  1. Press the tiny square at the top left corner of the quote box and hit Ctrl X, it'll cut the whole quote box and Ctrl V wherever you want.
  2. First off, I didn't sit on my vote last cycle to ensure not to tie, I was thinking about it because Illwei gave me that idea in LG73, but I literally finished redding the vote after the time touched :29. I was blue that if that's allowed/needed. @Archer Second, I really don't see why elim!Reading would have voted on me and not on himself when he saw I was voting for him? Perhaps if he knew beforehand that Matrim was gonna vote on him? But I really don't see that. The optimal move for elim!Reading would have been to vote on himself. Quinn was the one who made the connections between me and Reading and convenient called it tinfoil and kept her vote. And then moved it around to cause a tie, which in her own words she used to throw suspicion on me. Prefer Quinn's elimination over Reading's because of stuff said in last post and this one. It doesn't make sense? The only reason she would keep a tie if it was v/v? The only reason she would take your speculation (me/reading team) and run with it is if I'm village. And that tinfoil she cooked had lot of holes like I mentioned it in the last post.
  3. @Quintessential Yeah, that was a typo on my part, I missed to add "on Illwei". And I definitely read everything together and since you guys just reply quickly to each other when I'm on, I assumed you had indeed replied in quick succession as I don't check timestamps of each and every messages. It found it weird that two incidents happened a) you voted for Gears, Mat called you out for it, you retracted b. illwei asked why you weren't voting for her and you followed that up with a vote - feels like every time someone confronts you about something you agree with them. No? I've been reading players as village on D1 based on how their posts feel? Like Reading in LG73. And Devotary in LG67 when I had to Squire very early in the game. These are most memorable/recent one but I have always given gut D1 village reads except for recent games when I was not that active in the first cycle. No Then you ask them about it Huh? Like what? Someone removes certain players from the list as dying early. And if one of them flips elim, what to ask them? "Why did you remove them from the PoE"? They'll obviously give the reason they initially gave. I definitely had read the rules as the entire tally would be revealed, hence the following statement: And I really don't like the connection here, because it doesn't make sense for elim!me and elim!Reading to vote on each other first off, because that would have been so obvious. And second, elim!me and elim! Reading could have just claimed to have voted on ourselves because that would have been less suspicious to claim. And I really do not see elim!Reading because elim!Reading would have voted on himself when he would have seen me say I'd vote for him. I also have no idea why TUO voted for Quinn. I thought Quinn was fine because she voted on Dannex last cycle when she voted Dannex when she didn't have to and could have just let me to die, but this cycle's connection just doesn't make sense to me. Just calling everything as tinfoil doesn't sit right with me either. Looks like lots of vote hopping is going around. Most suspicious of Quinn, and I'd rather vote her out over Books but there;s no time. Flying books.
  4. I cannot recall you defending someone on D1 before at all. I cannot recall you commenting on Quinn-Illwei stuff in previous games at all. @Quintessential, correct me if I'm wrong on both accounts. You say "you immediately discount the possibility that I genuinely read them village", you're wrong because I did initially read them like that, but I felt was something off so I came back to them. "Why would elim!Gears do anything of these things", that's the reasoning I gave, to appear as a villager. It's the tone of his entire post, it sounds and looks more like his intention is to earn village points rather than to save a teammate. Like: That doesn't look like he's taking to e!teammate!you. This whole thing feels bah too performative and appearance sake-ish. The "are you okay?" to Illwei also doesn't feel like e/e. My point Anywayy, I'll keep this on the backburner since no one seems to want to join me. Yeah, don't like this random shade thrown. Striker, you died D1, and if I remember correctly, you clocked out of the game as I don't remember reading a lot of your stuff in the dead doc. I was personally responsible voting out Ventyl for the sole reason of claiming Edgedancer. And I felt this was the exact same situation would follow, as in he claims, elims leave him alive to create IKYK, and we'd voting him out later. And I never meant "we" as in collective "we", I would have tried persuading away from a Ventyl vote personally, but it felt like Illwei and Mat (and there might be one or two more I'm not sure) were reading him village, and that's why I was confused about the Coinshot's choice. Ventyl has never pulled any sort of gambit as an elim. But this sort of wild jumps is what was making me think Striker is village sigh. I have no idea what elim!Striker's motive here would be? Like I fail to understand, if he flips evil, will people look at this and go - what? I don't understand. And then I read Mat's post and now I'm confused. I'm still leaning village on think. On Pyro, felt weird he shaded Elandera right after her first OOC post about not OOC posting, and shading me. Hmmmm if I vote for Pyro now it's 8-5, and we had 3 vote manips last cycle... but I feel the more closer the vote, the more info we can get from it, and village manipulators might not be too enthusiastic to remove vote off Striker. Pyromancer Gears Are you 3.14? Because I'm π-Romantic
