@Fifth Scholar, I'll reply to your accusations in full later, but you said you're very sure that Maill is village in your previous post and that you are say you are not happy with the focus on Maill this cycle. Why do you read him as village? Why do you believe he'll flip village? You've never given reasoning for that, if I recall correctly. I'm suspicious of Gears + Maill team, and while I would vote for Gears, Maill's flip would reveal more about Gears than the other way around. Maill's flip would also reveal more details about Illwei's alignment, and yours to an extent to which you've been defending him. It would also reveal Burnt and Devotary's motives on the Quinn vote last cycle. I firmly read Quinn as village, and believe the counter on Quinn was to protect Maill. Edit: Maill claimed Thug to me, in an attempt to get me to claim too. I've heard he claimed something else to the Fallion's Four, so I assume he fake claimed to me.

Hmm, no he basically has an extra life. And since Pewter take no actions and is passive, it gets used up when he's eliminated or attacked. Hence, it'd be waste to include it in RNG. Edit: Yeah, technically all the Mistborns always have Pewter until it's used up.

They have their own weaknesses. Gneorndin doesn't get the use of either atium or duralumin or both. Zane can use metals in consecutive cycles. Vin doesn't have any weakness cause she's village. :P. Peek at the player list :P. Pewter is passive, it doesn't count as an action if used. It's not included in the metal Zane roles each cycle.

Breeze was getting impatient. Being chased on a horseback by archers wasn’t enough and now he had to wait for His Majesty. Sure, Elend’s the king and all that but, c’mon! It’s just like how it was with Kel! Weren’t kings supposed to be punctual? Well, none of them actually are, so I don’t know why anyone expects them to, but it’s Elend. The boy’s usually on time! As if on cue, Elend entered his study, with Vin on his side. Everyone else was already present - Hammond was sitting on a plush chair in a corner and Clubs was teaching Spook tricks about gambling. “Sorry about that, I...got indulged in some research.” Elend said sheepishly. “Is that what kids call it these days?” Breeze smirked as he tried to ease the situation in the room. He knew he would be in trouble of course. There’s no way he'd get away with bringing an entire army to their home, but he’d talk himself out of it. Everyone would call his plans insane and yet agree to go ahead with it anyway. “So, you’ve got the Cett army to come here.” “Yes.” “And you thought it was a good idea?” “Of course.” “.....explain please?” “Oh you see, well. There’s your father’s army waiting to destroy you and I thought I’d bring him some competition!” “.....” “I think…” Ham intercepted, “that Breeze means we could get them to turn on themselves. It would prevent Straff from focusing solely on us.” Elend looked pensive and seemed to think about it for a while. “Would it work? Theoretically, it’s possible because they have each other as a distraction, but I’m not quite sure as their ultimate goal is Luthadel.” Breeze grinned and stood up. “Allow me to introduce my grand plan.” He could see them groaning but he ignored them and continued. “You see I didn’t just spread the rumors of the atium stash, I also sprinkled its location with them!” “What? Where, Breeze?” Vin glared. Geez, you’d have thought he had invited the Lord Ruler himself to Keep Venture. “Why, Kredik Shaw, of course! You see, they don’t need to take the city to take control of the atium. My plan involves them sneaking into the Kredik Shaw and searching for atium. And given that it’s atium we’re talking about, you can bet on the non-existent atium that there’d be someone important among the party sent to search for it.” “That’s ….surprisingly a very effective plan. So we trap and eliminate them? Cut off the head and wait for the body to go away? Effective indeed...” pondered Ham. Ha! See! No matter how crazy it seems, they always agree. “What about Straff? He won’t know about it.” “Well, you don’t think he had spies in the Cett camp?” “Well….” “Yes, that’s right. I buddied up to them, and now your father knows all about Kredik Shaw. So lad, you’ve got a decision to make. We’d all be there as one big happy family. And we trap them and take them all out. But we should be quick though, as they’re sending a party to Kredik Shaw probably as early as tonight.” Elend looked around the room to see everyone give their approval. He finally turned to Vin, and they nodded to each other. “You’ll be fine, Vin? “You take care of yourself, I won’t be there to protect you.” And that was it. Elend nodded and looked around once more. “Right, we should start preparing then. Take our most trusted guards, and be careful.” With that, Elend and Vin walked off, Vin would join them later. The others gathered around and began planning. This is going to be a very interesting night. Perhaps the young lass would slip her father’s attention and join too? He immediately dismissed the foolish thought, those would come later. For now, he joined the others as they began discussing strategy. Welcome to MR49: Lode of Luthadel! Okay this may be true for the game before this cycle, I was very much connected to the thread this cycle, cause it was the weekend. When I mentioned my suspicion on Ashbringer, Quinn had a single vote from Araris, so Quinn/Maill thing did not exist at the time. Mentioned Quinn as one of my village trusts in the same post. And then a train on Ash arose, and I waited till Ash replied to my suspicion. In the post replying to Ash, I said this: Because we had seen 3 Soothing actions in D1 and only 1 (probably Quinn's) in D2 so if there were elim vote manipulators, and if Maill was evil, I wanted to force their hand. We had 2 Soothing action this cycle, which means either Maill is an elim and elims have two Soothers and they knew just one Soothe is enough to save him (cause they knew about Quinn's Soothe) and they wouldn't have to overplay their hand OR elim!Maill + only one Elim Soother and an inactive or hesitant village Soother OR there are two more village Soother's and their actions does not tell much about Maill's. I voted for TWS in reply to a prompt by Fifth because I found it odd that he listed all the inactives and did not list TWS whom I was suspicious of (because if they are not that active and have no time, how do they make informed decision on whom to vote for hm?). So I wanted to see how he'd react if asked to join in on TWS. Fifth ignoring that post and the vote has made me suspicious of him. So, 'incredibly disconnected' and 'not engaging at all with Quinn/Maill thing' seems worded to exaggerate, which I find odd. And I really don't get the village!Maill -> elim!Me connection, can you explain? Edit: Forgot to add, I really liked Ash's reply from the last page, feels genuine in revealing that Quinn had in fact told he didn't need to worry about his grinch.

