  1. Thank you for catching that I missed her. I will add her immediately. Done!
  2. I personally think of it as diverting a river. You still get the "force" of allomancy but it flows through a pathway decided by the trait stored rather then by the metal.
  3. The ocean in shadesmar has a bottom. I think it has something to do with how large bodies of water are seen as single entities by most people.
  4. In order. I think the warmth and life is actually coming from Dalinar's own expanded soul(this happens when you are exposed to a lot of investiture). Nohadon himself is Dalinar looking into the spiritual realm and putting out a vision of an ideal king through his own cognitive understanding. The other visions follow suit and ditto for writing Oathbringer. Dalinar is touching capital T truth and his mind can't fully make sense of it so he interprets it as light. Similarly Evi is the spiritual aspect of Evi that has stuck around. The ideal of Evi. Not her mind but her soul. The soul actually does stick around for a while in the cosmere even if the mind and awareness do not. Because of Dalinar's expanded connection he can still feel what the idea of her would say to him through his own cognitive understanding. As to the we killed you comment I personally think Dalinar is evoking the consent of Adanalsium. The idea of all things in one and that this concept is extremely frighting maybe even painful to Odium who rejects even the idea of being part of a greater whole. I know of some places where this was talked about. I may be able to post some links latter.
  5. Taln kissed Ash once. She's still blushing, Rosharans call her Sun.
  6. Yes. Also Welcome to the shard~
  7. Also if you still use the same email you can search your inbox for the original welcome email. It has your name in it.
  8. The book was dated IIRC. People had some knowledge of the feruchemists but many believed them to have been wiped out at various points.
  9. Henceforth King Overlooked Stone shall be called mountain yogi esoteric boi! Is your wife a redhead? The entire bridge crew is often portrayed mostly in the nude. Given the their living conditions Kaladin says they mostly lost any body modesty a long time ago. Also it seems to me like a defense mechanism. "I am meek and female. I could not possibly be a threat to anyone." Elhokar was wearing a proper Vorin hava remember?
  10. How? That was Kaladin's perspective. However Dalinar sees it as important politically as does Gavilar. Sadeas specifically finds the lands in the same region as Hearthstone important for that reason. They are good agriculturally.
  11. I think that is pretty clear. By persecute we mean kill or imprison BTW so not really a calm down moment.
  12. Any land ownership qualifies you automatically for the fifth dahn so I would say it definitely matters. Kaladin mentions being involved in meaningless land disputes and Dalinar fought in border wars.
  13. I am up for this. Especially if I get to be on the rip it side...
  14. People are scared of NB because... and more importantly
  15. Not really kind of sort of. Point taken. Still I think my solution is the simplest and most elegant as it solves multiple problems.
  16. Upon call become my fingers and grip that which I must. I double checked.
  17. One of the few benefits of being quarantined with limited things to keep me occupied. Do you have any further questions or concerns?
  18. That really depends of the inhabitants of the dessert. Some desserts have fairly diverse and intelligent animals. Others have only a few specialized bacteria. Uninhabited planets don't yet register at all in the CR and all of these are subject to change over time. If humans visit and or enact changes on desserts the results can be dramatic.
  19. I think it seems reasonable to call it a Command. A carpet responds to it immediately without any further instructions. You could note that its effects are unclear.
  20. Wow great work! I am also flattered that you thought of me. Could you explain exactly what it is you need help with? The list itself seems comprehensive.
  21. So I tried not to consider that in my calculations because gods are involved and literally anything could happen. However while that is one example where a large die off benefited mankind there are plenty where it did not. If the fused decide to burn libraries or successfully manage to destroy Urithiru while most of the politicians and scholars of roshar are in attendance and burn the palanium to the ground then Roshar could actually regress technologically. Also with the loss of parshmen and the new weather patterns wide scale famine is a possibility which might shrink urbane centers and other places of learning. Agreed. Are they?
  22. Decent. Considering it is fanfiction I don't think you really need any spoilers. Also everyone should be up to date since the six months have passed.
