So far, they are better than anything that I have read within Era 2, in my opinion. That was the opinion that some do not share with me.

Sreris reminds me a little of Jasnah. Era 1 is pretty awesome. I have only read 1.5 Era 2 books. The last 100 pages of The Hero of Ages is beautiful work (as is the whole book, but really).

But the way that he is always killing plot-important pople is really annoying.

Vin was sixteen when they met. He was 21 or 22. So technically... But that does not mean I like his character any less. Although I must say that I prefer Vin's character and interesting struggles. It was simply just one bad thing people like to say about Sanderson books.