  5. Work was a bit busy today and what little time I had dedicated it to QF because I figured there's 24 hours more in the day. Catching up right now: I think quite a few of us here have played LG67 here where the exact same thing happened and we would have prevented that, I would have, and it seems like Illwei and Mat would have too. So yeah, very much disagree with the kill choice, it was someone quite a few read as village. Also, it probably wasted a Seeker scan as well if they had decided to scan Ventyl.(to clarify, agree with Elandera that it is village vigilante, the above message is to the said vigilante). Good point *sigh* I can't not read Devotary as village. Help. This entire thing sounds village, agreed on the Tani and Maill part. But it's only C2, so let Tani play. Striker's feeling more and more like LG73. Continuing the village read on Stick, seeing nothing contrary to it. Ashbringer's train is weird because no one seemed to think about him, then Bard voted and everyone were like "oh yeaahh" and fell in. The reasoning is there, Stick made some good points, but the way everyone just fell in line... doesn't feel right to me. Will come back to this if nothing materializes off my top suspect. Stuff from last night. Went back and read them again, to see if it was a one time thing, but no Gears feels off here - as I said it appears like he's defending Illwei, Quinn and Striker, to an extent, to appear very villagery. Gears. Close to 2 AM here, so done for the night. I'd like it if someone goes through them to see if they feel the same.
  6. I didn't see both your and Mat's vote on Dannex as I'm a bit busy with work today and just was just adding bits to the post whenever I was a bit free so I hadn't refreshed the page, and at the time it wasn't a tie. I'm going for dinner, so I'll reply to the rest of your post later. Dannex.
  7. Wait, you think the reasoning I had is NAI? How, explain? And Quinn agrees that it was NAI okaaay We have only this cycle to trust the person, as according to Gears' plan which was to "X someone else this turn, exe CBP in the next" (I'mma start abbreviating) This post here was a headache to read through, this strong push but vastly different from the MR48 C3 push on Quinn because elim!Illwei would not be in such a pressure to push and it's C1 rather than C3 so it would be an odd push for an elim to do. There's no C1 elim kill. I don't know if this is genuine or an act to make the village paranoid, but I get the feeling that it's the former. Suspicion for this as she says she's not voting and then immediately votes for Illwei in the very next post. Yeah, not true, as I've literally stated that I'll be voting for Reading. I've got my vote on Gears, though the vote count has obviously changed. Yeah, I disagree with this btw, Dannex feel like his usual village self. Disagree with the whole post obviously, but feel like that's a usual thing for village!Dannex to make. Yeah, I think it sorta settles the village read on Illwei *checks the is-illwei-sus doc* village points longer than sus points and definitely NOT in font size 67 :P. Mindmeld between Illwei and Mat feels genuine, like in QF50. If it appears so, it's because of: I'm really not at all comfortable with how many people are writing off Gears' as NAI because that post had 3 plans of which none are exclusively helpful for the village? They were - A. Random chance (personally bad idea) B. Give it to someone getting killed early often, then falsely puts forth the notion that he gets killed early recently C. Kill CBP (which had contradictions which I mentioned earlier while replying to Mat) Also, I'm not really liking use of PoE to eliminate elimination candidates because it's a very easy way to remove your elim teammates from the pool by giving any reason. It's a not tie right now. I'm on two, everyone else is one vote. So village reads on Illwei and Mat, but definitely NOT voting on them for the bow because I feel like they're gonna pew pew me if they get it. -_-' Mild suspicious but not ready to vote out this cycle unless for self-pres - Quinn (feel like she should have caught the flaw in her plan if she was villager, feel like she voted for Illwei because she was prompted by her), Ashbringer (for using PoE to narrow elimination suspects, vague reasonings for the vote, but I'll let it slide for now, because keeping stuff to yourself is NAI) If it becomes clear that I'm going to die anyway, I'll change my CBP vote to Illwei. Edit: Ninja'd by Quinn and Mat, I'll wait to see if someone goes for Gears before self-pressing.
