Endowment’s almighty magic system (Dawnshard spoilers)
mathiau replied to Koloss17's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Patji isn't responsible for the magic on 1st of the dawn, nor it's perpendicularity. Everything was there when he came- 52 replies

Endowment’s almighty magic system (Dawnshard spoilers)
mathiau replied to Koloss17's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I think Brandon RAFO'd whether a shard going to another planet would create a new magic system, it seems impossible it wouldn't though- 52 replies

Endowment’s almighty magic system (Dawnshard spoilers)
mathiau replied to Koloss17's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I remember reading wobs saying this but I can't find them. At least they don't create the balanced magic systems like Feruchemy (by the way, he confirmed they happened every time there was two shards on the same world, have we asked him whether Rlain is a voidbinder or a warbinder? his spren is blue instead of red if I recall correctly) and Saze couldn't remove hemalurgy. On the other hand, Lera did alter what type of misting could happen, and it's almost impossible Saze didn't create ferrings and Edgil didn't voluntarily give Nathians breaths- 52 replies

Ah, I once again confused Ish and Kelek. My point is that if the "of truth" title is misplaced, why would the "of kings" not misplaced, giving us no reason to assume Kaladin will be king? Ok, that makes sense. I still assume a Dawnshard stored in a mural like OP is supposing for the Survive one would work the same as the Change one, but it could be different for Dalinar's hypothetical one

Then tomorrow, you'll have your upvotes back

I found a wob saying Odium's colour is actually gold, voidlight being purple must be something else
-
Just do a reread in a few days
-
... I seem to have confused Battar and Pailiah I distinctly remember Kalak being called Herald of Truth, it's the reason he's allowed to judge humanity. And yes, the Herald of Truthwatchers is not the one called Herald of Truth, because even if the orders are similar to their Heralds, they are not the same (there's a reason the order of Stoneward was noted to be the most similar to their Herald). Windrunners are leaders, but it's not the same as rulers. Er... the scene where Rysn become a Dawnshard in about five seconds? Oh! you meant becoming a new Dawnshard? I doubt it'd be possible but heh why not.
-
Yes, but Kelek is the Herald of Truth, not Batah. He can't be becoming a Dawnshard, becoming a Dawnshard is a matter of seconds, either Dalinar is a Dawnshard (which would makes sense since 'Unite' is probably on of them) or he is not

Do we know if that's true? She spoked to human in human form but she also seems to speak to singers in (femalen) singer form so it could just be her using a form her interlocutor will find comfortable.
-
Do you mean, fan depictions or official depictions?
-
If find it very intriguing he goes with gold despite his colour almost certainly being purple (it's the colour of voidlight and when you compare the voidbinding chart and the surgebinding chart, the only order that change colour is the windrunner one, going from blue to purple)

Folorian entered the room and scanned it for persons, trying to count seconds despite not being able to feel them. One Mississippi, two Mississippi. Having found Alanis, and deduces from her posture she was writing something, he went to her and looked at what she was writing. "You're witting what you remember of the other reality?" he said and lightwove at the same time. @Rushu42@Ashbringer

I"m pretty sure he does that every time he speaks to Venli on Oathbringer. This extrait is from chapter 116

I don't think there's evidence countering the idea that Tanavast was a dragon, and the surgebinding chart does picture dragons in the background, and it's likely dragons avoid relationship with humans due to the life expectancy difference. But it's still possible Tanavast was a human, especially if they only became a couple after they knew they'd become immortal or if he had already archive immortality in another way before meeting her. And Odium could appear as a singer, we can't really use the appearance of vessels to guess their races.

I'm pretty sure it's not confirmed Honour can create planets, neither Ruin nor Preservation could. Also, I'm Christian so I have very high standards for "worthy of worship", endorsed by an omniscient omnipotent omnipresent being is the minimum. And shards clearly don't have that.
-
To be fair, yes.
-
There is indeed Bleeder was not using investiture There is a possibility that burning Trellium would hide from shard though. But I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that lerasium spikes would connect less to Ruin than normal spikes so it could just be something similar (couldn't find wobs though)

I've read them, petty doesn't even begin to describe them. The lameness of Greeks and Romans's gods always bugged me, that along the fact that we still make glorious retailing of the tales of these rapists.

They have not even archived self-control, how could they be worthy of any kind of worship? And yes, most gods in fiction are straight out jokes.
