  1. I never thought I’d see the day where TLPW could potentially be locked... ...why is my brain already preparing a eulogy for the worst case scenario
  2. Which is why they wore gongproof or bellproof clothing. Huh, I’m back! To the forum games, anyway.
  3. “That’s what it does best,” Salad replied. “Wait, who are you?”
  4. Salad poked their head back into TST to see what was going on.
  5. It’s my least favourite TP dungeon, but the absolute glee I felt upon getting that item made it all worth it.
  6. Cosmere characters as Whose Line Is It Anyway prompts! (Never watched the show, but it was fun assigning characters to prompts) Featuring more bad drawings, this time with 80% less effort!
  7. “Er, do you think we can go inside?” Avren asked the group standing outside the tower.
  8. Avren gave Ara a small nod and followed her and Cara down the hill towards the tower. The looters were retreating, much to his relief. Only a few dead, which wasn't thrilling, but it was better than he had initially expected. A fresh wave of panic washed over him as he remembered the dead-but-not-dead man, and realised he could no longer sense him. Maybe... maybe that meant he'd left? No, of course he wouldn't have. Avren did have to admit, however, that the man's behaviour was a little erratic. Appearing to the group one moment and then vanishing the next? What could it mean?
  9. “That’s okay,” Avren said. His face grew distant. “I know that feeling too...”
  10. Random writing update that no one asked for: I managed to derail my own derailment when I was supposed to be writing another cosmere crossover fic by deciding instead to write Adolin, Shallan and Kaladin playing Mario Kart/Smash Bros, but as soon as I sat down my brain was like “no, you’re writing Ruin and Preservation in couples counselling”. Storming brain, this is why I never finish anything :P

Adaptivity is not a bad trait, but just like everything else, too much of something can lead to less than ideal results.

Just a comment on the story proper:

Mariokart all the way. I once found a list of the 100 best Video Game villains. Near the top, you've got Bowser, Ganondorf, GLaDOS... and at #1 is "your friends in Mariokart."

  11. This is awesome! I really like the song choice, and the art looks great! (also this introduced me to your YouTube channel so it’s time to binge some cosmere animatics )
  12. Avren turned to look as shouts erupted from the base of the hill, his fears momentarily forgotten. It was a whirlwind of fighting, and he could see Val, Minuet and Orpheus right in the middle of it all. “I’m sorry, I... should go,” he said to Xeus, before dashing down the hill. Halfway down, he began to slow. What could he even do? He couldn’t fight like that, and — Ara. He ran the rest of the way down to her, fighting to ignore his growing nausea at the rising death count. That was a problem for later. As he reached her, he hesitated. How was he supposed to help? He’d spent most of his recent life avoiding people, not comforting them. Ara stared straight ahead at the fighting, though her eyes seemed distant. “Um, Ara?” He asked, feeling foolish. Why couldn’t he do anything to help? “Are you okay?”
  13. “Who are you, anyway?” Avery asked, trying to change the subject.
  14. I don’t know when this happened, but @AonEne I’m an Enefel! *trips you*

  15. Maybe he wants to do it in secret. He’ll say it was an accident. Or maybe he’s waiting for everyone to be together... He snapped back into the conversation. Son? Surely this man wasn’t much older than he was. “Not really,” Avocado said, the admission reminding him how easy it would be for the others to... “Who are you?” he asked, to steer his mind away from those thoughts.
  16. “I’m—” Avren stopped himself, noticing his curt tone. With an even voice, he continued. “I’m fine, thank you.” Should he go seek out the transparent man? No, that was foolish. Actually, where was he? Avren scanned the trees, but couldn’t see him anymore. He probably went off to tell someone. It was only a matter of time now.