  8. Why mention it in the first place then? Thinking aloud is fine, but he said "it is only used to if we cannot trust the crossbow person" but in the plan it said to eliminate the crossbow person in the very next cycle. where is the time to trust the crossbow person then? the whole "do not use it", "use it only if we cannot trust crossbow person" "kill then C2" is contradictory. I mean, it was kinda the point? Train of thought went from Pick someone who dies early recently -> I die a lot early -> Gimme Bow -> Pew Pew
  9. Okay I didn't mention the other two because, the first is not an alignment indicative on your part and the second is basically covered by Illwei, which I forgot to mention I agree with. First alternate proposal: If we force the elims, the elims will go along with it, leaving the crossbow received to chance, which I personally do not like. You may ore may not, which is NAI for you. Second: As Illwei said, I don't like how you've emphasize you die a lot, and the "vote for me" thing was uncomfortable to me. There was no vote discussion going on, and you are my biggest suspicion
  10. Again, *sigh* this gives the elims a chance to frame someone, and we shouldn't vote out someone for the sole reason that they're holding the crossbow. We're possibly depriving ourselves of a NK immune villager.
  11. Yeah, that does NOT make me feel comfortable. Reading and Matrim basically said elims will go for it, which is sorta stating the obvious. Illwei's post was more elaborate than that, and specifically the part "Vote for me" feels similar to "claim to me" stuff she does in her village games. I don't think it's NAI because I do not remember her doing this in MR48. Village points for this. ...graphs? what graphs Yeah, this ain't it. This feels like you're planting the seeds to frame someone. It's like the 4th time someone has said "now that I've said this..elims know this" Okaaaay I don't know how to feel about this... It's..not a pocketing attempt nor a shade thrown? Unsure. Can't find a motive for elim!Illwei to do this. Yeah, I'm with this actually. Discussion's been mainly about the crossbow and we will have the elimination vote to assist the crossbow vote to find the elims, Reading feels village. The whole point of the Arbalist is we give it to such a player who is dangerous as a villager, so the elims will not be able to NK them. Giving them the bow and eliminating them when they are supposed to be NK immune player doesn't sit right with me. Gears I'm not with Quinn's plan because elims might decide to frame someone, and if by chance villagers collectively vote in 3s for a player they'd be in suspicion, it creates a lot of IKYK confusion in general. Reading is my strongest village read right now, and I'm willing to vote for them now. NOT willing to vote for Books or Quinn. Both don't feel e/e together because of the coordination and plan agreement, but I don't trust them at all right now. Illwei would be a good candidate for the Arbalist (i.e. dangerous if village immune to NK as mentioned above) but the bit about voting on me while suspecting me to force everyone to vote when the cycle had just started makes me hesitate enough. Matrim fits this too, but he sorta shoehorned himself into the mindmeld and that's enough to make me not give him the bow. It sorta felt like a joke though, so not sure, but not seen enough village stuff anyway. Edit: Missed a bunch of stuff because I had checked only till end of page 2. Check next post.
  12. Right, the first order of business is to choose the Archer Crossbow person, and we can be sure the elims will all try to vote on one of their own so depending on their numbers they'd have 2/3 votes. So that's why voting on ourselves is probably not a good idea. Yeah, we don't have much to go on in terms of trust in D1, but it's better not to give elims an extra kill in a 12 player game. Alternatively, we could vote on yourselves and let elims choose their own Crossbow person as we do get to know the number of votes on the chosen person at the end of the cycle, and we can vote them out. Now that I've said, it might lead to IKYK and I personally prefer the former option rather than this one. Revealing whom you voted for after the reveal might also help narrow down the elims and prevent them from lying about their votes. Edit: Ninja'd :P.
