  1. I used the list in this thread (which doesn’t have numbers), and I was fairly sure it was within 1-2 of 24. And while it is kinda grasping at straws, at least there are actually straws to grasp Edit: of course this makes a new page.
  2. Araris’s thing is that he won’t take off his “stab votes” until the votee contributes something meaninful to the discussion, rather just an “I’m here!” post. Honestly, it was because there’s no numbers, and I couldn’t count the names while scrolling on mobile very well... my first count I’d gotten 23. Plus, I didn’t want to get jumped on because I said the wrong number... I’m going to be fishing for the next few hours, so I’ll probably be offline for then.
  3. You’re here! It could be, but unless they both targeted the same player I doubt a second identical role would counter-claim the first. @Straw, what info is given upon action success? Will players be notified if they are roleblocked or redirected? That might have been what someone tried to ask already, but it’s hard to scroll through to find it.
  4. I don’t even know if this is a likely possibility. The redirected killer would know that their kill didn’t hit the right person. And talking about it could just make a redirecter start puppet-mastering the Division user. Also, Radiants get a free PM with their Squires. So drastic miscommunication is unlikely, unless one is doing it delibrately.
  5. Anyone who claims Village Dustbringer (or Skybreaker) is going to have a LOT of actions thrown at them. Elim Kills, Progression Heals, Roleblocks, Redirects, and probably the real Dustbringer’s kill if applicable. In most circumstances, two players claiming identical roles will just get them both killed in some way. If a Village Dustbringer sees someone else claim their role, it might be easier to just not contest the claim and then kill the false claimer. Generally the first person to claim a role is believed first (until a lynch proves otherwise), and losing a Dustbringer is a lot worse than killing one (likely roleless) Elim. Also, the first night turn of LG13 ended with a Gravitation-boosted Elim kill preventing a Progression save. And later the Village Skybreaker Gravitation-boosted their Division kill to get rid of an outed Elim who had been Squired with Abrasion. So if the strategy stays similar I think Grav-boosting kills might be fairly common. So, bad analysis means an elim lean? Remember that Gears is new to roles, and even older players mess up on strategies. Plus different players will use the same roles in many different ways. I feel like for judging analysis, it might be better to see which roles are more or less analyzed. IE if someone doesn’t make any analysis (or makes noncommital analysis, way too much analysis, etc) for, say, Windrunners, then someone dies as an Elim Windrunner, that could be AI. Or it could mean that they are the Windrunner.
  6. I feel like a scanner could just PM someone they scanned Village and forgo the whole chain thing. Might be a good Lightweaver strategy.
  7. Seeing as that’s exactly what Elim!Ventyl did to me D1 of LG66, yes, yes it does. He may have a point, however: many surges, mainly Gravitation, need you have some idea of who’s using what surges to be of any use. I still wouldn’t recommend claiming, especially D1, but, for example, a Village Windrunner would be much more potent when he could use Gravitation on the Dustbringer. Edit: triple ninja’d. Storm it. Don’t have time to edit this, however.
  8. Elbereth - isn’t that how poke votes usually work? At least to see if people have things to say and contribute? I also don’t really like PM planning, mainly because it really backfired on me last game. Although it’s probably better than randomly firing protection. Scans are probably more useful, although alignment vs role is debatable. Ventyl - I... uh... well, I was right, wasn’t I? I also specifically tried to avoid it in the QF, but the entire rest of my team voted on you... let’s just say that Faleast will be very confused if he re-meets Pyria or Lafay after removing them in the LG. I’m holding my vote until something more suspicious pops up, and when I have time to partially analyze.
  9. Aye to that. It’s a bit odd to poke vote someone who’s already posted D1... as far as I can see. But I don’t think I like the D1 lynch anyways (thanks, Pyro...) Word on Dustbringer vs Skybreaker: don’t be afraid to kill who you suspect, but also don’t forget you have other surges. Skybreakers it could be nice to keep 2 stormlight charges on hand unless you have solid suspicions, as you can combine Gravitation+Division for an essentially unblockable kill for when you REALLY need it. Dustbringers can be a bit more free with their Division, methinks, although keeping an Abrasion charge to avoid a kill could be useful. And the problem with constantly keeping a PM open is that the two Illumination roles (Truthwatcher and Lightweaver) have really useful other surges. Truthwatchers protect, Lightweavers scan. LG13 there was an Elim Windrunner, I believe.
  10. Aye. I can’t actually see the color grid right now...
  11. The only acceptable solution is to have Xino and Gears have a semi-metaphorical battle to the death over who can better analyze the static facts of the game to give each role the best chance of success. Meanwhile, I shall continue to steal the role analysis already done in LG13.
