  1. They seem to be using the term anti-investiture as if it meant investiture-proof tho
  2. Well, that one's a proof, and kind of destroy my "she only add" theory (unless Glys is of War and no one realized it, but that seems unlikely) Also, back on the original subject, Rlain using warlight: possible or not?
  3. The first advance could also be the initial creation of a continent on Roshar, or the takeover by Honour and Cultivation
  4. This doesn't prove that all enlightened Truthwatchers sprens were sapient and willing, just that Mistspren are the easiest sapient spren to enlighten (also the enlightenment part kind of add to my "she only add" hypothesis) That's funny, I was thinking that giving fate-immunity to numerous people would be story-breaking and therefore not something Brandon would do often All surges except adhesion have a simple voidbinding equivalent (and Sja-Anat managed to corrupt enlighten so even that's not a problem), so there should be any fundamental problem about enlightening a Cryptic. I still get the feeling Renarin's fit and fate-immunity are his order-specific power and that enlightened Cryptics would give the malatium-like light Renarin used on Vyre but not fate-immunity, but it's just me extrapolating quite far on the reason WoR said Truthwatcher's silence was actually tact (I'm imagining they get fits like Renarin, but about the present instead of the future)
  5. He looks like a crystal instead of an iridescence in the physical realm which is a bigger change than any other corrupted spren. Also we've seen a corrupted mistspren and it was of War, not of Odium. Granted, Tumi could be a special thing but I get the feeling Sja is more about adding than transforming (to grant sapience to a lesser spren you have to give then a substantial amount of investiture) and the amount of investiture you have to add to a greater spren in order to change it's nature would be enormous. But of course all of this is just my theory. Do you have a refrence/wob? I remember Tumi being willing but not Glys and the wiki says Glys don't really remember. (also I think you meant "only two corrupted Truthwatchers" because we've seen uncorrupted Truthwatchers who's ability by the way prove the theory that Renarnin is a Voidbinder and the Fused are Surgebinders is true but that's another topic)
  6. I don't know if what the singers did was unmaking major sprens, but they definitely did something, probably something of same magnitude as the recreance
  7. Windspren are not sapient, but corrupted Windsprens are (we've heard two speak in Sja-Anat's interlude), since Glys don't look like a Mistspren I assume he was a non-sapient spren that was given sapience by Sja, a Truthwatcher Shardplate spren is the most obvious canditate for a non-sapient spren with access to both progression and illumination. Also in case there was any confusion, I'm not assuming Mistprens are Truthwatcher Shardplate spren
  8. Folorian was taken out of the trance by the noise of a 30 years-old maple tree growing in about ten seconds "You've really outdone yourself there, Aln" "And now she need some of your light" Recognizing Pel's voice, he walked to Alanis and breath half of his stormlight out on her @Rushu42
  9. Aln found a man under a beam and seems to have forgotten you cannot use soulcasting Tell her I'm coming to see if I can help moving the beam, and that I can't soulcast It wasn't like her to forget these kind of thing, the destruction of the guild's building must'ev been weighting on her more than he had though.
  10. Folorian started searching for bodies in the rubbles, an exercise that, considering his curse, could only be described as "easier than it seems" Kerr, go see Aln... Already doing that, it is not the first time we're doing the spren switch to bypasses our curses Thanks. He then said to Pel, who he assumed would be watching him, "I'm only finding dead people for now, I'll continue searching." *** Nullblade had now removed most of the rubble on the woman head and chest. At least, enough to check her vitals, which as far as he could tell were good, she was breathing and her heart was beating and but wasn't a doctor to know whether she was breathing and beating right. As he wasn't sure she was conscious or not he started giving her small slaps on the cheeks in hope of waking her. @Random Bystander
  11. I bet corrupted windspred would give the voidbinding equivalent of adhesion and gravitation (Odium seems to think the former doesn't exists, but I think he's just plain wrong) We've seen Dreaming-though-Awake talk in RoW so mistsprens are definitely sapients. For Renarin's spren I imagine it's the corrupted version of the spren Truthwatchers use for their plates
  12. Navani can create Towerlight so it'd be stupid if she could not use it Also it's nearly impossible Rlain won't be able to use Warlight for... whatever he'll be doing (Warbinding? both Surge and Voidbinding? All three? Renarin is definitely using Voidbinding with his fully corrupted but I'm not sure what a half corrupted spren will do), he'll probably also be able to use both Storm and Voidlight but it's more of a conjecture
  13. Yes for bronze and yes for copperclouds. As seekers can hear the rhythms, probably yes for Preservation's Rhythm Actually, A-bronze and A-copper have a lot of additional applications when out of Scadrial
  14. They said multiple times during RoW that the binding BAM had horrible effects on the spiritual realm, I'm pretty sure deadeyes are just one of them. Also, the raod happened centuries after the splintering of Dominion and Devotion, what triggered it was was a change in the landscape big enough to change how people see the land's form (-> a big change in the cognitive real, which since we're on Sel could have similar effect as a change in a spiritual realm would have in other worlds) Side thought, another place were we've seen people can "die wrong" was just confirmed to have a butchered spiritual realm (Threnody)
  15. We should ask for precision sometime, it's pretty likely some members of the 17th shard are full feruchemists. I mean how old is Kriss again?
  16. (pretty sure it's the latter though)
  17. "That guy wanted to rape and and kill an adolescent girl" is not the worst justification for killing someone Also yes, he probably had some character development after Secret history Feruchemist or ferring? Also as of the main topic, Kelsier is a chromium compounder, it's likely he has both a decent idea of who he should and shouldn't kill and know using Fortune is unreliable especially around people like Hoid or Renarin, so him saying "do touch Lift unless she go directly against us, she's part of Cultivation's plan to peace out Odium" makes sense
  18. I don't think reviving Mara would be enough to make Adolin a Radiant, I think the bound between tehm would just be a stronger version of the normal shardblade-user bound and not a Nahel bound and while I think Adolin will probably be able to form a Nahel bound with her it's because he's already acting like a decent Edgedancer. A Skybreaker with Taravangian as their third oath would have no problem doing that, and if Jasnah really thought she had to do it I think she would (remember her plan for the Herald in Oathbringer?)
  19. I meant Autonomy
  20. Honour and and Odium have proven their intent didn't clashed And was considered a god before LR's rule. But as OP said he was a lot of different things so it may not be the same person now and then Also @Attentea, I think your theory is wrong for a few reasons: Harmony said in RoW that some of the shards he didn't talk too (Autonomy was one of these iirc) were influencing Scadrial, Hoid said to Kel to fix his world and Sanderson originally intended for Mistborn era 2 to take place before tWoK
  21. Still removing the rubles, NullBlade replied "Not really, and never without a big build up making sure everyone know hell is about to rain." @Scarletfox
  22. I remember there was a way to do it without downloading the image but at least it that way works, thanks
  23. I've clicked "copy image" and pasted it, the image is put in the text editor but disappears when I submit it
  24. @I Am A Fish I've definitely not forgotten how images work on the website
  25. We're still forgetting one important thing here : there was not two radiants awake, there was three, and Venli was not even at her second oath and she could use both of her surges, admittedly she never used the part of transportation that require stormlight and only used voidlight to power cohesion but if we consider the reason Lift could still use lifelight to power progression is because it's the pure surge of Cultivation this implies that cohesion is the pure surge of Odium.