  13. Basically the repeated "my aim was to create discussion, and look, it happened" reasoning, because discussion would ensue nonetheless as it was the within first five posts of the game? Two opposing reasonings for the Seeker thing: First he says he forgot about Smokers, then goes on explain his reasoning like he didn't forget about Smokers after all. Also, I initially thought him change his vote to Books might be village indicative, but then I remembered village!Striker didn't actually care who got voted out between Illwei and Matrim in LG73, and it's not the same here. The reason to avoid tie is NAI as elims would want to avoid a tie as well. But I think this point could go either way so I'm not sure. Stuff from this cycle makes me feel a little better about him. But I'm... still suspicious of him. The only reason I'm even hesitating a bit is I went back and read through Gears' EoD posts because I felt something off about them, and the more I read them the more I feel like Gears was using TMI to defend Illwei, Quinn and sorta Striker. And if Gears is evil, I think Striker is not evil with him. With TUO it was them popping up at times and not involving themselves in the game discussion, felt like they were skating by, and Tani, as I said just feels like they are overplaying their newness. Tani's is more of a gut read so I'd like to see more. Evi was attacked but survived :P. I think what Fifth intended to say was that if Reading is elim, the elims would have tried to save him either by vote manipulation or by jumping on alternate vote train but not BOTH. And he seems to think it's more likely to be the former because the vote manipulation does not require the elims to expose themselves, but the jumping on alternate train does. Yeah, I hadn't completed my full read of the thread remember? Had only finished 9 pages, so I didn't want to vote based on incomplete information. Came back with 30 mins left to rollover and tried to finish reading the thread and by the time I was done, 4 mins were left. I didn't know the vote count when I voted but I basically saw Mat saying it's 6-4 (looking back Mat said it was 6-4 before Ash had voted, but I didn't grasp that as I was skimming) and hence voted. I didn't see Devotary's vote because I started typing up my post before she voted and did not refresh in between. But I don't think I would have refrained from voting even if I knew it was 8 votes because I've always voted.
  14. Bahh sorry xD I was just abbreviating stuff for my convenience while noting it down and just forgot to change them So the letters inside parentheses are the players on which the votes are like - I for Illwei, B for Books, S for Striker and R for Reading. BR is basically Before Rollover xD And the other stuff in parentheses is basically me speculating when the vote manniper might have gone to sleep for us to consider them possibly village.
  15. Okay so I went back because I read the whole thread in one go (well two goes) I went back to see vote status at specific times to see when the Soothe submission about have been submitted. 3(I)-2(S)-2(B)-2(R) - 14 hrs BR 3(I)-3(B)-3(R)-2(S) - 13 hrs BR (here?) 4(B)-3I-3R-2S - 11hrs BR (sleep?) 4B-2I-2R-2S - 10:45 BR 5B-2R-2S-1I - 10 hrs BR (no point in Soothing here) 5B-4R-2S - 6:30 BR After this is all votes on Books, so I don't think anyone would have Soothed a vote off if they were online after this point. Reading wasn't actually in the lead which was my initial assumption when making the first post of the cycle, so I no longer think Reading looks bad from it. If the vote manipper was active around 11-14 hours before End of Day, they could be village. Though knowing the manipper's alignment, we cannot know Reading's But the person who removed a vote off Books is possibly an elim trying to create a tie. Also, a couple of players (Quinn and Gears, I think) are suspicious of last minute votes. I was racing against time to finish reading the thread and make a vote, but other than that we should not forget about ties causing no elimination, and that is the reason I enlarged the lead on Books ( I did not have info about vote count and I had not seen Devotary's vote as I do not hit refresh when I'm typing up a post and I saw Mat mention 6-4 somewhere and voted for Books) so we should look for difference on who wants to just bandwagon, and who wants to prevent a tie, as the latter was my intention. @Fifth Scholar, I see your post, but you're talking to almost 3AM TJ here, so I'mma give an answer to you after waking up
  16. Hi Wyrm! Definitely checked your account's past display names to check if it was Kas trolling again. Also, three Soothers.... It does make Reading look bad... Gotta check the vote timings to see if the orders were sent before the players went to sleep, to see if it was village Soothers wanting to prevent a tie or elim Soother wanting to create one. Leaning towards the latter, because I think Reading was in the lead when everyone tuned out.
