  1. hahahahahahahahahahahah Did you write all the Hoid sequences?
  2. Cool theory. I can't currently think of anything that directly contradicts this yet but I always just assumed that the shattering happened in the spiritual realm(this is where most shards reside).
  3. The lord ruler's metalminds likely have a greater amount of investiture then say Wax's. This may or may not make a difference. I am also not sure that a division surge would destroy metalminds or that it can be used at range like soulcasting can. I also am not sure that soulcasting is instantaneous perhaps with compounded speed of thought and speed you might be able to decapitate the Herald before he or she can complete the process.
  4. How exactly? Also don't you get annoyed with them some times? No matter how many people are shooting at batman its hard to feel stakes when you know that every bullet is going to miss and unless there is kryptonite around superman is fine(magic works too but seriously).
  5. Hello. What is your theory on Trell?
  6. Sad. Why could we not have just remained British citizens?
  7. Sanderson's second law. The more limitations on a character or magic system the more interesting they are(paraphrased).
  8. Or just increase their strength to the point where the gravity field could not hurt them too much.
  9. Kaladin tried to talk him down several times prior to that. He told Moash he wanted him gone so that when they arrested the traitors he would not go down too. Moash disobeyed orders. I honestly think Moash was the one who was putting greater strain on their relationship (which is largely why I hate him so much). Sure but he does not know that Roshone manipulated the king. From his account Moash seems to think the king was just doing Roshone a favor.
  10. This one is the easiest. Adolin is a soldier. In hostile situations like the war taking an action is often more important then taking the right action. Doing something, anything is often smarter then waiting around so you can figure out what is going on. Kaladin knows that Dalinar's relationship with his nephew is important. Dalinar keeps going out of his way to make his nephew safe. He deduces why because he knows about Gavilar's assassination and because he also failed to protect his brother. Knowing this he figures out that to Dalinar Elhokar is a chance at redemption. None of this takes more information then Kaladin has.
  11. We realy are full on Brandonfans no? We are here constantly slontzeing about the last graphic novel in his least popular series whose ending we think we already know.
  12. Then why did he look at the old maps of the final empire to see how the contents were shaped before? The word is re-create. Sazed did not believe he had the capabilities to safely create his own ecology. Altering continent's shape too much would produce problems with the ecology. He did not change them physically. I believe the prevailing theory is that he altered their spiritual aspect.
  13. Dalinar is the Unity of Ages Lift is the Awesomeness of Ages Sadeas is the Eel of Ages Jasnah is the BA of Ages Moash is the **** of Ages
  14. He is also a storm. Storms destroy cities its kind of what they do. Expecting him to have compassion for the destruction of cities is not realistic. Remember when Kaladin tries to convince him to turn aside? I have a hard time believing that membership in Dalinar's army is not something that requires swearing your loyalty as a matter of course. I also doubt that Kaladin's word suffices for his men. Granted I have no direct proof but still. How do we know this? The king never saw Moash's face. Moash could have turned around and left the palace and no one would have known. I would argue that it was Moash who put Kaladin in a difficult situation as he forced Kaladin to choose between his oath and personal friendship not to mention his bridge four loyalty.
  15. Do you have a source? Always like to keep track of upcoming works.
  16. I don't have a physical one but there is a rather embarrassing memory that I dust off whenever I travel.
  17. You don't need to kill someone to win a fight. Just stake him to the ground, leach out his stormlight and start a research team on how to kill this guy.
  18. You have met Nightblood right? Ahh. That is much better. But what happens if they are separated? And what if your definitions of righteousness become out of date?
