We do actually. Kaladin says he studied under someone who studied at Karbranth. I would like to point out that Lirin is extremely knowledgeable about modern Rosharan educate and practices. He is up to date on Rosharan current events (enough to know about Theylen culture and how to get into a Karbranthian university.) He also never once uses archaic or wired language. As to him seeming out of place. We are comparing a surgeon to Alethi warriors and uneducated farm boys. Of course he is going to look different. As to his ideals inspiring Kaladin. We know that his Radiant ideals of right and wrong are influenced by what he thinks of as right and wrong. Of course a wise parental figure is going to have an effect on that it would be wired if it did not. -
Where is Kelsier? What has everyone's favorite thief/revolutionary/cult leader/god been doing the past 150 years? We know that he is bound to the system we know that Harmony has mentioned him being "gone", we know he spent some time helping the southern scadrialins, and we know he has a body but where is he now? Ironeyes is obviously still active and Harmony still has the Kandra at work it seems like he could use Kelsier's help too but he does not. What is he up to?

Reading Mistborn for the first time I don't think anyone immediately says, "You know who reminds me of Reshek? Kelseir!" At the same time many people end up thinking about how similar the two are by the time they finish secret history. What made them appear so different? Was it just their style? Their attitude? Did we know one much better then the other? Both were undoubtedly arrogant. Both (at least sometimes) saw humans as malleable tools to be manipulated. Both of them have been described for their anger and poor impulse control at one time or another, their boldness, and the remarkable loyalty they were able to inspire. So why is it that whenever anyone calls them similar I immediately want to disagree? Perhaps it is Kelseir's sense of humor or his sense of style? Is it because of his curiosity or his adaptability? Is it because of the genuine care he shows sometimes shows for people on an individual level? For his part Reshek seems different as well. True we mostly know him only at two points in his career(the end and the beginning) but he seems most notable for his apathy arrogance and inability to admit to personal fault. These may well have been caused by his divinity but even as a youth Alendi never notes any curiosity in the man only a rugged charm and stubbornness. He also does not show any level of adaptability (it takes a very firm mind to believe that metallic arts grant one a level of superiority and keep that opinion through godhood and a millennia). I think what makes them so different is Kelsier's ability to change his goals, opinions and attitudes when confronted with new information and Reshek simply can't. What do you think the difference between them is? Do you even think there is a difference?

Not to split hairs but he only says that Syl's 9 siblings were destroyed any number of honorspren that Honor made could have survived.

You could do some cool stuff with Etmetal tech that might give personal enhancement similar to shardplate. If you can get it directional how about a push or pull powered set of greaves that enhance jumping and running by increasing the speed at which your legs move? Just add something similar to your upper body for protection and enhanced arm strength and you have something similar to shardplate.

Dalinar only has a limited number of experienced Windrunners he will likely want them to stay back if it all possible. He might not have a choice but even so I think bridge 4 is mostly safe for now. Hobber strikes me as the most likely to die. He has heart it would be emotionally impactful, and he is not a great fighter.

She could be manipulating T instead of counseling him. I would like to direct you to Miraize's line "the old fool sows chaos but... he has no idea" implying Mr T is actually just causing damage as apposed to realy accomplishing anything of substance. This would fit well with the inversion theory. A wise careful counselor manipulating a well intentiond individual into reckless behavior sounds perfect.

Adding a hemalurgic spike to a lifeless would work I guess. Stapling a bit of extra soul on there so to speek. Not sure what you would get as a result but it looks interesting.

I would like to point out that without this brutality none of the Cosmere works would have gained enough sentience to begin this trail and that universe would be a ghost of itself. Considering the progress made across numerous planets and the millions who have lead happy lives on them are dependent on this could not these death be a necessary sacrifice. Every dead Character had a choice(except the Kolass but that was Ruin's decision and he had a choice too).
