Using astral projection as transportation
Karger replied to Hoidwillsaveus's topic in Stormlight Archive
I meant using transportation to move that projection around a bit. Perhaps location is a better name for the surge since an object's motion is part of its location in space physically speaking. You use transformation to put yourself in shadesmar and then use transportation to move your ''astral body." -
Just did. Byebye goes my theory.

In Oathbringer at the final fight. Did Adolin summon his shardblade in less then 10 heartbeats or did he at least think he had(the count stops at 7)? Can you kill a lifeless by Hemolergicaly spiking it to get rid of the breath?

Using astral projection as transportation

The places where the Heralds most likely are is the middle of one of shadesmar's oceans. How exactly do you preform a planet wide search with such a limited number of people (remember their are not that many sapient spren). -

Sure but the cognitive realm on Roshar is the size of a continent. Was Ivory proposing a massive planetwide manhunt carried out by the two of them alone? -
We have seen several different kinds of savantism throughout the Cosmere basically the person gets better at using investature the more they do it stretching out their souls in a interesting way. Is their any reason you can't become a shardblade savant? Summon your blade so often that it takes less then 10 heartbeats for example?

Wow easy way to kill lifeless. Just spike the breath out of them and they die.
-
If that is true then it is theoretically possible to create a bubble outside yourself as per the fosbury flop method.

I'll do you one better: Why is Kelsier?

Perhaps this is how elsecalling works? Ivory mentions searching shadesmar for the Herald's souls. Unless these souls are clearly visible from one area this implies that an elsecaller can move their astral body around in shadesmar a bit. If this is true then they could transition to the cognitive location of almost anywhere. -

Are humans not influenced by their environments? Enough that it may be hard to tell the difference between their perception of their environment and the actual environment's effects on them?

What if it got to the point where the system was only used in that language and snobs would not write about the subject in any other. It would globalize things and make learning the language part of the initiation into the magic system. I personally think that a common use language would actually most often be a bad idea for a word based system. Something with a syntax more similar to coding might work better.

That principle could have been manufactured latter. In response to Taldain stealing Scadrain Tech and the disasters that followed. -
I broke them down based on older archetypes. 5e classes are extremely flexible both story and mechanics wise.

His last orders to Vin are about not killing nobility. He changed from thief who just wanted to get rich into individual overthrowing the empire. I meant apathetic in the littoral sense as in to not care. When we meet him for the first time he does not seem to be even interested in an attempt on his life. True it posses no threat to him but the fact that he is ignoring a local revolution and regularly allows house wars is amazing. Even if Kelseir lived thousands of years can you imagine him not taking an interest in those kinds of events?

If everyone in the anon drawing community started using one system(the way all intellectuals in the middle ages used Latin) it sure would be convenient.

As I understand it based on earlier addition class structures you can organize them like this. Keep in mind that there exists a great deal of wiggle room in both SA and D&D Elsecallers are wizards Lightweavers are Sorcerers Skybreakers are Paladins Edgedancers are Druids Bondsmiths are Clerics Stonewards are Fighters Ashbringers are Warlocks Windrunners are Rangers Willshapers are Bards Truthwatchers are Monks