What's your reasoning on Illwei? I'm voting on TWS because they seem similar to LG71, basically voting and dipping.

Sigh, Dannex really dies a lot all of a sudden and quite early in games, so I'm not sure about this. Is there a reason you did not mention TWS [Ashbringer] in your post? I would be willing to move there. I'm reading Quinn was village, and really unsure about Maill. Paranoid that this is an attempt by elim!Fifth to save elim!Maill. Definitely remember last minute shifts in QF45... :P.

@Ashbringer, first off I'm very much confused why you would make a post about who your elim teammates could be xD I also think I had the timeline of the things wrong because I initially thought you declined to vote in self preservation when both Pyro and Striker were up for grinch. If this is accurate Pyro was not up for grinch at all at the time: But, I never really got why you did not shift your vote on Pyro (on whom you said you have a null read) to save Striker (on whom you had strong village), especially when you said: Isn't 'generally inactive' the exact reason you voted for TUO? That vote on TUO....still seems odd. I'll actually look at the post since I was clocked out for a bit for D2/N2 cause of the QF :P. Okay just remembering that Stick built a case against Ashbringer. If Ashbringer is village, this post almost looks constructed. I didn't really notice how odd that was until TJ pointed it out. xD Also, a good point by Ash, because Stick did, in fact, ISO Ash, so I would believe she'd be keeping a close eye on him. And after sorta reading Ash's posts from C2 and the above stuff... (Ash, why did you vote for Quinn in between?), I...feel better about him? Still suspicious for not voting Pyro (ie hiding in side trains) to save Striker and vote on TUO (is it just for the inactivity?). Stick should be looked at closely IF Ash flips vil. And the "elims benefit by not self-pressing when they know they have teammates to help out" was general statement Ash, not a thing in your case. In your case, I was thinking more like - if one of the Fallion's Four is elim, they may have let you know that there'd be votes on Striker anyway and that you'd be safe. And I think Maill or Tani (I know I'm alone in this but meh, I think we shouldn't underestimate new players) might be the one so I thought building e/e train might be a good way to give info. Speaking of old stuff @Shard of Reading, you've gone radio silent after being a D1 grinch target. Thoughts on the proceedings? And something else that caught my eye. @Araris Valerian, what are you thoughts on TWS? Cause for me they seem awfully similar to the elim game they played in LG71, and you were elim along with them in it. Keeping my vote here as of now to see any involvement of vote manipulation *checks spreadsheet* we had 3 removed votes in D1, and Experience was not on either trains so we know it wasn't due to his vote self-cancelling + Rioting Smoked. Edit: Pffft, like you could do anything to stop Wyrm from posting anyway

@Quintessential I partially agree with Araris. Vote analysis is a helpful tool, but it shouldn't be used only by itself. The thing is you're purely using only votes to determine your suspects while foregoing or forgetting the reasoning behind them. For example, my D1 vote was late only because of IRL reasoning, which have started multiple times before, but you think it's suspicious anyway. My vote on D2, was because no one wanted to join me on Gears, and Striker was feeling very villagery in his sudden jump on giving me strong elim read for me mentioning LG67 Ventyl stuff, exactly like village Striker in LG73, jumping to form you, Illwei, Matrim team. Pyro was an alternative at a possibility to save Striker and I took it, cause I had a strong village feeling about Striker and slight evil towards Pyro. I also disagree with your reasoning on Ashbringer, in fact I read him as elim for the exact same reasoning you gave. Not voting in self-preservation is a very good way of earning village cred, and I think there's a chance he's done this here. Why would a villager not self-preserve when they know only their alignment with 100% certainty? He claimed he read Striker as village, then why didn't he vote on Pyro to save him? You say he voted on his suspicion who was...TUO? And the vote looked more like a poke? Like "Hey TUO, what are your thoughts?" That's what I meant in the original post when as I said it was suspicious that he left the vote on TUO at EoD. Elims actually have a reason to not self-press if they know a teammate is going to save them, as they get village cred. Wait what? Isn't pewter use passive? I thought it was removed from RNG consideration for Mistborn? @Kasimir

