I think personally that Endowment has it way easier then any shard we know of except maybe Harmony because of the whole on a planet where I can just take as many free shots as I want thing. When you have all the time in the world to practice and an open field making a few bullseyes is not nearly as impressive. Still this is really a wait and see situation.

Much is made of the inconsistencies and weird logic or the wizarding world but I think it is telling that you can read the story and not be confused on what is happening or why. Our world doesn't make much sense to me either after all. As soft magic systems go I think JK did some excellent work. We don't fully know what works or why but we do know enough that the plot stays together. As to lack of character growth. Dudders has a character arc that is real and makes sense! Snape's motivations are guessable and make a degree of sense. Our three mains get increasingly sophisticated while remaining themselves. Honestly I think great work was done there.

Oathbringer sheds some light. Basically it is a form of negative solidarity. By being us we can be better then them. However if you look or act like them then you are not us. Sadeas just needed them to be aggressive and reasonably capable. He did not care what they were besides that and spent no effort creating esprit de corps or a sense of pride in themselves or each other.

I think Jasnah is starting to get Shallan. Lightweavers by our nature generally have good intentions we are just super unreliable. Agreed. Wit is a free agent. He may prove helpful but he is not really a member of team radiant. He is here to do his own thing. I think a large segment of the population will still never trust him. Szeth is a first rate example of what happens when a radiant gets out of hand. Rosharans see future sight as devilish and Renarin does not consider himself trustworthy or reliable(for good reason I might add). He admitted to Shallan in Kholinar that he was older then the Heralds. He already has top marks in my books but killing a god is not really a verifiable event. The only reason people on another cosmere world know is because the whole story was written down.

They have contraceptives on scadrial era 1. Humans have had birth control methods for centuries in the real world. Also Renarin exists as a backup. I also think Shallan has more important things to do then have a baby considering she is the only known lightweaver on the planet and having a baby while at war is probably inadvisable. Venli knows about the existence of the KR from the stories and her interactions with Dalinar and they can find and interact through the visions now that Odium can't confront Dalinar.

As someone with(apparently) a high Dustbringer aptitude(according to the KR quiz) I agree to an extent with this assessment. My actions may appear spontaneous or aggressive but the basis for Dustbringer decision making seems to be taking an action immediately rather then figuring out the correct action and then taking it. However I think Adolin is more of a people pleaser an ethos that is very much connected to what we know about Edgedancers. For him good is what makes people happy regardless of weather the action is destructive in nature or not.

Brandon is currently working diligently on SA4 and agree wholeheartedly that he should not be disturbed. That being said once that and the Rysn novella have been put to bed I think the sheer number of short stories he has in the works make another Arcanum Unbounded collection an urgent project. Just my memory without reference tells me that Brandon currently has at some stage of completion or outline: A Lopen Story(or The Lopen story), Nicki Savage, A Sixth of the Dust Sequel, Rock's Novella, and Mistborn Secret History 2. The last two would also be great for increasing interest in SA5 and The Lost Metal respectively. I also being a megafan find that I get a lot more information and sometimes enjoyment out of Brandon's short stories and he can often write them faster. As such I think it would be nice if he released another collection sometime in the more immediate future.

We know from the dramatic ending of HoA that if one burns all of a temporal metal (in this case atium) then they get a full of stars moment that allows them to see into the spiritual realm. Because of this shouldn't Electrum Nicrosil combo burners be everywhere gaming the stock market, messing with Harmony's foresight, and generally making scadrial a more mystical place? Or does this only work with atium but something else weird happen with gold and electrum. Basically what does this WoB mean when it says "more interference".
