I never interpreted this to mean that sapiant spren were being bonded. For one thing there must be a relatively limited number of sapiant spren and I have no idea how you would go about catching them. Even if you could catch them there must be an incredible limited number of them available in the physical realm and I don't think the people building these have access to shadesmar.

How many Aons can you keep going at once?
Karger replied to Karger's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
You probably just give a generic intent like an activate command and that will do something. Like the print function in coding? -
Nin is extremely concerned with propriety and order. Despite a president and prime ministor being basically the same thing in that they are both heads of states (and if I were explaining our government structures to an alien I would say they were the same thing)) there is a distinction which Nin would care about(although I doubt Taln for example would as he is a more practical thinker with a less inflated ego). No reason just laying out possibilities that make more sense. Also perhaps because humans associate wind with Honor for whatever reason.

Do you just repost what everyone has already posted?

Not with that attitude.

The black sphere is actually Hoid.

Would you describe yourself as a hope spreader?

If it looks like a shardblade and acts like a shardblade then it is a duck. Even if it is technically not a duck.

Being drawn into the physical realm damages a spren's mind and leaves them unable to remember some things. However the Stormfather is already in the physical realm even in his unbonded state so I doubt this applies. Also, not remember is different from making up false information.

Chaos theory is something else. Unfortunately.

The Stormfather claims that the Recreince was caused by Honor telling the Radiants that they would destroy the world. Since he was actually there why exactly can he not remember/is incapable of telling the truth?

You could just use the word spelling or incantating. You could translate a word from another language like the Latin carmen which means something similar.

I don't know why I never did this sooner

Hello and welcome. -
Why not say that the actual pronunciation of the method has been lost along with the language. As such the method could have a verity to names depending on what people use it for and how they use it.
-
Why not use the Spiritual Realm? Perpendicularities allow anyone to access any of them three realms yet nearly all world hoppers chose to use the CR as apposed to the spiritual realm which could get them anywhere instantaneously.

On the other hand, Syl has said things very similar about windspren. Syl said that without a bond she is basically a windspren while in the physical realm(which damages her mind and capabilities). She also says that the winds are of honor(which could either be a profound statement, a nod to the fact that the highstorms are caused by Honor's investiture or just something poetic). I fail to see how this undermines the belief that Cultivation's spren is the Nightwatcher or that she is one of the three that bondsmiths bond.

Shallan has the fate of the world on her mind. Excuse her for not being interested in the army around her. Sadeas is abnormally aggressive even for himself throughout both books. His disregaurd of Kaladin comes through good old prejudice that clouds his judgement. He did not actually think Adolin would be a subordinate he was likely just trying to rile him up and get him to do something stupid. Sadeas was foolish to rely on Adolin's restraint but even Adolin himself was surprised by his own reaction.

On earth you would be correct. However on Roshar you are operating at a reduced gravity so it does in fact work. I belive Sanderson editor and friend Peter actually did the math on this. The reduced gravity is also one of the reasons Roshar has so much megafuna The reason Szeth follows orders is because it his his punishment for a spesific crime. Kaladin is living proof that Szeth was actually innocent of the crime indicating that he no longer has to follow orders and in fact that the foundations of his belief system is incorrect. He is not running from physical danger but from moral and spiritual ones. He did not know that Kaladin was a windrunner at the time. In fact he had concluded that Kaladin had a blade for regrowth and he also knew Kaladin was not present. Yes it was easier for Kaladin to rescue him but Szeth had no idea that he would arrive in time. Also just touching Dalinar might have been easier then stabbing him for combat reasons. The crowd is mostly Lighteyes who train themselves not to react. I do see where you are coming from but they might have just been too shocked by Kaladin to say anything. Stormlgiht can save any Radiant from fall damage and Kaladin did get a bit of stormlight at the end.

The Alethi, Kaladin, bridge four, Moash and we all have vary different ideas of what constitutes moral or honorable behavior. Dalinar chose to be better. He spent his life surrounded by morally bankrupt people(looking at you Sades) and looked past them to people like Jasnah and his children who challenged him to be better. Moash spent months in bridge four and still did not learn anything about ethical behavior.

I think politeness and clinical observation of your surroundings are probably your best bet.

The corruption likely took time. Think of it as a battle of wills between shardic intent and human nature. The intent is unchanging and constant but human will is not so eventually the shard wins but this may take a great deal of time.

In Oathbringer chapter 111. Dalinar discuses this with the Stormfather. The Stormfather confirms that the Nightwatcher is like himself only for Cultivation.