  17. Forgot to add Ventyl among my mild village reads. Yeah, no this is Striker's most suspicious post so far me. Earlier in the game, he admitted that Illwei felt similar to the last game (i.e. LG73, in which Illwei was village) and that he tunneled on her in that game, but still wants to vote on her this game. This post, he changes his tune to saying he's similar to the MR48, in which she was elim. Which is it? If she was similar in both games, why is it tipping the scale towards elim this time? Hmmmmm sliiiightly paranoid that Gears is using TMI to defend Illwei in the post voting for Books, but for now, more village points for the vote on Books. Revisit if Illwei and Books flip village. I see, my bad. You mentioned you played something (Avalon? not familiar with it), but I still feel that the newness is sliiiightly overplayed. Gahhh, now I'm feel paranoid -.- This is the same thing you did in QF50 -_-'. I am ignoring Devotary at this point because I always read her as village -.- [yes she seems village now too] And sorta skipping a few Gears posts because they are long and there's no tiiime. Will get back to these. Okayy, feeling a little better earlier, but someone earlier said Striker/Books not e/e. I donno about that it looks like Books has *checks* 4 votes to Illwei's 3, so there's hmm not much reason for elim!Striker to shift to Books after going after Illwei so strongly. Hmmmm SKIPPING ASH's BIG POST - COME BACK TO THIS IF THERE IS TIME Flyingbooks Also, I think Reading has been dying early recently.
  18. Fleur stumbled out of his house bleary-eyed. He'd been idling away for too long, and he'd missed quite a bit. He quickly found a storyteller to recap the events till now. [Okayokay here are Fleur's incohorent thoughts because he keeps getting distracted by....well you know ] [This was supposed to be RPd as Fleur's thoughts but I figured I'll never finish this before rollover, so maybe next time?] Striker votes' on Gears. I agree with his point on Coinshots actually. Obviously no one will shoot some random people. Let them follow their suspicion, they don't need to only kill someone scanned as Spiked. What I did find suspicious was this: Felt close to LG67!Striker speculating elim team composition. 3 votes on Striker. Matrim, I understand you be cautious about Coinshots (I'm sorryyyy :P), but as I said earlier, agree with Striker re: Coinshots Out of the three, Quinn's feel most suspicious on gut [Future TJ coming back to this while formatting, so apparently this was a ninja, hm]. Village points for Matrim as he felt the same. Agree with Stick's opinion that elim would not have slipped like that, but the distribution guess still has me side-eyeing Striker. Okay this is going too slow for my liking - gonna try not commenting on each and every post :P. Books repeating Stick's point hmmm. Evil points for this. This post from Striker is suspicious. Giving "discussion" as a reason for a seemingly poor vote, when the game had just begun is suspicious to me. Posts like this are always suspicious to me. Good point by Gears. If Striker had read Gears' post clear enough to find it suspicious, he would have seen the bit about Smokers. Is he using too elimy to be an elim to his advantage? Seems like damage control. He has already told he had forgot about Smokers, now trying to justify his reasoning? Agreed with this. Feeling good about Stick. And hence feeling bad about Illwei's vote on Stick. Lots of talk on Smoker and Smoking suspicion. I'm gonna tell you right now because village sometimes has the tendency to look at scans and forget everything else and recency bias - a vanilla scan has to be taken only as a secondary information along with the reads on the scanned person. Don't want us to eliminate a vanilla villager simply because they were scanned vanilla (and I don't want to hear "but they're just vanilla! we can afford to kill them" reasoning. every good vanilla villager we have, we're forcing elims to use their kill on a vanilla.) [Futue TJ here, okay so a lot of players have already covered this point, but just wanted to make it clear nonetheless] Hmmm okay cancel that feeling good about Stick because it was still day 1 of Day 1 and the retraction from Books citing not to tunnel feels a bit weird. Great now I'm reading Maill mild elim too... this post basically... like... : P idk but A. it feels off to me--like, it feels kind of like Books voting Gears in C5 of the MR. My reasons for voting Illwei are more or less exclusive to me? if that makes sense? and Maill just adopting them without at least explicitly