  1. Progression is two different powers Growth and Regrowth and Renarin only managed to use one of them, and as I said he's using it differently than Lift. Yeah that's a fair point Vivenna thought the same of Awakening Yes
  2. This is not a straight contradiction, Enlighted sprens have been artificially modified so they're no longer a natural out growth of human perception. Brandon said before radiants started swearing oaths they had access to a weaker form of Nahel bound so I assume Voidbinders will have some equivalent to the Oaths but in a more Odium way; Glys once asked Renarin to take his pain so it might be that. Seems not very bissful to me. I was probably wrong about chaotic though. I'm not saying he's lying, I'm saying he's wrong. How would you cultivate something if you can't keep it alive? Why do you say that? I'd understand if you said Rlain was some kind of Twinborn and not a Warbinder but Renarin's spren is clearly different than Rlain's, Tumi apear as a blue cristal soldier while Glys apear as a floting red crystal. It's not. And we know it consumes lives, do we know it also consumes souls?
  3. Usually being an important word Wait, Neragoul cause emotional bliss? Seemed more like emotional chaos to me. Also Arshertmarn can also create illusion and more importantly the Diagram state all unmade can give some level of foresight, Moelach being the best at this. And Sja enlighten, she doesn't corrupt. Except he was wrong, Honour and Cultivation cares. Except we're talking about humans, we also need other things, connexion to others for exemple. Also you're talking about 6 and 4 but you had only shown the 6 I don't know who said that but they obviously didn't watch the chart for long enough. Voids are Honour's surges but centrally symetric instead of vertically symetric, it's not always the left side that's flipped, for Adhesion the central symetry was done on the oposite side compared to the one the vertical symetry was done, for Division, Progression and Tension the center of symetry is inside the rightmost of leftmost bar and you need a bit more defformation for Gravitation, Abrasion and even more for Transformation. So I'm finding a 3-3-3-1 motif, you could argue that I'm separating a bit too much and it's actually a 7-3 or a 6-3-1 motif with the three being Gravitation, Abrasion and Transformation and the one being Adhesion. Also, about Adhesion being weird, I guess the Voids are the basis of lifes then we're assuming they only works for living things? The wierd flip could mean they only have Void sipritual Adhesion and not Void physical Adhesion? It'd mean corrupted windsprens cannot control wind which would be weird. Did you mean six and four? If not I'm having trouble following you. Welllllll, actually it's probably either a side effect more than Void or restricted to V-Truthwachers or V-Truthwachers and V-Boundsmiths. My argument for the first is that we've seen Renarin's power have malatium effects twice, when he used illumination on Moash at the begining of RoW but also when he healed Adolin's wrist at the begining of Oathbringer (the same scene he's shown to have made a blade) and I think we can agree there's no reason he'd be accidently using Illumination at that moment. Of course there's still the possiblity that future sight is an effect of Progression and his Malatium-light effect on Moash was actually a fusion V-Illumination and V-Progression My argument for Foresight being locked to certain orders comes for the chart, every orders except V-Truthwachers and V-Boundsmiths are linked to their surges with purple lines, these two are on a a rubis linked to surges by lightnings; this implies their voids works differently than with the other orders, like what happen with H-Boundsmiths. Also that chart kind of makes me think to an eyes of which the ruby would be the iris. Dakor is end-positive, did you mean Hemalurgy? In Renarin's hand.
  4. To be fair the Cosmere scholars don't have access to virtually infinite amount of fortune, connexion an mental speed
  5. "Wasing the having the eyes of steel? Is this a High Imperial expression I don't know about or are you mocking our blind companion?"
  6. "She meant with the gold compounder"
  7. I've just checked and Dalinar said Ishi had created the oathpact. First, look closely at the voidbind chart, how many orders do you see? The fused are not voidbinders, they're surgebinders. And the only reason they're 9 is either because Honour hadn't created adhesion when Odium made them or because Odium didn't want them to have adhesion. Isn't the different dawnshard just Hoid's former one? The one that was related to the first gem, the gem Frost say died. If the Stormfather or Dalinar have a dawnshard it's almost certain it'll be Unite (and since Danwshard are a commend, it can't be "Connection" it'd have to be "Connect") And I'm pretty sure the reason Dalinar's surgebinding is stronger is just because the Stormfather is composed of a lot more investiture than Syl
  8. Both sword steel and shadblade metal are allomantically viable, gold healing heals shadblade wound and allomancers can burn metal from anywhere in their bodies so... I hope the radiant got more than one shardblade. Probably doesn't work for same reason Vin couldn't burn Sazed's idon'trememberwhat mind. Also gold compounders can survive being decapitated and be back in the fight in seconds Wait what? Was that confirmed by Brandon? (also, in case it's a theory based on RoW, we're in the wrong subforum) Wasn't that just progression? Pretty sure his resonance is his visions.
  9. Also, am I the only one who remember Rlain commented he felt something weird when he first transformed to warform? They're probably not ace in dullform too. Singers seems to be "no sex drive" ace, Rlain could be "disgusted by the idea of sex" ace, I see no reason mateform would change that. And being both constantly aroused and squeaked would definitely count as a weird thing happening. Are we sure he's not talking about Renarin? He confirmed he had a crush on Rlain and I don't know if it was before or after the WoB you quote.
  10. Kal sees Syl as his annoying little sister, as much as I'd like to see it Syladin won't happen. Kaladin is trying to heal madness both natural and superatural so that part should be a problem. High level cosmere healing can change gender so the Malen body part shouldn't be a problem. Leshwi defected to Honour, Vyre's relationship with her from now on will either be "Die, traitor" or "I will bring you peace" It's unlikely Voidlight will be a problem, much like Stormlight was not a problem for Moash. And yeah, Leshwi going anyway near Ishi would be very stupid.
  11. Wait, she did? When?
  12. But Harmony could be separated in too shards and it'd be very hard to separate them differently than Preservation and Ruin Also, mixed to are not a simple blend of the two Destructive interference of sound is really not same thing as matter-antimatter annihilation. The former happen even if the waves are just passing through each other without interacting while the latter is an interaction, which mean it happens after a random time that's long enough for compound like positronium to exist (an exotic atom formed of an electron and one positron) No. First people would definitely be able to see the difference between a steel sword and a cast iron sword because cast iron is much less dense than steel (between 6-7 for cast iron and between 7.8-7.9 for steel, this is because cast iron contain much more carbon than steel). Second neither iron, steel nor most version of cast iron are brittle unless you specifically made them to be that way. And brittle is a qualification of how the material is destroyed when you put to much strength on them: glass is brittle so it breaks iron is not so it tears, it's not a scale. Maybe you meant iron is easier to dent? Third steel and iron have basically the same density. Of course this don't actually contradict your point, most people will not see the difference between two types of steel. Taravangian? What is that "form" your talking about?
  13. Fixed, thanks
  14. That fabrial yes, but every other ones? The cohesion fabrial making doors was definitely working on Stormlight. And a key missing some teeth still open the door, it's a key with too much teeth that don't. Which does imply Light of Three wouldn't power normal fabrials.
  15. SA
  16. When someone eventually try to court Lift
  17. On the other hand stormlight can make the Sibling fabrials work Tumi. Also you can have fabrials made of sprens mostly aligned to Cultivation with stormlight, like heating fabrials.
  18. If even if shards not using Dawnshard is indeed an agreement they made, there's both a Dawnshard that can "bind men, singers and Gods" and a man called Binder of Gods on Roshar
  19. If they're modifying the land to modify the people, wouldn't that be a fisher-kingdom and not fisher-king?
