  1. We do know, because of two simple things. 1. Is that luck does not exist. The law of causality forbids it. 2. The following WoBs
  2. That's not how fortune works. It's like fortune seeing, or foresight, not luck.
  3. They no longer exist in their original form. We know from Nikil that they were made as four separate Dawnshards, so it has to be something else.
  4. It's not quite era 2, it's more like Dragonriders of Pern if you've ever read that. There's a 10-15 year the gap between books 5 and 6, alongside a change in focus characters and plot, but the old characters are still there just taking a back seat.
  5. Honor and Cultivation created both Urithiru and the Oathgates
  6. Marasi is also unaffected by emotional Allomancy's second wave when that one woman is rioting Gave. He had just been leeched so he couldn't have had any iron.
  7. So I stumbled upon this WoB And was blown away by the reveal that the Dawnshards were expended shattering Adonalsium. So Dawnshards powering up Surgebinding to the levels capable of rendering planets uninhabitable was them after they were weakened. That makes me horrified by what power they must have had originally.
  8. The question is: was his pewter actually strong enough to have a noticable effect, or is his survival purely a result of Sazed protecting him? I lean towards the later.
  9. He used a Hemalurgic spike to get duralumin.
  10. Them getting spren off world isn't what I'm saying. I'm saying that with that WoB those individuals cannot be Skybreakers.
  11. In order to have abilities still he has to take Design with him, and Radiants are bound just as much as their spren are.
  12. Don't worry about it
  13. Brandon didn't say that they were former Skybreakers.
  14. Only the previews are allowed here without spoiler tags. There's a thread in the spoiler board for this very topic.
  15. Kaladin no contest. Wax's Lerasium dose was so low that he might as well not be able to burn the other metals. So basically he has steel and duralumin, versus 4th oath kal, when 3rd oath could have beaten Vin.
  16. I was talking about my alchemy magic system, and how I was trying to compete with Brandon, and you asked to peer review, which is how we got a PM of the same name.
  17. In HoA page 40 Elend outpushes a steel inquisitor, who a few pages later is revealed to only have a single f-steel spike extra, so he has 2-3 times regular steel power, depending on if he was a natural coinshot or not. So Lerasium beads the size of the one Elend ate make you at least 3-4 time more powerful than ordinary allomancers
  18. They weren't able to draw in light until Kaladin said the third ideal. There's a difference between being able to use abilities and having the skill necessary to use them effectively
  19. Kaladin did that without a teacher, and his squires were using their powers adequately within a week. Atium doesn't require skill to use.
  20. another advantage is that will gravitation you can bring friends or materials with you, which you really can't with steel.
  21. You forget that we skip over allomancers learning to use their powers. Vin and Elend both had months off screen where they learned how to use their abilities. Kelsier also spent months learning
  22. Not horribly weird, lots of people do that.
  23. Never a lot but you have a few times. High Imperial Academy My Perpetual motion using Raysium thread. We met there if I recall correctly Edit: nevermind we met in YKYASFW
  24. An Unmade was bound underneath Ral Eram in WoK Prime