mentioning that they were originally mine feels weird. Very specific mention of Books voting. Reads village to me. Also agreed about something off about Maill. Felt that way about his previous post too, but not exactly the reason you are stating I guess. Like "maybe it's a typical thing Illwei to do" and yet voting on Illwei. I'm sorry I don't know why I but really feel the need to point this out, this looks like an arrow to the emoji's head xD Hmm, I see there is a Young rivalry :P. ;-; c'mon man. you want a pick up line? is that it? xD I've RPed in LG66 (which you should be able to remember) and I've started out RPing in Kas' previous game MR43 (see here) (which you wouldn't because you didn't play it). That game had cosmetic role too, so basically games with cosmetic role or incentive to RP, I do. Besides, you can't expect me not to when I've chosen such a fun role. I mean, I have a whole doc (granted it's only 1 pg rn) filled with pick up lines before the game! :P. Just to confirm, the second smaller RP post was because Illwei wanted someonetto post so she wouldn't have to double-post, cause I can see how the second post might look odd. Just catching tidbits that are likely to be from a village perspective, and this is a good point. Somewhere here is the Exp's analysis. He did something similar in LG71, and can't remember his alignment though I think he was village? But vote on Stick is...less than optimal At this point Quinn and Matrim are my strongest village read, and I'm back to reading Stick as vil. This entire post from Fifth reads good to me. But I'm wary of giving him a village read because he appeared extremely village initially in QF45, and just as I changed my read on him, he killed me. ;-; Are you a Coinshot, 'cause you're pushing me away! It doesn't matter 'cause I'llweit forever for you to come around :). [okay I know that's not the pronunciation but allow it smh] At this point I'm skimming over Illwei-Quinn arguments. They do this everyyy single gaaame xD smh you're supposed to be in love or something, just make up :P. lmaoo this is gonna be so hilarious to watch xD [i swearr if this is exactly what you are doing rn .... -_-] Absolutely horrible flashbacks to LG67 xD [context to Fifth, and everyone else returning - Ventyl claimed Edgedancer and I tunneled on him badly for claiming and voted him out and he flipped village :P] Okay, I slightly think Tani is overplaying the new player card, especially because they have played in forums before? Definitely feel like the clueless act is a bit over the top. TUO is very much lying beneath the surface. Okay I'm gonna have to stop here, because this is getting too long and I've got a match to watch. I have 4 more pages to catch up on. And I should be able to do that before the roll-over. Reads: Matrim: Seems solidly village, haven't seen anything out of what is norm for village!Matrim. Quinn: Points included above, but I feel more importantly, the retraction of Illwei's vote felt very genuine. Stick: Mindmelding on a lot of things including village reading Quinn and finding that sentence off Dannex suspicious. Tiiiny nagging feeling about Books' retraction as I didn't think she was tunneling at all. Hey, you're Stick and I could be Phosphorous. We'd be the perfect match! [Err, elims pls don't kill me because you've had enough of my jokes ._. Same goes to the Coinshot I guess xD] Fifth: Wary village, re: see above. Wary because Fifth is very good at appearing village. Gears: For the point for Striker being able to find the Smoker part in his role analysis. The basilisk has started to snake itself into my heart. Illwei: I feel like a lot of the points made about Illwei is not actually alignment indicative of her (which is what she's been arguing, but I agree with that). Changing votes in a post, jokingly claiming elim, joking that Quinn is elim, the whole argument thing with elim - everything has been done by her both as a village and an elim. Quinn claimed she could spot the differences between these, but I can't so I'm reading her as null. Curious about good reads on Books and Dannex, but other than that, not many specifically alignment indicative things. Wait. Are you a Smoker?? Because you seem to be Clouding my mind xD [I swear I spend more time on coming up these than reading the thread xD] Elim reads: Okay this has to be quick cause I really gotta goooo - Striker, TUO, Tani, Books and are feeling like elims because of the reasons already given. Mild elim on Maill. Okaaay be back in arouuund two hours? Quick Edit: Forgot Dannex. Dannex do be in mild elim pile.
