  1. Oh yeah, forgot about those guys.
  2. Coming back to this point, I found some WoB's that I think are of note I would also like to enter for evidence the fact that all known Ryshadium riders are both lighteyes and Alethi This is kind of a sub-theory, but I propose that Ryshadium are bonding the descendents of Radiants.
  3. So I came across this WoB And I couldn't help but notice the use of the word 'He' in describing the sword. It's brought up by Brandon so that's not just him using the questioners words. That leads me to conclude that Gretgor is a shardblade, probably a Selish one, but a shardblade nonetheless. However either way it is a huge deal. That means that either a Rosharan shardblade has been taken off World, or Sel at one point knew how to make them.
  4. It just kept him warm, he still wasn't able to swim, and could barely float.
  5. On a purely narrator note, Skybreakers and Coinshot do not fly the same way, and Steris can find Kandra by noticing such slight differences. She would have mentioned the oddity of there was one.
  6. I never thought about needing to actually say you are going back on the oaths, I always thought that it was more of an action thing, but I guess you have to say the oath to begin with. That would imply that Syl never actually died. Very interesting.
  7. No mammals have carapace either.
  8. There is a finite amount of Investiture. Therefore shards do not have infinite power. Honor, Ambition, Devotion, and Dominion are all dead. Brandon says otherwise
  9. My problem is that all evidence points to shards not being omnipotent, but anytime that's brought up you just come up with some explanation that isn't supported by the evidence. They can die, they only have access to a limited amount of Investiture, they cannot see the future with perfection, and so much more. This is true of the shards themselves. If you want an Abrahamic God in the Cosmere, look to the God Beyond That's not the discussion though, @bmcclure7 is claiming that Shards are omnipotent
  10. Completely making a new body, probably multiple times as the heat and shrapnel would tear it to pieces even as he was healing, would take days to store, even when compounding. Because that would be the first time anything other than the one who created it entering/leaving a bubble having had any effect on it
  11. Adonalsium made the Dawnsingers.
  12. What assumption is made? TLM says that they are allomancers.
  13. I actually made a theory about that https://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/117279-what-does-the-valley-do-sa-5/
  14. Regardless, on a purely biological level we can't produce offspring with chimpanzees, who are a lot more related than singers.
  15. That seems like a cop out. Brandon has stated that no future sight is perfect, like at all.
  16. We do know, while the vessel has an impact, some shards are just qualitatively better
  17. Feverstone keep
  18. Any information from a new release is covered by the spoiler period.
  19. I misremembered the WoB, it's not quite as definitive as I thought
  20. The order of the ones recording in the gem archive is shown by what gem they use. Sapphire is for Windrunners Smokestone for Skybreakers Rubies for Dustringers, and so on.
  21. TLR was probably lying, and Miles didn't blow his head off, he just fired some shots through it.
  22. Well, Singers are actually quite different from humans, they aren't even mammals. However I agree that Horse and Chulls would not be able to produce offspring.
  23. The inkspren who had Testament found her on an island, which in this case would be the Oathgate where Shallan left her.
  24. When he says he believes that Hoid is the only one, what he means is that right now Hoid is the only person he has decided has done it, but he is leaving the door open for him to add others. We have two options Option 1 requires no assumptions, no one has gotten off world and maintained powers other than Hoid, therefore there cannot be Skybreakers. Option 2 requires two assumptions, one is that these are Skybreakers, and the second is that somehow they managed to leave by suppressing their powers. In these cases I believe it is best to go with the option that requires the least amount of assumptions.