  12. Wow. Nice set of role analysis! There are 24(ish) players in the game. I think that means that there will be 10-11 Radiants, probably one of each Order, with a few (2-3) in the hands of the Diagram-ists. I don’t really want to do role analysis as to which Orders we can see as good or bad, except that I doubt the Elims have a Dustbringer or Skybreaker. I will say, from what I can see from the original run of this game, Radiants should be very careful about who they Squire. Elsecallers/Lightweavers should scan tonight and find someone’s alignment, then try to squire them if they’re Village. Other Village Radiants should go for who they think is loyal, but be very careful, especially for Dustbringer/Skybreaker roles where a misplaced squiring could give the Elims an extra kill. If Gears or Xino don’t beat me too it I’ll try to make recommendations for Surge priority for the Radiants. Kinda like Matrim, I’m on vacation for the next week. I’ll try to be active, but being only on mobile means large analysis posts will be somewhat difficult. I also don’t know if I’ll be able to be on exactly at rollover, but I should be okay approximately.
  13. Poller grabbed 5 empty vials and filled them with the large tin drums. They had premade vials, but filling them on request seemed more... professional. “Yup, 90 chrysts,” he said, making the exchange. And he’d given a tip! That was fairly uncommon for the gruff Alleyverse citizens. “Thank you for doing business with us!” Poller said. “Would you like one of Ms. Adama’s business cards?”
  14. Cool. I’m just going to try it more linear-ly, so Faleast is keeping his Nicroburst spike, and if he becomes a Radiant he’ll keep that, and so on and so on, collecting random bits of Investiture like a certain other white-haired man we all know... Although I may generate a Bloodmaker spike just so I can justify him taking a Shardblade to the face... I just want it to be more clear that Faleast is acting “undercover” and mostly won’t be RP’ing as a mostly-unkillable Kandra. Unless he gets to kill things. That’s AraRaash’s department.
  15. ^ Hey, I know that guy! Since my character being amalgamated by a kandra gives me an excuse, Faleast will probably be my dedicated LG character. So he’ll probably technically “survive” anything that gets thrown at him (unless he ends up in Odium’s crosshairs or something), but he’ll behave and play dead if “killed” in game. That should be fairly obvious (and allowed, I hope) OOC, but just letting you all know in case that doesn’t really work. Plus it’s really quiet right now and I’m bored.
  16. You could also do immune to all kills for a turn, so that they can’t get double-hit in one turn (although I don’t know if that’s actually a risk here), or let duralumin-Pewter give a second extra life, for that turn or permanently at the expense of the duralumin.
  17. “Sure thing!” Poller replied, glad to have a simpler order to fulfil. He briskly walked over to the bracer display and grabbed a gleaming chromium one. He liked having to move, to not just be standing at a counter all day, trying to stay awake. “One chromium bracer is 75 chrysts. Tin is 4 - no, wait, 3 chrysts per vial, 30 for a jar, which is about 15 vials worth. How much do you want?”
  18. Granted. The device is a one-way transporter to the nearest bowling alley. I wish for Allomantic Cadmium.
  19. “Very well, I’ll meet you there!” Cassie replied, than left the building.
  20. “Yeah, I’m alright,” Poller replied tiredly, holding on to his bronze with all his might, tapping to stay awake. He wasn’t sure if he tap away the fit entirely, but he could hold it off while there were customers. “I just got... dizzy,” he finished. “If you want to put an official order for a Soulcasting, put down a date and time on the sheet of paper over there,” he said, pointing to a sheet of paper on the main desk. “Ms. Adama will set it up as an appointment. And Anarchist, your order will come to... 60 chrysts, I believe.” He had just got the kris and bullets bundled together when another customer came in the building. Poller turned toward the door. “Welcome to Cassandra Adama’s Metalurgic Emporium! We can supply any metals, whether-” Another wave of exhaustion hit him. Ah, forget it. “What can I do for you?”
  21. Tyrian stared. Then he breathed in, draining almost all his remaining Stormlight, and any other sources that would happen to be nearby. He stoked his chromium, readied his Division, and snarled. Cinder vibrated in agreement. “Perhaps we should discover who should be serving who,” he bellowed, then unsheathed a sickle and launched himself toward the armored madman.
  22. The parmesan or the multitasking?
  23. Ferocity: Blockade: Intercession (would like an OK/opinion on this one): Gyroto: Edit: Below are mostly scrapped Epics/ones I may bring in later/random ideas I had. For now above are the ones I'll use... and Ferocity, because I'm still pretending he won't be banned.
  24. “I do have a stop I’d like to make on the way,” Cassie said. “I have a letter I want delivered, and I don’t really want to use the post for it. It shouldn’t take long.”