  19. While on the the way back home, Fleur stumbles on a weird looking guy, who got kinda skittish when he got close to him. Merrick, yeah that's right. That was his name. Something odd about him. Situation felt kinda awkward with them just standing there, not saying a thing, so he felt he'd break ice with a joke. "Hey there, Merrick. You...you must be a kandra, because I kan(t)draw my eyes away from you, ha!" Fleur didn't even have time to blink as Merrick sprinted away as quickly as his legs could take him. "Huh, wonder what it was I said that was wrong"
  20. Well, let's get started shall we? Got a whole doc of stuff so that I don't forget a single thing Grooooaaaaannn. I had to choose the perfect time to visit Tremredare. Two murders in the one week he was here. This visit was supposed to be cheerful and fun, he would meet lots of lovely ladies of the Western Dominance, and maybe try his luck with them. Now the entire town was in panic mode. He watched the crowd slowly disperse as the two coppers? Detectives? He didn’t know what they were, but he was very much interested in them. Wyl and Kast, they were called. They looked more than just colleagues to him. A friendship, the kind where you don’t have to speak to each other for over a year and yet reconnect as you’ve never left. Possibly brothers, but they seem to shy away from acknowledging how important one is to the other. Some of the best stories he’d heard were about male friendships, so he’d be very much interested in observing how this would develop. He watched as they parted ways, Wyl leaving towards Mayor Wilson’s place, and Kast staying back, presumably to get the investigation started. He contemplated joining and introducing himself to Kast, but thought the better of it. Maybe now is not a good time. Old lad seems to have seen a ghost, it’s like he’s surrounded by dark clouds in overKast conditions. Got the whole gloomy aura going on. Ha! One day with me, and that’ll be gone. This cheery persona really tends to rub off on people. He’d still have to figure out a way to sneak and follow them, and figure out a way to indulge in the investigation before they could do the whole “Sir, please. You’re a civilian” lecture. He turned his attention to one of the houses as there was an old lady shouting her lungs out. Ah, Arenta! Who didn’t pay the rent this time? Do they not know not to anger her? Oh might as well. Old women or young, everyone deserves to laugh once in a while. He made his way across to Arenta’s house and stared up at her, who was still yelling at some poor soul. “Hey Arenta! Now now, don’t be yelling at me, you know I’ve always paid my dues on time! I just came on to say you look lovely as ever. Do tell me one thing though. How is it fair that I have to pay my rent, and yet, you get to live rent-free in my mind?” With that, he turned right around and started walking swiftly. He had no idea how she’d react and he hoped to be far away before she could register what he had said. Hopefully, she just chuckled, and that’d be it. Haven't caught up with the thread yet, as I was thinking of cheesy lines writing this RP. Will let out my thoughts about it later when I'm not busy chasing the ladies. :P.
  21. Noooooo, I had a story all set for Fleur to follow Kast around throughout the investigation and being pesky and annoying, and the more you tried to make it a depressing noir story, the more I'd try to make it a buddy cop comedy. And then you had to go kill him -.- I guess there's still Wyl remaining. So, where there's a Wyl, there's a way? (Or is it pronounced like - he's seems too evil and Wyl for me to buddy up to him?)
  22. Oh hey, sorta forget to comment here. @Sart, thanks for running the game! Enjoyed it thoroughly when I was alive, and got a little too indulged after I died, so pardon my ranting in the dead doc Also had a great time in the group PM Kas, Illwei, Striker, STINK and Burnt. As I said in the dead doc, this was probably the best game village solved non-mechanically. Well played elims! Pretty sure Devotary has set a record for having the final vote on all her teammates
  23. Fleur Tieste was visibly confused. He was just in the village to chat up some lads and lasses, maybe fall in love, finally settle down in life? (heh who am I kidding, I've got loads of love to share with the world). And now the occupants had decided they want to kill the lead investigator? Hmmm, suppose some of these would be from the killer's party to stunt the investigation. No matter, he liked old Kast, and he wanted to find the killer just as bad. Who'd be in the mood for romance when the whole town is anxious, yeah? Hmmmm, might as well flex my skills a bit, it's been a while. "HEY! Ain't no one be killing this old investigator here. We need the killer found quickly. And besides, I quite like him. You could say....he's Kast a spell on me. You touch him, and I'll send you back in a Kast." Mmmm, a tad rusty. Ain't causing any ladies to swoon with this. Need to finetune these skills...
