  1. Thanks! I edited the topic accordingly Btw, what're Sha & Lum?
  2. Well, we're going to meet Darro in Nightblood, so he's been transplanted... unless Brandon meant as a Worldhopper, and as it has already been described in other threads, D'na is a seed character who seems to have evolved into various characters across the Cosmere People have also made comparisons between Amberite & Shardplate and Verdant & Cultivationspren
  3. Weren't the first Shentis transformed (& rendered infertile) by contact with the Aether of Night itself?
  4. Nalthis: the non grimdark necromancy magic world we all needed

I literally just realized that Nalthis' magic qualifies as such, lol

Scadrial is very spooky too with flesh devouring shapeshifters, weird carcass scavenging beings with various animal body parts, brutes with no skin, a dude with spikes driven through their eye sockets.

      Spooky!

I don't think they'd give many names to other worlds. That'd just be messy narratively. They'll stick with the Cosmere standard names.

Yeah but say a nalthian went to Roshar and pointed at a coulor and went like “That’s hyponextonic red” and the other dudes like “wtf that’s grey” because on Nalthis their social network is all about coulor they would have so many different names for certain colors and less for others.

  5. I went looking for any instances of Hoid using this phrase in canon, he does in Warbreaker: "It was a distant place where two lands meet and gods have died" when Siri asked him where he learned his storytelling.
  6. I once used this character for this game with the clue "This character lived a long time & died of old age", rofl but nope!
  7. nope! 2) This character was Invested
  8. Okay, I do have an idea this time! Here goes: 1) This character is no longer among us, RIP
  9. This probably refers to Yolen. In The Liar of Partinel, this phrase is used a lot.
  10. Hello there, welcome to the Shard! When you get Arcanum Unbounded, read Emperor's Soul first, you'll love it
  11. When Wayne pretends to be Ironeyes, the graveyard guy!
  12. a bit out there but, Kenton?
  13. We don't deserve dogs, they're that pure. Cats are brats
  14. Oh, that's an interesting & somewhat straightforward theory regarding why Taldain has been inaccessible! Or has it been confirmed? Can a Shard willingly close theirs? Investiture on a large scale is supposed to pool naturally, forming a Perpendicularity, so I'm not sure they can. They can do stuff with it but just make it go away? I don't think they can do that...
  15. Hmm... then.. Urithiru?
  16. I've down quite a few already, quite recently too, besides, I love guessing! Also, I'm kinda out of ideas. Can someone else pick it up instead?
  17. Hello there! Welcome to the Shard!

Hi, thank you, i'm glad to be here!

  18. Worldhoppers are usually Investiture hackers, so I am not going to count them. We've never had the opportunity to witness how Investiture would twist a person's Cognitive representation (we do know certain Investitures do that) Beyond that, there's been no difference between a normal person and Invested person, or a person from a different Shardworld (again unless they were using certain hacks, which we've only heard that some of them have access to). All seen examples of how a person looks like from the Cognitive Realm have adhered to how people manifest in the subastral of that particular Shardworld (to note, we've only seen two Cognitive Realms so far)
  19. @DoomStick, are any of us right? If not, next clue?
  20. But the Infinity Stones turned into sticks as did the gauntlet and Iron Man's armour soon followed. He was now Stick Man
  21. Kharbranth, Thaylenah, Herdaz, Tashikk, Liafor and Reshi Islands sound nice. I don't want to be conscripted or not allowed to read so no Vorin (Alethkar, Jah Keved, Thaylenah (there is also the Passions, more of a philosophy), Kharbranth, Herdaz) though. Marabethia apparently has a lot of podiums for public speech but I don't want to pelted with rotten fruits or have eyes of blue & red. I also don't want to be killed when I get old, so no Babatharnam. Iri's secular society is restrictive of homosexual relationships so nope. Azir's rule regarding the same isn't in agreement with my gender identity either, so nope. Purelake sounds nice, but also sound kind of boring and fishy. The middle kingdoms we don't know much about. Shinovar sounds really obnoxious, imo. Aimia is... Aimia. Reshi, do they have anything to eat aside from fish & crustaceans? Not much, I'd wager. Okay, food is king so Shinovar it is.
  22. No, not all humans look like flames in the CR, they only do so in the Rosharan Cognitive. They do however always glow due to their inherent internal Investiture. We haven't seen Parshendi in the Cognitive yet, but I'm going to say yes, they too look like flames in the Shadesmar Radiants seem to look the same as humans. We've never seen Transportation from a 3rd person PoV On Roshar, buildings don't manifest aside from as beads, I'm going to say, the flames probably appear a little bit above one another if the people they represent are on different floors. The Heralds should normally be visible in the Cognitive (unless they're hiding somehow, Hoid apparently can). I don't think the flames can be attacked but the partial manifestation during Soulcasting can The spren are refreshed by Stormlight from what we've seen but they also seem to depend on emotion, they're consuming something given their attraction to emotions and partial manifestation Stormlight stored in perfect gems seem to be the gold standard We haven't seen all the spren or seen them all navigate the sea of beads, so we don't know
  23. Jasnah had, it seems, found a worthy opponent