This is suspicious because why would Matrim oppose an Illwei kill but be indifferent to Experience's kill if he knew Experience was a Rioter? @Matrim's Dice can you elaborate more on this conversation. Okay later he says: Why, if you knew Exp was a Rioter? Or... presumably no knowledge of Illwei's role? And this seems very opposite to what Tani has done so far in this game? I'm finding it difficult to think of reasons why a new player who rolled village!Mistborn is going around mass claiming, tbh. That's Mailliw and Quinn separately, then together with Stick in the group, then to Illwei, then to Matrim? That's..too much to overlook. I would have expected the complete opposite i.e. reserved about role and paranoid about trust. I would like to vote them out this cycle, but I think asking out Seeker to scan them would be better, in case they are actually telling the truth but it causes IKYK about elim!Smoker hiding village!Mistborn!Tani, so I'd like input on this from everyone. If you are reading them as village, why? Another thought no one seemed to want to ask. @Tani, what was the metal given to you on D1 and what did you do with it? Note to self (or anyone ISOing Maill): Check if this has been mentioned in thread. [ @Illwei & @Matrim's Dice cause Illwei has ISO'd and Mat was planning to?] Gear's post does NOT help my suspicion on him. He spends time saying something that is obvious (or should be) and then proceeds to say that he'd be willing to kill everyone and anyone, which isn't entirely helpful. I find Ashbringer's vote on TUO last cycle very suspicious by the way. And the fact that it stayed there till the end of the cycle as well. Don't get the Stick or Illwei grinch, don't want to enlarge Mailliw's lead just yet, cause that makes players hesitate to come up with alternate trains like what happened last cycle. Would vote for Tani, but as I said, I wanna know your thoughts first. Ashbringer Agreed, as stated above, and village points for this. Now, Fallion's Four (yes, I'm calling you that, it's the Shadesmar Eight of this game, deal with it :P), please give your reads on every other member of the group (not just like vote placement suspicions, but everything as a whole) [ @Mailliw73 @Quintessential @Tani @_Stick_ ] Current trust of Fallion's Four: Quinn >= Stick > Maill > Tani Edit: Village reading Fifth and Elandera, and to an extent, Biplet. A little less on Mat, waiting for the reply, a little lesser on Stick which has decreased from my previous read cause of the whole Fallion's Four reveal, around the same for Quinn.

Believe it or not, I was going to use this joke for my third pew pew Thanks for running it Archer! It was terrifying fun! Enjoyed your write ups! Definitely enjoyed plotting stuff with Mat, and definitely did NOT enjoy being stressed out like the other 50% of the time :P. Good game village, and yeah Illwei, another game, another accurate D1 read :P.

I was actually getting paranoid about Reading/Mat team because if Reading was an elim, Mat could have easily seen me saying vote for Reading, and then decided to vote for Reading while Reading would vote for me for village read. But as Reading flipped vil, I don't see any reason why elim!Matrim would have added onto that vote. I feel good about Gears too, because Gears was the one who shifted the elimination to Reading stating that if Reading was evil, then that'd be likely that I'd be one as well. Elim!Gears would have known that Reading would flip village, and that would make me look good, and which would be bad for elims because they'd be soft clearing me and Mat, who I'm reading as village. I see there's atleast one low-active member trying to skirt by the game, and notice Mat voting for Exp. But if Experience is village and if I vote him, elims might hammer in the end. The Unknown Order. Huh, I was actually feeling the opposite. Mat has been sheeping Illwei and opposing me all game which is why I was getting paranoid of him. But I don't remember elim!Matrim sheeping Illwei before, and Reading flips makes me confident that I do not want to go along with my paranoia in the LyLo cycle. Not sure why you would think this, although hm looking at the votes maybe? Then you forget that I had to vote against my reads in self-preservation in 2/3 cycles. I think we should take messages as NAI, as message sender might be a villager or an elim. We have evidence that the messages can be correct as Quinn seemed to have received one that said Illwei was village. But we shouldn't jump to believe the others just for that reason, so NAI it is.

I really don't know why Quinn is discouraging this. It's lylo anyway, if Reading is village, and he hits village, it's 3-3. If he's village and doesn't shoot it's 4-3. It's Lylo either way. If Reading shoots, there's a chance we may hit an elim or, failing which we go into the lylo cycle with more info. Really feels like elim!Quinn is trying to stop village!Reading from shooting here.
