I don't think that it is better than Atium, while it seems to be able to steal any of the metallic arts, and shield the user from Harmony, I doubt it could steal other investwd arts, such as surgebinding.

A sandwich is anything that humans decide to define as a sandwich, because it exists only in human imagination, and does not require, nor could it ever fit a scientific definition.
-
It could also require the Dor's tone to be played, which the Selish people probably don't know.

Scadrial vs. Roshar post Lost metal.
Frustration replied to Frustration's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Not really. Interworld trade was probably mostly carried out by the IRE, who have sources of investiture to just splash onto ships. The Ghostbloods only needed to get a dozen or so individuals around at a time, and they're complaining about how inconvenient it is. And even Harmony struggles to get kandra off world. That's not to mention the fact that in order to fill up metalminds large enough to serve as effective transportation, you would need multiple people storing for months at a time. It's much easier to travel the CR on Roshar because ordinary wood floats. -
Leechers probably could drain metalminds given the exchange in SoS, but I doubt they could do the same for the nicrosil that stores the ability, any more than they can strip a misting of their powers.

Isek grunted, forming a metallic fist on his neck, and used it to punch whatever it was that was on his back. He was rewarded by a deep yip, as the weight disappeared. He stood up, willing the metal back into his body as he held up his metal stick in a defensive posture. He still couldn't see anything. Invisible little bugger. "Where'd he go?"

I fervently disagree with the notion that hotdogs are sandwiches.
-
"Don't point out how good your luck is, that always leads to dis--" Isek cut off as some large and heavy slammed into his back, knocking him onto the ground. Something shard began digging at his neck. It was too heavy for him to shake it off, and yet, when he tried to look at it there was nothing there.

Scadrial vs. Roshar post Lost metal.
Frustration replied to Frustration's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Scadrial will NOT have an easy time moving to the CR. The Cognitive Realm on Scadrial is a sea of mists that only invented objects float on, trains, amd boats are useless there. The only vehicles they have that would work are the airships which are all too big to get through, so you would have to build them on the other side, which requires Malwish help. At most they could get maybe a dozen individuals out by the time Roshar had sent tens of thousands. It doesn't matter if the Rosharans have spears, and the Scadrians machine guns, Roshar has more people than the Scadrians have bullets. -
You mean you don't want more money?

I'm not quite rich enough to pull that off.

Theoretically, we don't have confirmation on if it could do that or not. -
You get the victim to walk into a room where you have someone dressed as Rick Astley, who will start singing as soon as the victim enters.
-
Oh that doesn't count. Real Rick Rolls have to be the video(or live performance if you're skilled enough), and they have to involve some level of voluntary action on the part of the victim. Now in this case clicking to open a spoiler box would count, but just writing the lyrics would not. Yes, I am a snobby elitist about this and proud of it. *ahem* forgive my ranting
-
Videos in the shard can't autoplay. Unfortunately. So I can't Rick Roll you.
-
You'll just have to see.

Isek nodded, taking a branch in both hands, which groaned ominously as he held it. No time like the present, he thought. Isek pulled, lifting himself a few inches into the air and reached for the next branch. The one he was holding snapped. Isek dropped to the ground with the loud scraping of metal on stone. "I think making a ladder would be easier," Isek said looking up at his companions. Ast'avi, and... the other one. At least he remembered one of their names. Isek planted his feet, and using the metal stick he had made earlier as a reference, allowed thick steel to ooze from his fingers, running like liquid up and down, forming a tick ladder up to the overhanging ledge. It took a long time, shaping this much metal was time consuming, but at long last he leaned it against the ledge, and climbed up.

Ah, you're too smart for my shenanigans.
-
"Ast'avi? Alright, why don't you go first, in case I break it and need another way up?" Isek offered. Ast'avi, I can remember that, right?

I think Dustringers are the only ones we don't know enough to say. I have several ways it could be deadly, or useful for other things. I'm going to disagree there. -

Isek looked at the tree carefully, "I do not believe that this will support my weight, let's have... I don't believe I know your name," he said looking at the human. @Ookla the Perpetual

I kind of want to do one of these threads for all of the orders.
