"Withering seems like a natural process to me, and we've seen sprens unique to the Alleyverse -the one that started the Alleystorm for example- so that's not completely out of the table. There's also the possibility of someone having modified a spren with access to progression or improved a deathspren, either way anyone with access to Transportation should be able to tell if my hypothesis is valid.

The shopkeeper seemed overwhelmed by the situation, which made sense: not everyone would flinch if someone in aluminium chainmail with two sword and someone looking for explosives casually talked about mind control epic and people trying to stab them. "I'm called NullBlade. If you really need my real name I can give it, but I'd rather not." Keeping his name secret was not as important in the Alleyverse as it had been on Earth since people were be less prone to go attack the family as a retribution when it was on the wrong world, but he still preferrerd it.

Using Progression on dead plants? Folorian had heard of tales of Edgedacers reviving newly dead people, but it was probably just tales and as far as he knew Aln was not able to do it. "I don't see how it could help but then again I don't see how it could backfire, so go ahead if you want."

"This is not what I need" NullBlade said as he rolled up his left sleeves, revealing an aluminium bracelet a bit above his wrist with two nail-like aluminium spikes planted in it. @kenod has two characters that are always together (KanMien and Kumiko) and both have almost 150 index points so I guess it doesn't work that way On the index a warder bound cost 15 for the channeller and 5 for the warder so I'd guess you're creating two characters with a total of 150 points each but we'll need the input of the mods to be sure @MysticLotus@Sorana@Voidus@I think I am here.

As they got near the deadspot, Folorian's focus shifted away from his companions and toward the dead plants, he stored memories of them to find out their races later and then shifted his focus back to Aln and Dr. Gears just in time to hear that the bacteria seemed dead "The circle seems to perfect to be natural, I'd bet this was either intentional or caused by a type of investiture I've never heard about" @Rushu42@Gears

Folorian tossed his mask near where Aln had tossed her, doing so put his concentration away from the conversation and he didn't hear what Dr Gear said. NullBlade entered the shop, back in his usual clothes and aluminium chainmail, he spend a bit of time examining the various good the the shop offered, he found odd that lead had the same price as silver but he didn't know much about the price of metals out of aluminum anyway. The aluminium armour interested him but his savantism already cost him an important amount of money each month so he might not have the founds to do it, and this shop didn't directly offer what he was searchinh for so he didn't know how much it would be. Although he already had the mails, maybe they would make a discount if he only brought the plates? He walked toward the shopkeeper. "Hello mister, I assume you are not Cassandra Adama?" You never knew, there was places where Morgana was an appropriate male name, so why not Cassandra?

From a world not connected to the Alleyverse? But then how had him got here? Links between Alleyverse and other words where an oddity, there where no other known permanent link between world, some Epics open temporal links between "close" worlds but that's it. Folorian had never found any conclusive proof about whether they had always been there, if they appeared naturally later in the life of a world or if they where artificial, maybe Dr. Gear just had stumbled on link that had just started forming, or had failed to form, or maybe it was the remain of a what was a full link aeons ago. "Most planet's are like at first, and then one day you some people obtain powers and a few decades later people act like they had always been there. You mentioned that your world was not connected to the Alleyverse, do you have any idea of how you came here despite that issue?"
