  1. Hi! If there is anything Brandon Sanderson loves, it's making his characters (and readers) miserable. Post your reactions to the saddest moments in the cosmere here! For example during these parts of the cosmere I: Mistborn era one: Vin's "did he beat you?" comment: Initially I thought she was kidding. Then when I realized she wasn't. Kelsiers death: I actually thought this was probably for the best. I still cried. When we realized Marsh had no control over what he was doing: Cried. I do that a lot. HoA ending: Sat catonic for half an hour, quietly crying Stormlight Archive: Beginning scene with Cien: Was confused, until I realised Cien was not the main character. Then when he died, I cried again. Kaladin's "all of my friends are dead" moment: I was still trying to figure out how the back-of-book-blurb fit into this. For once, I did not cry. Kaladin's bridge-shield idea: I knew it would be a bad idea. That didn't make me cry less. Tiens death flashback scene: I cried. Again. Shallan stops lying to herself and admits she killed BOTH her parents: At this point I was just weirded out by Shallan. I forgot to cry. Elhokars death: I actually laughed and cheered for Moash until I realized that his son was there. Then I shut up. The rift: I went catatonic again. Then I realized exactly what I thought of Dalinar (). Mistborn era two: Lessie's death: A part of me died When I realized Lessie was a kandra. Who was commiting suicide: That little part of me died again. I cried. Wayne's backstory: I cried. Why do I cry so much? When Wax died: Wayne Me is filled with hatred for the world as Wax dies. (https://coppermind.net/wiki/Summary:The_Bands_of_Mourning#Chapter_28) Warbreaker: Lightsongs death: I was shocked. I then became very worried that this would be another HoA. As you can see, I cry a lot. Add your own saddest moments of the cosmere, and how you responded to them!

  3. It was BEAUTIFULLY UNCLEAR!!! It was the level of unclear the WoK was!!! Send this to brandon!

  5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqD5hDbgLyU&t=97s AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA But seriously Lunamor, that sentence... *shivers* Never again.
  6. Bondsmith turned to Willshaper. "Should I?" Willshaper grinned "Yep." Bondsmith summoned the nightwatcher as a shardblade, rammed it into a slot on the wall, and turned it. Suddenly rain sounded from outside. "Please tell me you didn't make a new oathgate?" Elsecaller said. This RP is continued in
  7. When someone apologises for tripping you, and you turn towards them and say:
  8. To demonstrate how much I love the stormlight archive
  9. Hmm... we have strict confidentiality laws on how we make our spikes, but for the right price...
  10. Can you do the the wandersail next? Or Fleet?
  11. Lunamor, if you continue killing characters at this rate, you'll be the next Sanderson!
  12. I've just got to say, giving Adolin scrambled surges VIA messed up bond is totally the kind of thing brandon would do.
  13. I think that Cryptics are truthspren/liespren so Truthwatchers almost definitely bond with something else.
  14. The Knights Radiant: Go on vacation to the horneater peaks (In Roshar era four) It was a regular day at Urithiru, and the Dustbringer, Lightweaver, Skybreaker, and Windrunner are eating breakfast... The Willshaper runs downstairs. Willshaper: "Guys, I just talked with the bondsmith, and we've decided that everyone should go on a road trip to the horneater peaks." Dustbringer: "NO WAY. The last time you and the bondsmith worked together and planned a teambuilding trip, we ended camping out in a highstorm." Lightweaver: "Oh don't be such a cremling, it'll be-" Willshaper: "Everyone, Lightweaver. No illusions" The Elsecaller teleports downstairs. Elsecaller: "Oh come on, It's not gonna be that bad. I'll go charge up the Jah Keved oathgate." Willshaper: "NOPE!!! Journey before destination, Elsecaller. Charge up the Aimia oathgate." Everyone starts yelling at the Willshaper. The Edgedancer slides down the stair rail, and the bondsmith walks down. Edgedancer: "Do we have too?" Bondsmith: "Yep." Edgedancer: "Fine, I'll grab the scrapbook." Everyone groans. Skybreaker: "While I fully approve of you attempting to keep your oaths to the letter, did you have to swear them in a way that included experiences and inanimate objects?" Edgedancer: "They must not be forgotten." TO BE CONTINUED...
  15. My best theory is that Roshar is far closer to the cognitive realm than other worlds, and that's why forms of investiture such as soulcasting are prevalent. (This excludes Shinovar)
