So, First I'd like you to look at my post. then I thought I'd look at the Past three games you were in: QF48: In this game D1 Experience was killed for proposing we try a strange strategy. 2/4 votes on him were Elims. There were 9 people voting in total, (people abstaining because they brought up the point you're talking about, no good reasoning D1.) and they were all voting on different people, allowing the Elims to come in and take control. (and there were more Elims voting than just those 2, just only 2 on experience.) LG71:Okay so this one was....I don't even know. The v/v trains were mostly village fault, Araris was the only relevant voting Elim. Again though, only 9/23 people voted. MR46: We almost caught an Elim D1, but 1) not enough people voted, and 2) some people weren't okay with fear killing Aman. Now, I don't see a pattern besides the fact that each time a villager died, as it was all different situations (though all of them were that the village needs to just vote more.) Of course there's never enough info. If we do hit an Elim it's probably mostly luck. sometimes not, but sometimes yeah. as people have said, delaying the "D1" execution puts us at a worse situation, and there's nothing to do but do the same thing, just one villager down. I'm done arguing this though. I- So this is assuming that Village has all of them, which is something I don't believe. It might be more balanc-y, considering Kaladin and Szeth, but I don't want to assume village has them all. While that's technically true, it still risks the Elims getting the Honorblades, which means that they'll have one more tool and be that much closer to their wincon. also I want to say that if you (you in the general sense of *gestures wildly with hands* yous) are up for the vote and You claim to have an Honorblade publicly, that's more of a reason for me to kill you. EDIT: Kill as in vote out. I'm not claiming Elim :P.

I guess that plays a larger part in this game than LG67, because one of the wincons is for the Elims to gain all the honorblades. The Elims do have gravitation though, Quinn. Which is basically just as useful to them. They don't need to know what honorblade, but if someone is doing an action then they most likely have an honorblade. Which is why I Implore everyone to not say if they have an honorblade to anyone. It's of course your decision, but I personally don't see the benefit in claiming to anyone. it doesn't confirm you village no matter what you do, it doesn't help you unless you think you need help with what to do with your actions, which I don't think people should be doing anyways. (not the actions bit, the help bit.) The only thing it does is possibly alert the Elims and get them to kill you :P. Anyways, also, Progression might not be useful right away, but again there are three cycles and two action uses. While I like PMs, you can't assume that the Village has both of those Honorblades, and Progression is still a good thing to have just in case.

Wow. Okay. I leave for five minutes to update my spreadsheet and I return to a whole conversation that just happened. And here I was thinking it was a brief pause in talking. coolio. Uhh Both Matrim and Quinn said what I was thinking, so there's no point in me responding. I don't want Connie to feel like people are starting to gang up on her, but yeah. Connie seems like she's playing differently than the last two games, and though that might be because she's learning to play and such, it's still suspicious to me. I'm open to other votes, someone just needs to propose them. Connie, I'm not going to switch off of you onto nothing, so if you want me off then you find me someone you think is suspicious. This is a huge point. I mean, a big part was just that I didn't wanna kill Aman, that's kinda rude, but also there were like 6 votes in cycle one. Why have we been killing off villagers recently connie? because the village has decided not to vote in these past few games, and that's let the Elims gain control. Whether they do it by not voting or voting they still have control. ----- I was going to respond to some posts before that I forgot about, so in reading over the thread I saw them so I'm going to respond now. I think it depends on how the person claims Elim. The way Gears has been doing it, hidden kinda, it's like "oh, look, a joke" but if someone were to come out and be like "Hey guys, I'm an Elim btw." that's different. or- well, I can't think of it. Progression can also be useful though, and stuff like that. I think more useful to the village than Abrasion, but anyways what I wanted to respond to was you? saying earlier that the Elims probably want to open PMs too, which I say probably not unless they're feeling lonely. their whole advantage is that they can talk to eachother privately (well, in addition to other things since it's not a vanilla game) and we can't opening PMs might give them he opportunity to manipulate village, but it also lets the village talk where they can't see, and that's not good for them. I think...wow. This is not- Wow. I was so against PMs when I started playing because I thought they were better for the Elims. look at me now. I- I was responding to you? oops. coolio though. With that my fingers are cold ow i need to stop typing

Wait a second. This: Was meant to be "Be more careful in voting" ?? Okay so I have many more problems with that, because I say don't be careful with voting, vote as many and as much as the GM will allow. Being careful/reluctant to vote is what gets us in those situations where the Elims win, because they can control it more easily. Of course, don't throw out votes all willy-nilly, but don't not-vote because there isn't any hard evidence. There will almost never be hard evidence. If you want to vote on someone because they Also Connie, to answer your question about why the initial vote, it was just that sentence. I personally don't like it when people tell me what we should do, especially when 1) It is probably a pretty obvious thing, and 2)... Okay, just one point then? When it's either a pretty obvious thing or something that doesn't make sense. Performative. That's it. This feels performative. it's like going "Man, those Elims, which we all hate, we should really try and kill them this time, as I too, like you, want to kill the Elims" :P. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ No, yeah, I get that. kinda. I think...I just - hey. Wasn't I responding to TJ, not you? huh? EDIT: This was going to be an edit into my last post, but TWO WHOLE PEOPLE posted in between then and now. I swear. It's been like, five minutes, no?

