  1. Sanderson would be changing the gender if so which he consistently has not if I remember correctly.
  2. Same email and no idea. Anyone have any accurate news?
  3. Using Surgebinding(or any form of investiture) does warp your perceptions a bit but weather or not that qualifies as insanity is an open question. I personally would classify Kaladin as insane for example.
  4. A bunch of reasons come to mind. For one the Parshe are easy to manipulate as they are both angry and capable of bonding spren. Because of this he can use the minimum amount of his investiture helping them killing humans insuring that Honor and Cultivation have to exert themselves running interference protecting them.
  5. The frost crystallization is a "level up" for windrunners. Additionally it seems to be a side effect of the adhesion surge(from what I remember)which Kaladin does not use much during WoR.
  6. This has not been desided so far as I know. Now to business. I think with proper planning Szeth could kill TLR in an assassination attempt. Get in close and spear throw Nightblood and you are good(their are plenty of other options as well as TLR does not take security seriously). Gladiatorial combat gets more interesting. Due to F speed TLR can land a bunch of realy nasty hits on Szeth before Szeth can do much. We do not yet know the extent of regrowth healing capabilities but odds don't seem great for Szeth. Even if TLR can't kill him via his normal methods he likely knows about aluminum's effect on healing(investiture can't heal wounds caused by aluminum) and Szeth has an aluminum sheath on him. IF he survives until TLR runns out of speed then I put think 50/50 odds sound about reasonable and if Szeth figures out that Reshek needs metal Reshek looses at this part of the fight because Szeth can just soulcast all of the available metal into blood.
  7. That is not the same thing as plate and due to the stormlight requirement is probably impracticable in most scenarios. Spren are not inherently wiser the other people but they are attracted to specific emotions and beliefs that humans have. Veil is not fake in any way that matters to the spren but she is also the type of person who would attract a Cryptic. She is just a different Shallan. Similarly Radiant does her best to maintain presence and be honorable and selfless. You know who she reminds me of the most? Elhokar. Another Lightweaver. Maintaining your lies and trying to be a Windrunner at the same time does not seem practical for her or anyone realy. Syl hates lies or dishonest behavior for a reason.
  8. Humans are what we choose to be so obviously we can attract different spren if we practice hard enough. Veil is fake though. She does not actually know anything Shallan does not nor does she realy have any qualities that Shallan is incapable of possessing. As Hoid told her. "That has always been you." However I think most spren would be wise enough to stay away from a person deranged enough to try and attract multiple spren.
  9. You are aware of how unhealthy this sort of behavior is right? Additionally a lightweaver can't "make personalities" we just use different parts of our own personalities. We see this with both Veil and Radiant. Neither of them possess qualities that Shallan does not have for all that they seem different.
  10. By this logic Lightweavers can easily become mistborn by lightweaving up some lerasium. Their would also be almost no reason for a lightweaver to advance in terms of oaths as they can just lightweave themselves to the 5th ideal. Or why not just add some Heralds to the battlefield via lightweaving?
  11. Hello, tell us about yourself.
  12. Also good points. I minor addition. With more stormform people you could potentially make the everstorm stronger and faster.
  13. What Dunkum said. I doubt you can get much out of a spike that has endured several hundred years of hm decay.
  14. We don't know if Adonalsium was a person and even if he was we have no idea how or why he got all the intents that he did. Harmony is only holding two opposite intents and he already finds doing much of anything rather difficult and this question is RAFO bait as Rshara said.
  15. I seriously doubt this is the case as by that logic Lightweavers can theoretically create sentient beings, or entire armies with enough stormlight of which their is an unlimited amount during highstorms.
  16. NEVER say that to a lightweaver. We have enough problems as it is. Illusion armor is not shardplate and never will be. If you think otherwise I advise you to try and cross the shattered plains in illusion armor and see how it goes.
  17. Does Brandon have anything to say himself?
  18. Or you might be on to something. Both possibilities should be examined as thoroughly as possible.
  19. The illusion of Radiant has plate. Make of that what you will.
  20. And in Pattern and in Syl and in Wyndal(even if he is a grouch)...
  21. I am going with mists on this one. Considering that a shard can gain information on basically anything just by thinking about it I am going to say that they are the most knowledgeable beings in the cosmere and should not be considered when asking questions about human capability.
  22. He no longer has adhesion.
  23. Considering we know next to nothing about spren culture I am not sure that that is significant in any way.
  24. He has not read Oathbringer yet delete this.
