Reading WoT.

That would be my cousin/nephew Frank. Rarely. But when I do, I like it with three large spoonfuls of sugar and nothing else. Alternatively, I like the good folks at Starbucks to make me some sort of 'coffee' that is basically candy.

Favorite character: Breeze, with honorable mentions to the King's Wit, Wayne, Dalinar, and Shallan. Least favorite: For whatever reason, I don't really like Jasnah Kholin.

Probably Cadsuane.

Reading Shadows of Self and A Tale of Two Cities right now. Re-reading North! Or Be Eaten as well.

Watching Merlin on Amazon Prime right now. A bit cheesy, but also hilarious, and the performances are usually pretty great.

They're all really good, which is nice. I love a good redemption arc, though, so I voted Hrathen.

Yikes, difficult. They're all brilliant. I'm going to semi-cheat, however, and answer the last three Wheel of Time books.

I actually stumbled across the 17th Shard because I stumbled across Mistborn: The Inquisition. I was interested in joining, but it seems to be full. Are there any other similar sites (ie for Stormlight, etc.)?

I'm not a huge fan of traditional workouts (they get boring), so this was a fun alternative. Definitely rough on the hands though. I usually wear gloves to prevent blistering.

Mat, my friends. Mat all day, every day. I also quite like Rodel Ituralde and Talmanes. Perrin can be a bit boring, but I like him because he's an upstanding guy who manages to stay with one woman (who he marries) throughout the whole series. Galad is decent. Moiraine is pretty good too. Not a huge fan of Min, or Egwene. I hate Cadsuane. Back and forth on Nynaeve.

I use a Fiskar X27 super splitting axe, and whatever wood I can take off the hands of random people.

One of my favorite movies is Christopher Nolan's Inception. When I was reading Mistborn: The Final Empire recently, I found several similarities to that film. Breeze, for example, is quite similar personality-wise to Eames. Both Kelsier and Dom have an issue with a long-lost wife. Vin and Ariadne are young women whom the main leader kind of just recruits to the band and explains a whole new world to. Both are heist stories. Do you see any other similarities? Do you think Nolan read Mistborn?
