  1. They could go either way. The Indus valley civilization for example built houses in specific shapes so that winds would be directed in a manmer that cooled them. On Roshar people would naturally get together in places in which Windblades shielded them from storms because those places were safer. Weather humans are building formations to keep them safe or just taking advantage of natural places I don't know although the size of the windblades and the strata suggest the former.
  2. Hm. That still does not answer the question about why Odium finds good Dalinar so scary.
  3. That does seem to be the consensus and I personally think it makes the most sense. to the best of my knowledge we don't actually have any information on how one would go about picking up a splintered shard. As to him killing part of Dalinar. That is an interesting theory but who would the we be? The royal we?
  4. A bit insensitive. Yomen did found it and Marsh features prominently in their religion but we don't know anything about them.
  5. My real question is where silverism fits in during all of this. We know practically nothing about them.
  6. His ability is generally believed to be a function of his singer heritage.

    Mixed Blessings

Yes. Brandon has also said that more then four types of blessing that we have seen are possible.

This is really the only relevant WoB that I could find. According to the coppermind but the WoB referenced is so I am going to edit it.
  9. Pathians see him as just a political or historical figure would be my guess. According to Marasi he is more of a force. He doesn't do much and is pretty impartial. As such praying to him is not a particularly effective way of getting things done. The Historica seems to be claimed as canonical by both pathians and survivorists. The Words of Founding are just a record like a library. The Historica just tells people about what actually happened during the war of ash and immediately prior. Ascribing divine intention or fate of some kind to figures in it is possible but it is left up to the reader.
  10. *chanting* RIP RIP RIP RIP
  11. Sja-anat says that "we were made and then unmade" and Shallan has the impression that the midnight mother is looking for something that she has lost. Their name also implies that they were once something and then changed. Ishar was one of Odium's most intractable, knowledgeable, and dangerous opponents. I have a hard time believing that he would do such a thing. We also have evidence of Unmade operating during the Heraldic epochs well before he broke. Doing that kind of thing is like mistborn spoilers.

    Missionaries

Yes. That could be much more complicated. Although the media frenzy around a survivor sighting is going to be huge.
  13. Kelek still had his blade during the prologue of WoKs and felt the pain and fear anyway. Also even with his blade Taln was hardly lucid. He is actually dead. His Cognitive shadow was absorbed by the stormfather but he is very much dead. We have references to radiants deciding where to build it so that is somewhat doubtful although still possible. That might kill her. Shards naturally exist in all three realms and mostly in the spiritual. Moving a shard from the spiritual realm to the cognitive may be how Odium splintered both. It seems more like their control over their own power is reduced although the only examples we have are on scadrial. mistborn spoilers. Given that shards are omnipresent at all times and at all three levels how would you cut off access to any one realm(this is a really important question as it relates to how Odium kills)? Also Honor clearly states that Odium killed him. Her future sight was still working so she could clearly use the spiritual realm. As to how she talked to Dalinar that is something shards can do(sort of warp all three realms I think WoB about it somwhere).
  14. Of course.
  15. To forswear in this context means to go back on or brake. I think the fastest way to do this would be apathy. Stop caring about life and weather what you are doing is right.
  16. Do we have enough now? I think with @Coda that makes 16.
  17. Lift does not notice the Truthwatcher spren sent to bond the Stump. Syl is not invisible to Rock and since Timbre is surrounded by listeners we don't know if she is visible or not.
  18. Welcome!
  19. Although interestingly it was supposedly built "in the place nearest Honor" whatever that means.
  20. Odium took credit for the attack.
  21. The mists may have been localized.
  22. Please no.
  23. I think they are like fused. We know from Adolin's and Dalinar's PoVs that they are intelligent and twisted singers(fused) are really a kind of spren by the rosharan lexicon.
