  1. I personally always imagined a live action version. What kind of animation style would you prefer? Also even in animation making spren would be time consuming and expensive. Another option is to make each book several movies but I do see the problem with that. Finally perhaps if some other cosmere were adapted first and it gained a wider following they could get the momentum necessary to just break bank making the TV show.
  2. Also its not like she has that many people she can confide in. If she were to confide in her family members they may move to stop some of her activities because of their morals or because they fear for her safety, her ward has proven "somewhat" untrustworthy, and she does not seem to have anyone who she regards as personal friends(at least that we have met). The only people she does open up to are her colleges the Veristitalians and she probably has good reasons for trusting them. As a side note I can see her becoming more open with Adolin or Shallan if they where to come clean about some of the more morally ambiguous things that they have done.
  3. What about making a gate that no one can break down this way? The gate stays in place as long as infused gemstones are on it and opens by sliding to the right or left. No one would have to worry about battering rams.
  4. Has anyone proved any real need for any information that Jasnah has? I doubt that she will tell anything potentially critical to anyone unless they need it and she has no other choice. Also the last time she revealed that she had to much information she was killed.
  5. A mistake should have a cost I am not sure what it should be though. Any ideas?
  6. Also a good battlefield application. Levitate and then release a massive stone wall that flies at the enemy army.
  7. I think the fused or parshmen called him Binder of Gods for founding the Oathpact. I know it is boring but simplest is most likely you know?(in the real world anyway who knows with Sanderson).
  8. I kind of think that the brilliance of Sanderson is that he can find ways of including things that do not realy have an obvious purpose. Instead they are just normal interactions between believable human beings.
  9. What about spacecraft? Using your constant velocity you could move upward at a constant speed for as long as you have stormlight.
  10. My point is that Kaladin himself is impossible to pin because he can move any weight she can conceivably soulcast and reverse the direction gravity pulls on him.
  11. Perhaps the only message the Skybreaker command received was something along the lines of "going to Davar household to investigate report of surgebinding" after which the individuals ended up dead under circumstances unknown. After a period of observation the Skybreaker's concluded that Heleran was likely the suspect and he would make a good candidate and so they adopted him. The may have suspected Shallan but her self lies were so complete that they would fool any inspection I can think of and so eventually the probably dropped the case. "She is one of them" is just a fragment of a larger conversation with explanations that could have come before hand or perhaps Lady Davar confided some of her doings to her husband(we know literally nothing about their relationship).
  12. I seriously doubt a group of opportunistic criminals with no known morality would not attempt to make use of a child who can disguise herself or others and soulcast any substance into any other. I would say he clearly blames his father but he is not able to kill him as he has not yet broken the law or because killing him would have a bunch of unfortunate consequences. He could just be worried about the status of his siblings. This is consistent with him being a skybreaker a group that would not tolerate ghostblood rejects.
  13. I don't think you can create or destroy mass via soulcasating so no she could not soulcast the air back into its original state as their is more air in a given area. You cannot soulcast air into less air by my understanding of the surge. Again we do not know how teleportation works, if it works by opening a perpendicularity then Jasnah may take Kaladin with her or be unable to teleport if he keeps a strong hold. Also I think it is easier for Kaladin to move a given mass then it is for Jasnah to create it in terms of stormlight consumption so doing so would drain more of her stormlight then his leaving her at a disadvantages after she completes this maneuver.
  14. The point is that the Diagram does not explicitly know about Kaladin. In OB we learn that the diagram warns that the personalities of the radiant introduce great uncertainty into the equation.
  15. My point is that Dalinar, Shallan, Adolin and Navani are people and that people express love differently. Whatever Navani and Dalinar do registers on your love meter. Adolin and Shallan do not. According to Pattern it would be true for you to consider Adolin and Shallan to not be in love even if many of us would argue otherwise.
  16. Perhaps if an alomancer burns silver they gain the ability to touch things in the cognitive realm.
  17. I am not criticizing I am explaining.
  18. I meant it would be basically impossible for Jasnah to pin Kaladin as he could just reverse gravity.
  19. That is on you. The truth you are crafting for yourself. You define and detect love differently then the rest of us and that is fine. This does not make anyone else's understanding of love different your's invalid. Frankly I think if Nightblood's command had been "create love" he would be just as crazy as he is now if not more so. Someone make a fanfic about that please
  20. Perhaps that is the lie that Shallan's is being told the letter only mentions two groups(we know of three).
  21. He is being dramatic knowing that one of the brdgemen who saved Dalinar's life will should be dead and got realy lucky. Favored by the winds just is a Rosharn expression that means lucky. Dalinar says "wish me the wind's favor"
  22. Ones. It had a way of IDing potential radiants. It was an instruction that told Taravangian where to look not an prediction of Kaladin specifically. Taravanging did not know where to look until Szeth told him that their was a radiant in protecting Dalinar. Taravangian seems to think killing Jasnah was his idea and the ghostbloods of shown no knowlege of the diagram's existence(they do not include it in the letter they send Shallan about groups aware that a desolation was happening).
  23. Taking the absolute value of an illusion will get you a real number that you can manipulate I am also thinking that numbers can be distilled out of nature by a skilled Arithmatist and used to create stuff.
  24. Why would they? I seriously doubt that any windrunner could continence working with an organization like the ghostbloods. Sure knowing that a surgebinder was around could be useful but is it worth a full set of shards? If you think about it Kaladin got extremely lucky and used no surgebinding during the battle. In fact surgebinding would be of limited use against a shardplated opponent.
