I think I speak for all of them more empathic sharders when I say this. "Dude! Give Kaladin some peace!" Dalinar is currently Odium's champion. At least as I understand things. Can anyone clarify this? I believe Odium will find a way to make sure that he will have to surrender that status latter and if that is the case then the rest of your theory holds.

Are the Realms perpendicular to each other?
Karger replied to Ripheus23's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Like quantus said. Physical dimensions are of dubious value in the CR and SR. -
Until she gets mad. Then Mysterio is screwed. On a different note if Mysterio had actually been willing to put in the work I think he would make an extraordinarily interesting hero. He can't do much damage physically but his illusions could be a powerful asset fighting crime and or alien invasions.

Are all the cosmere star systems contiguous?
Karger replied to Ripheus23's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Everything except this seems at least somewhat reasonable. -
I am with Rob on both points. I will further add that we know per WoB that Vorinism does have relationships that are not matrimonial that are acceptable. Sabarials relationship with Palona is exclusive. I also doubt that she is amian because you know Sabarial would probably notice(she is his mistress). Kandra can perfectly mimic people so that is a possibility. As far as I know they are impossible to spot via none magical means. As to your presentation the only thing I would advise is that you break up your text a bit to avoid the "wall of text" effect.

Shardplate comes from the Radiant's Spiritual Identity/Web
Karger replied to Preventer Wind's topic in Stormlight Archive
forth Dead plate It got heavier, when? The only real major problem I have with this theory is that it means that a Radiant during combat would be taking hits on their soul. I find it difficult to believe that you can have your soul damaged and or broken without it being bad. Otherwise I think this theory is quite interesting. -
The broken one refers to Odium. Three of the 16 ruled but now the broken one reigns. How can a dead guy reign?
-
You forget that Mysterio is far more arrogant then Shallan. Given equivalent information about his past I think that Shallan could outwit Mysterio faster then you think. Additionally she has Pattern who can spot almost any illusion via things like lighting effects.

You are saying one of the shards is more limited then a shard powered bondsmith?
-
That is not the reason he is at the -1 ideal.

It was a failed attempt at being humorous but if you find it offensive I will delete the post.

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Karger replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
AAh. Thanks for that. When in a falling dream you try and lash yourself in a different direction. -
Thanks.

Hm Probably has the best chance of any Herald. Ishar, Pailah, Kelek, Ash, and Taln would be in various stages of trouble. She could still be hit by soothing. I wonder if in the CR soothing is like waves.
-
Agreed but soulcasters don't usually work at speeds that are particularly useful in combat. Ordinary soulcasters seem to take several seconds of humming before they do anything. Against stealrunner speed I don't think that is useful. Yes Jasnah is capable of faster methods but I still suspect steel might be faster. Even if not there is no Herald that can do both gravitation and soulcasting.
-
If a soulcaster successfully gets rid of TRL's metalminds I think the rest of the combat is going to be fairly short. They would likely have to touch the floor first which does take a second. I also think for some reason (although I can't think why) that it takes some time to expand lashing fields over wider areas. How exactly is the Lashing effecting a constantly compounding fullborn. They must be extremely invested. If you can and do find a way to get rid of the metalminds then the fullborn looses. If you can't for whatever reason then the fullborn can tap healing strength and speed enough to invalidation or at least weaken the lashing locally and Hulk punch the Herald hard enough that their head explodes.

My person theory is that Dalinar is actually how Odium figured out how to bond humans.

Only two WoBs mention dullform.
-
I thought Dullform was unbonded and slaveform a crippled version of the forms.

A supremely bad one who is currently at the -1st ideal. Yup Thank you. I personally see flash as a more realistic bully and high school student then previous iterations as apposed to any attempt to merge characters.
-
Yes. TLR was more powerful then any Mistling or Mistborn currently alive. Assuming correct procedures were followed you can get a much stronger spike from him then anyone else.
-
Thank you for making me look up the difference. To Dalinar though I think the difference would be minimal. Brandon likes to influence his readers by writing from the perspective of the narrator at the time. Dalinar might not know the word brazing.
-
Was that just directed at me or has awesomeness been downgraded? In all seriousness this is an extremely cool theory. Much better then "lets just add all the shards we can think of together," that crops up to often on the forms. I particularly like the teamwork aspect(something that Dalinar has struggled with). Just one problem. Why didn't Honor do this himself if it was possible?
-
We actually have seen individuals capable of damaging something's physical aspect in some of Brandon's unpublished work. I personaly don't see why you would bother damaging something in shadesmar and I have no idea of the consequences of such an action.
