    I remember there was a r/BrandonSanderson thread where someone reading through Mistborn predicted that Vin would shoot someone important with her earring. The comments were essentially 90% “Well, we don’t want to Ruin it for you...”

    That was me reading WoR. I kinda knew it was Shallan's book, but I got really excited with Jasnah's prologue and thought we would get some of her flashbacks. There was so much there: the Elsecallers, the reverse shadow, "Liss" the assassin, inkspren... And then she DIED. And then she UN-DIED. And then I learned that JASNAH'S FLASHBACK BOOK IS BOOK EIGHT. ... YKYASFW you watch your brother read the climax of HoA to see what his reaction is to the earing. (It wasn't as dramatic as I was hoping...)

    I'm going to change my character to AraRaash, or in this case AraRaashe (or just Raashe). Same kandra-Cognitive mixture person but AraRaash(e) will be the dominant personality. Maybe I can RP with Straw's Shao about having multiple personalities.

    Ooooh, I'm doing this. Whether as Faleast or not I'll think about for a while, as he may be busy on Sel and he technically shouldn't exist. (Although if it's before Era 1 Mistborn, it could still be after the Lord Ruler's Ascension, so AraRaash could be around...) Are the "Village"/non-infiltrators from Silverlight and the "Elims"/infiltrators from Ashyn? Or the other way around? Or PAFO? Edit: and shouldn't this be pinned?

    Tyrian stared at Silas. The man had been trying to kill him about ten minutes ago, and now wanted to have a drink with him. "I'll have a Red. Rosharian." Might as well see what this man had to show him.

    "Gotcha!" Poller yelled back as he ran into the storeroom. He slapped a light switch, watching several dusty lightbulbs illuminate shelves upon shelves of metals. Luckily aluminum was the closest shelf. It was generally in high demand. There were five large sheets left, then a large crate of ingots below it. Poller hesitated, then grabbed all five and an extra ingot, then ran back outside toward the customer. "I think these should-" Suddenly the metal flew out of his hands onto the floor. It was like an Ironpull... except it was aluminum? He didn't have time for this. He picked up the aluminum - which still moved strangely, at least for a moment - and offered it toward the customer. "Should this be enough?"

    Cassandra stared at the wooden spikes. They were long, and surprisingly sharp for a set of wood. And they could only serve one purpose. Well, a deal was a deal, she supposed. "Wow. It'll take a while, but I think I can manage it," she said, pulling up her sleeve to expose her Soulcaster more. Then she reached into one of her pockets and pulled out a long, fused metal bar that served as her sample. "Odd shape for a metalmind," she said disarmingly, as she begun shifting the first set of spikes into steel.