I could tell, and it makes me feel better about my vote on you I think my problem with Gears' posts is the giving advice bit, because even though I think it's interesting to see what Gears thinks, they phrase it in a way that is (telling) the village (er, and Elims) what they should do. I don't see people tunneling on gears tbh, I see Stink being Stink and people trying to tell him not to. I also think that looking for "good evidence" Day one just helps people find an excuse to not vote. People read them when they join, but then might not look over them before posting on the thread because they want to respond to the thread because it's finally up and people are talking and I can talk and I like talking :P. -- I think that- Okay, yeah, it's D1, so there's not much to go on, but- I think that's an easy thing to do, regardless of alignment, so voting on Gears shouldn't be AI unless you're assuming Stink is an Elim with Gears or not at all. -- As I side note, for the truthless: Please don't try to get yourself killed early game. I mean- yeah, sure, it's your wincon, right? but who likes dying early? no one :P.

I- I agree about ignoring that unique roles to some extent, I'm not too worried about them. *flashbacks* Is Mike okay though? I- I would hope so, but I wouldn't be so sure of that. I mean,, They probbaly will, but in LG67 I had the ability to open PMs or heal someone, and I only opened PMs once. Worst case scenario the Elims have Chan-Charana-Chararana- uh, that honorblade, the one with Division and Abrasion, and PMs might not get opened for quite a bit. Of course maybe whoever has the Honorblade really likes PMs and will open them right away. Who knows. but paired with Healing- I mean, Healing isn't really relevant N1, sometimes 2, but you can only make two actions within 3 turns.

@Straw if too many people sign up who want to play, then I'm fine with moving to being a pinch hitter. EDIT: Realized 1) I didn't need to tag you, and 2) Elan and Connie seem to have said the same thing, so, yeah.

You're assuming though that they'll know who the Stone Shaman is. There's plenty of people and not a lot that the Stone Shaman can do differently to let the Elims know who they are. I'm not considering killing off the Truthless specifically, but I'm not against killing people acting obviously suspicious just because they might be the Truthless. But yeah, I also forgot about that rule :P. EDIT: Huh. Basically pointless, but if I were to use Illumination on myself and someone were to roleblock me...would the roleblock go through?

I...Apparently need to re read the rules... What is Kamikaze? Why is the Shaman's fail safe dying? What????? I...I never know what to do about jester roles. on one hand, it doesn't hurt us to kill them, but on the other hand if someone is acting suspicious it might be because they are purposefully trying to act like a jester so they can stay alive- so basically I'm going to try and play as if the Truthless doesn't exist. I would respond to this, but people already have.

OKAY so I'm just going to say some things here because I definitely was a large factor in why the dead doc is so long. FIRST OF ALL WOW Okay to think that if I had last minute voted on Aman, then things would have gone much differently. I think we might have accidentally killed off everyone on me though then, depending, so that would have been fun. I didn't want to kill Aman D1, but it ended up not mattering in the long run, with him being inactive and everything. SECOND OF ALL It got honestly painful to watch the whole Gears thing- after reading the Quinn/Gears PM I realized that Quinn for some reason just put all her trust in gears D1 before they even talked- I guess I kind of did this to Kas my 3rd game, right after my first Elim game, but I was still plenty suspicious of him :P. The fact that turtle got killed made zero sense to me, but again- you can see all that in the Dead Doc. Anyways Good job to the Elims for winning the game, even though the odds were stacked against you from the beginning.

Haha! I got almost a perfect score, despite not studying! :P. I- uh, Sorry? I don't understand.

Ah, yeah. Okay, I can get on board with Adolin romantically with Kaladin and Shallan, but Kaladin and Shallan just being friends :P.
-
Okay so- yeah, no, I am not a shipper of that... :P. I don't think that Kaladin and Shallan are a good match. I do admit I used to ship them (maybe for a small time back when I read Words of Radiance) but that would only work with a completely healthy version of them where their mental illnesses aren't bringing them down more- I got...a little sidetracked there... Anyways- :P.
-
Something someone I know was theorizing is that Kaladin is going to die in book five, but instead of Syl finding a new radiant or...whatever happened last time, She somehow gains a physical body and moves fully into the physical realm and...becomes her own person, or something.

my brother is currently reading through, and during the terravangian Interlude he runs to me and is like "Terravangian! These words! [speculation speculation] I think Terravangian is closer Connected to Odium than we thought!" and I was just sitting there thinking "just you wait...Just. You. Wait."
