Could the 16 shards of Adonalsium be put back together somehow? I know it is not likley but I thought that it might be worth looking into.

So another omam fan! So what exactly do you think of when you hear the song King and Lionheart? -
In which case, what do you think of using the hook like a Kama?

Thank you for welcoming me! I think I'll do Ark 2 after I finnish Words of Radience for a second time. It would be nice for Vin and Elend to have an afterlife. RIP Vin and Elend. (it feels really wierd saying that being what my name is and all) I like Of Monsters And Men as well as Arkona and Bastille. Wierd, huh. You? -
So I made a few quick sketches during the work week so I couldn't put a lot of time into them. Here they are. The first one is Vin's only dagger. (she broke the other in the 2nd part of The Final Empire) The second one is Vin at the 2nd part of The Final Empire. The third one is the shardblade called Oathbringer.

Spren killing each other in physical realm

Yeah, there is really no reason to kill them in the physical realm.- 13 replies

I get the gyst of what you are saying. But if the force that holds a section of armor is actually just sealing the pieces together like it does on a helmet visor than the forces needed should be equal and it would be just as hard to pucture it as it would be to tear it off.

Killing gloryspren would be easy but depressing. What if you stabbed the ground or water directly beneath the glorytoung sticking out of the ground?- 13 replies

It seems that there was a misunderstanding. I addressed the first topic, ripping the plates clean off the storming armor with a hook by saying: "isn't the armor [that being armor sections] together with magic?". That means that the sections can not be seperated without lots of force. Shard plate is broken by very powerful trauma or very sharp blades. Niether of these traits are held by a dude with nothing but a hook to pull on the armor with. Then I addressed the second topic. That was my idea of swinging the hook of the sword and impacting the armor plate with the point of the swordhook. Reread my original reply to you and you will see my idea.

Isn't the armor held together magically? I was thinking that perhaps having the force multiplyer of a swinging six foot long sword behind the stab of the hook being much more powerful than a normal thrust it would take quite a few less strikes to destroy a section.

Thank you!

Indeed. It does seem to get cracked sooner the more energy is delivered into it per an area. This would increase the ammount of energy delivered to any certain location it is brought onto with force. Here is a two minute sketch of how I imagine Oathbringer to look:

#fullplatekaladindropkick Storming awesome.
-
Yeah, Radiants are almost as storming overpowered as the storming stormfather himself. Hyperbole detected. But still, they are very powerful.
-
No problem, I was being too hasty. I could see some advantage on having the shard edge + the concentrated point. Check out a kama vs armor test. Thatway you could do flamestance, windstance, etc. as well as some of the "shardhammer" based attacks.
-
I was not specific. I meant that Oathbringer might damage shardplate more having all the force nconcentrated on one point. I will go edit and make it somewhat clerer.

Spren killing each other in physical realm
Elend Venture replied to Elend Venture's question in Cosmere Q&A
Oh, huh, thanks for the info. I figured so but I felt like the toung was still a lot more revealed than that of the fearspren or "freedomspren" as Shallan calls them. But what you say makes more sense. Thanks again- Elend- 13 replies

However if you attacked a fellow waering shardplate it would still be a force multiplyer and would all be focused on one point. The books are based on physics so it probably would be more dangerous.

Spren killing each other in physical realm
Elend Venture replied to Elend Venture's question in Cosmere Q&A
Thankyou, sir! I have wondered this for some time but found this forum and I no longer have to go ignorant. It just dosn't seem moral to go Shardsmacking windspren, anticipationspren, and whatnot, even if they can't think much. I think rainspren are so creepy lookingthat they may be a good way to practice soul-severing being that they, along with windspren and anticipationspren seem more fully in the phisical realm. Also, do you think that there are snowspren?- 13 replies
