This thread is 2 years old @Xernathamics, check the date before posting on a thread. However, Prof, TLR, and steelheart beat obliteration, you just have to grab him, then hit him until he dies. steelheart beats TLR. However, atium wouldn't help against Obliteration, as his danger sense would counter it out, like another Atium burner.

This is the WoB that talks about this: So unless there has been a new one, it is talking about Wax. "A little while" is while he is constantly fighting at the forefront of an outnumbered, surrounded force, against enemy's that are in a form specifically made for war, using battle axes, as well as having developed methods of breaking shardplate?

I do think that Moash is evil, or at least being heavily influenced by Odium, but he has shown zero interest in taking revenge on Elhokar's family, he completely ignored Elhokar's son. Also, Odium took away his "pain" which is really just all of his emotions, including lust. Added to this, Moash has admitted that Dalinar is good, for a lighteyes, and that makes him less likely to want to do that. However, we don't really have much info on how bad Moash is going to be, so either of us could be wrong. I don't want to start an tangential argument, so, agree to disagree?
-
1. He could have used it to heal and increase his reflexes, just not used lashings. 2. Yes, I guess this is true 3. I disagree, Elhokar did, in his incompetency, cause his grandparents death. I could see Moash killing her, but not abusing her. I was talking more about stormlight healing with it, he doesn't need to summon it.

That is Wax, he has vindication, and is a Coinshot/iron ferring, able to push on the bullets to give them extra momentum, even increasing his weight to give himself super pushes. Most people couldn't crack it that easily.

You guys are still doing this? *looks on disapprovingly* also: Definitely, absolutely, 100% spoilers for All the books, not lying at all.

362. if you are given the choice between a sword or a modern firearm, choose the sword, a gun is always useless against the bad guy minions, let alone the man himself, while swords will chop through high-tier minions left and right, even giving you a chance against the big baddie himself. This rule is doubly true if you are in a movie.

It was good writing, but there are little inconsistent from the books: 1. Kaladin can summon syl and draw in stormlight without alerting screamers, they only notice after he uses it in some way. 2. Kaladin is most likely trained in women's care, he studied anatomy and surgery thoroughly, but he most likely doesn't have much practical experience. 3. This is my biggest complaint: Moash is not enough of a jerk to do that! the only times he has killed, it was either because he hated the person, or because the fused asked him to, after Odium took his pain away, leaving him emotionless. also, there is no way that a girl with an ordinary knife could kill an expert warrior with an honorblade. 4. I think that Renarin or Lift would have been able to heal drunkenness, as Shallan did it quite easily. Other than these things, I enjoyed it well enough, but romance isn't really my favorite genera. It was good writing though, you obviously spent a lot of time and effort on this, and it shows.

Granted, you can take live data of a coinshot killing you with a hemalurgic spike. I wish to be a true fullborn, with sandmastery with unlimited water, allomancy, feruchemy, infinite breaths, yolen lightweaving, and all ten surges, Without hemalurgy, Yelig-nar, or being consumed/controlled by a shard. -
Preservation: Protection Devotion: Love Honor: .....Honor(hopefully) Endowment: giving Odium: I see it as Hatred too much for me to change it. Ambition: ambition

Male members of the royal line can control their beards: And members of the royal line can learn to manipulate more than just their hair, I couldn't find a direct WoB stating this, but I did find this:

Callsign: firstdeath or first to die. reason: anti jinx, I will be alive when all of you have been dead for years!

I don't think she can control body hair, only the hair on her head. To answer your question, I am fairly certain that she cannot shorten her hair, or else she would have done so instead of having the servants cut it off.

360a. If you find yourself walking in the woods alone at night, and feel like you're being followed by someone, (or something) start humming or whistling a jaunty tune, and don't falter. 360b. Ignore 360a if you are with a group, humming or whistling will simply ensure that you are the first one killed.

If you held Szeth's oathstone, what would you do?

NameIess replied to NameIess's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Yeah, but you're not Szeth are you? just another random shin who was deemed truthless. As if Szeth didn't do enough damage when he was Truthless. I'll start: If I had Szeth's oathstone, I would order him to go talk to Dalinar, and then act as a liaison between the Parshendi and the Alethi. I would also order him to kill Sadeas, and investigate Taravangian. If the negotiations between the Parshendi and the Alethi seemed likely to fall through, I would order him to use any means necessary to keep the Parshendi from accepting forms of power. -

Granted, whoever "someone" is will die a slow, painful death, along with all of their friends and family members. I give you the curse of guilt, which will lead to crushing depression. I wish for the surge of gravitation. -

Granted, but you lose the ability to communicate, not to talk, but to communicate, you speak and think in a language that is complete gibberish, and not even translators lenses can translate it. -
Did Kaladin survive? he's the only one of them that didn't get killed by a shardblade, and after his "death" Syl stayed around. If he actually died, I think she would be sent into the cognitive, and damaged, not stay around long enough to be bonded.

This is the letter to Hoid at the beginning of chapter 71 of WoR. Odium is divine anger, in that Adonalsium was divine, and it is his anger. You can't have righteous anger without knowing who or what it is that is worthy of it. If Odium picked up Honor, he would become righteous anger, and if he picked up preservation, he would become preserving anger. As Odium stands, he does not have the context to do anything except hate everything and everyone.

Granted, but your hands no longer work. I wish that I could manipulate energy, matter, light, investiture, and time. -
358. If you are an evil overlord, and feel the compulsive need to build a giant pit in your throne room, and then battle the hero above it, then you should put a net at the bottom, in case you fall whilst fighting said hero.
