How long does it take to join the newsletter?

Does it ask for a real name? Also did you use the correct email and spell it correctly? -
All of them?

Maul is awesome. So naturally they killed him after three lines and maybe 10 minutes of screen time. I really would recommend against doing that. Star Wars original is fantastic but if you have it equated to star wars prequels in your mind it will not work well. They have aged great! The soundtrack is unparalleled the fights scenes are perfect the story is well told. The military uses computers like that in real life. Older computers are less prone to bugs and more secure. If you are into space stuff you think this a prudent stylistic choice. Cloud city still gives me the chills. Luke is so utterly outmatched that he has to basically commit suicide just to get away. The battles do not involve hordes of easily kill able drones that our heroes destroy causally. Luke trying to redeem Vader is central to who he is he never gives up hope. As to the emperor. He new that once Luke did something he considered irredeemable Luke would despair and become easily manipulated. It is. Makes sense to me. Vader was wary considering we knew they had history together. Obi-Wan was simply stalling. STAR WARS IS FANTASY NOT SF! Deep breath. The prequels also had terrible CGI and many of those worlds are places I did not want to know about(Naboo). You are referencing some of the good parts. Allow me to counter with horrible horrible dialogue, the fact that Obi-Wan is not the main character, anikan(whose name shall not be capitalized), midaclorines(which shall not be spelled correctly), Jar Jar, antisemitic and racist aliens, and the fact that Padme falls for sand as apposed to the awesome jedi Obi-Wan who is right there. Which have taken a turn for the worse ever since they let The Last Jedi be released. I agree with you that the prequel era has its moments but the movies themselves are utter garbage.

Is it Possible to get Atium and Lerasium from Harmonium
Karger replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Mistborn
The two shards have actually merged. They have a single dual intent now. I personally theorize the mists are now primarily of Ruin and work because be Harmony's intent shoring up a system by adding energy also makes it more volatile. Nearly any substance will exist in the state you want it to if you put it at the correct temperature and pressure. -
Patji's perpendicularity.

So small, Dalinar thought. Has he always looked that small?
Karger replied to Ixthos's topic in Stormlight Archive
Basically. I don't think it was realmatics it was more he saw how useless and silly Odium was. -
Agreed. Clone Wars are a masterpiece(can't wait until February when they are going to finish it). They do some excellent work to fix the prequel era. However on their own the movies are terrible.

The prequels are terrible. No more needs to be said.

Stick remain a glorious stick. I have discovered the Stick's backstory!

Perhaps if you and your partner or your sibling compound connection to each other?

Yeah and Teft is an addict. Might not be a good idea(there is often crossover). Also don't Alethi disapprove of drunken behavior in public to the point where some people think them prudish?

I think it was finished a while ago.

You don't need voice over have him visualy show despair while mumbling conspiracy theories about how Dalinar hates him and wanted and excuse to get rid of him while Syl tries to cheer him up while dying. Think about how depressing that would look on your TV screen! Have him take a hit smile and say "no one could have saved him" like a boss while getting up.

Alright here is my reading on things. 1. Herdaz is portrayed as a poorer kingdom with an access of labor(this is why so many of their people end up in Alethkar). When their is an access of intelligent, cheap labor you don't really need slave(parshendi) labor. Also your intelligent laborers will likely resent parshendi laborers so it makes sense to higher them instead. This means that Herdaz initially had a fairly low concentration of awakened parshmen. This means that after the everstorm Herdaz did not suffer nearly as many of the effects of having parshmen become hostiles. 2. Herdaz is a flat kingdom. This leads to several effects. Highstorms are worse so buildings are likely sturdier. This means that the everstorm did less damage to their infrastructure. They also likely have designed their fields so that crops are more resistant to the winds so food shortages are less of a problem. 3. When I see flat kingdom between two large hostile countries I think Poland. Poland has a history(as does Herdaz) of being a battleground for hostile neighbors. Taravangian notes it is a traditional place for Alethi conquests to begin. This means that the citizens and military of Herdaz are used to being invaded by superior forces and to having to fight asymmetric wars. So Herdaz is an annoyingly tough nut for Odium's forces to crack. However it is located in a place where it can not easily be given assistance. It is surrounded by Odium's forces so while they consolidate their rule they just ignore it more or less. They might send in shock troops from time to time but honestly the only logical move for Herdaz's government is probably to submit anyway. So why bother invading? Meanwhile Herdaz is not part of Dalinar's coalition as of the end of Oathbringer. That and its geographic location means sending aid there really does not make much sense. The only people you can actually send are your Windrunners of which you have about 5. Sure you can add their squires but even then it is not enough to fight the hundreds of reincarnating flying fused. Dalinar might have had to write off Herdaz as doomed. He could have sent a windrunner or two to evac some important people but other then that what can he do?

Knowing Brandon we will end up hating whoever kills him.

We don't know what Hoid's relationship with Trell is.

Ironsides anticipated the destruction of the DDF and kept it around for as long as possible. If you see any actual options for her that would let her keep things going I invite you to share them. Keep in mind that you are speculating with your entire civilization at the time.

Is there a way other than Hemalurgy to become a Ferachemist .
Karger replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Mistborn
Define "natural." I am unsure about seers. I am hoping we have some people who can burn trellium. -
Agreed. Agreed. Same. I kind of wanted more of that, One of the best parts of Skyward was the secondary human characters and Spensa's interactions with them. Her curent flight does not have the same magic. I also thought that the end was a bit rushed and not always in a good way. Still it is a solid read. Will be rereading now and will post that reaction next.

In that case this would be one of the possibilities 4, 5 or 6(I eddied 6 to make it more comprehensive). I also meant that he failed to avoid discovery not that he would be unable to complete his mission(sorry if that is confusing). I agree with you on point 2. Kaladin should bring some squires with him. They won't slow him down much and they won't be much use anywhere else particularly the low ranked ones like Lyn who don't have special skills(as far as we know). They could use some kind of future sight(Odium is rather well known for it), they could be using a mole(T comes to mind but I would imagine that Odium's forces have a netweork of traitorous humans by now), they could have spotted Kaladin flying(all/most skybreakers work for Odium and there are not many Windrunners also Kaladin is quite prominent I imagine that the fused have a quite a bit of information on him) or depending on the method they might be intercepting their messages.

It had a supernatural element. Think about the timing.
