Spren can't break oaths either.

The Primacy of Perception: A Realmic Theory
Karger replied to Confused's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I thought the spiritual realm was a realm of absolute truth uninfluenced by human perception. At least Vorin teachings tell us so(although these could easily be inaccurate). -
I remember this bothering me. I don't think we have confirmation.

Maya was a cultivationspren like Wyndle and I don't think Adolin being Radiant is a good idea.

There is a shift in the order of magnitude each time and anyway. We have seen with speed bubbles that when large enough masses are present and close you don't have to worry about that stuff. Otherwise Wax increasing his weight to much should cause him to fall over in the reverse of the direction he is already traveling in a circle around the earth.

The Secret to Returned Childbirth (A Theory)
Karger replied to not an Evil Librarian's topic in Warbreaker
I meant as to why it does not always work. Sometimes people have trouble reproducing. -

Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. -

Or just normal infertility. -
Their relationship was not what it could have been though. Kaladin was still, is still, working through a lot. Romance does not seem like a priority for him at the moment until he figures some stuff out. (Maybe immediately after swearing the 4th ideal he will finally decide to start making his move with the girl who has been into him throughout stormlight 4.)

Or perhaps the translation is off a bit. They put in spren as a generic for a concept they don't quite understand yet.

No. I just can't think of any other reasonable way to interpret Ivory's statement. -
Well to start with their are a lot of elements in common with some of the standard fairy tales. An intelligent and beautiful princess that is somehow still single, a lost prince, a puzzle to be solved, and fantastic obstacles to be overcome.

Using astral projection as transportation
Karger replied to Hoidwillsaveus's topic in Stormlight Archive
If you can form and move an "astral projection" miles from your body then the rest is relatively easy except for the stormlight efficiency which we know increases as ideals progress. -
They are also shapesifters who look how they feel they should.

Think historical context the Ala Stile was likely written by bigots. Even if it was not the Parshendi of the time could have read in divine betrayal into a lot of things that had nothing to do with Honor or alternatively they could have broken their word at some point and felt unfairly punished once Honor turned against them.

I do not think that Shallan's experience can be held as typical as she clearly had no idea what she was doing. Ivory says "We must search shadesamr" because only Jasnah and Ivory are present and Ivory knows for reasons we have already outlined that conducting a search personally via going to the CR and looking at the different souls, or talking to other spren is not practical. They must have some way of searching it themselves. I am trying to come up with a theory that fits these facts. -

Care to elaborate? She can use stormliight to keep herself from drowning or from letting anything in. I also don't think Ivory meant right now. They could have waited until immediately after a storm when light would not have been an issue. She is moving the bubble itself with transportation. She is not making multiple trips to and from the CR. -

Hence the term "theory." I am proposing the Elsecaller resonance. I could be wrong but it seems logical to me. -

Considering her current location is probably the most secure on the planet I think that risk is negligible. Elsecallers are the Radiant masters of the far realm of the spren. Also this is Jasnah we are talking about. Jasnah can handle herself and then some. Jasnah can move around much faster assuming her form in shadesmar is in fact ethereal and she is looking for several extremely unique individuals. Have you ever tried flipping through several hundred or thousand channels on a television? It is certainly possible. Doing so every day in a systematic search might actually yield something. Stormlight is renewed by the time Jasnah gets back with Highstorms coming regularly. Jasnah is much more capable then Shallan and is almost certainly more efficient. She can do more with less. Jasnah only needs a split second with each person. She could likely work her way through many thousands of individuals every day. -
I can up with a first doomsday weapon. Yay now these guys can destroy the plannet. Wax mentions that increasing his weight decreases his speed as per the law of conservation of momentum. You get something into orbit via a method that involves decreasing the thing's weight. Then when the vectors are right you increase the thing's weight causing it to slow to below orbital velocity. It falls with a huge amount of force like a meteor. Did I make any mistakes(other then creating a doomsday weapon)?

Kelsier managed to hack a connection to connect to preservation. I don't see why you could not do the same with breath. A better wording might be connect to the Dor or even give yourself to the Dor.

Profit of some kind. If not money then either power or information. They are pushing things to be about even and gathering their resources so that they can use the desolation to their advantage.
