  1. Yeah, we'll really have to concentrate in order to keep this going.
  2. The Contest is a game, when one champion dies the clock stops, if at that time the other champion is alive, they win. Anything otherwise is like saying if a boxer passes out a day later that their most recent fight was a draw, despite them knocking out their opponent at that time.
  3. No, I imagine being alive when the other person is dead. I killed better than they did, and I survived better than they did. And thus, I won. Whether I succumb to my wounds afterwards is not relevant to me winning or losing.
  4. You can't break a voided contract. And thus upon the first person breaking the contract the other party is no longer bound. Why on earth would that be the case? If there is so much as a Planck instant in which one champion is dead and the other is not the living party wins and the results cannot be altered.
  5. You're using the letter of the agreement, to say that the spirit of the agreement says something? There are no twists of language that get Odium what he wants.
  6. Yeah, this is some alpha class humor, but it just keeps decaying.
  7. NaBrO, U should make Chemistry jokes.
  8. I'm not sure why you seem so focused on survival. The goal is to kill the other guy before he can kill you, whether you die in the process is irrelevant so long as he dies first.
  9. Indeed, it's quite polarizing.
  10. Yeah, and the spirit says that the one who died first lost. If one side withdraws their side is in violation immediately, and the other side is thus no longer bound by the contract and thus cannot violate it.
  11. Well according to Navani in WoR it isn't unheard of for the soulcaster housings to become misaligned and stop working.
  12. Tensile strength is also a chemical property, but awakening can change that.
  13. That would mean that there is a time in which one champion is alive and the other isn't, thus fulfilling the contract. It would be violating the contract rather than leaving it void, but again they would have to do it at the same time.
  14. Ag, we got a bunch of non chemistry jokes.
  15. That's the best one yet. I'm going to take some time to mole it over.
  16. I don't know about that, though I would say there is some pressure to do these jokes right.
  17. Please, we only mentioned four shards, barely hinted at Silverlight, completely ignored the IRE, didn't even mention that Hemalurgy can steal powers from other worlds. Didn't mention how Connection can impact the ability to use Investiture, barely explained Avatars, only briefly saw the Cognitive Realm. We didn't even get into how medallion technology is basically synthesizing souls, we didn't get to see off world weapons, Adonalsium isn't even mention. There's nothing on the theorized Dawnshard on Scadrial, or even the fact that Investiture resists Investiture. I can keep going.
  18. I make the jokes as they come to me, it helps keep things current.
  19. Just put [SA 5] in the title of the topic at the moment.
  20. Au, I think you'll be surprised.
  21. What we really need here, is a good solution to our problems.
  22. I'll try not to irradiate you too much.
  23. Indeed, perhaps we can test the correct amount of time to wave, it's so awkward finding the right wave length.
  24. I've met electrons more positive than you. Whenever someone interrupts this conversation with a non-chemistry joke, I propose we Barium.
