Chuck Norris was a mythical being capable of impossible feats. He might’ve roundhouse kicked Ink so hard they forgot about him, because it is impossible not to know of him.
SpoilerMore seriously, Chuck Norris was an action star and martial artist. Chuck Norris jokes attribute impossible feats of strength and power to him and used to be very popular, they were peak humor like 10-15 years ago (and still remain peak in my opinion).
Also, what’s with the “Through the Living” username thingy? Is it like the Ookla thing?

I'm so sorry to everyone I was roleplaying with...it's just not working out sis and I'm sorry.
I will be trying to be more active on here especially now that my girl @Radiant_Sunflower_10 is here!!! However, please consider all role-play characters inactive....I'm sorry @Lunamor
Since the school year is picking up, I won't be on with the regularity I used to have a few months ago.

A short time ago on the "Having a bad day" thread I panicked as my work contract was expiring and I was filled with dread at the possibility that my wife and I would be left without any sort of income. Thank G-d I received today a contract extending me for a year (whereas before it was 6 months at a time) I was also informed today that because of my work performance they want to write a profile on me for the next company newsletter!!

Hopefully that's everyone.
This isn't a "good bye" SU. It's more of me saying that I'm taking a step back from the shard, especially in regards to RP. I have very much enjoyed the RP I've done, but it's taking up my time and energy. I'm hoping that I can get back to doing the things I need and want to do by removing myself completely, or, at least almost completely, from RP. I know this inconveniences you, and I'm sorry for that, but it's something I feel needs to happen.
@Lunamor and all others in Percy Jackson RP,
I can either have Edgar gent sent back to camp because of his injuries or he can die. I don't really have a preference.
@Anguished_One @The Aspiring Archivist, in regards to My Turn
I'm not sure what to do here, sorry. I guess Freja could die trying to avenge her sister or something.
I know I said I was going to participate in Hunger Games, but I'm going to have to take that back.
I think I or the RP itself is already inactive for the other one's I am in.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling like this. I know how it feels. It really sucks. I’ve got some advice/encouragement if you want it, but I know that sometimes that’s not very helpful in the moment.
SpoilerWhat’s helped me is focusing on the fact that while I can’t necessarily “fix” the parts of me that feel broken, I can learn to stop them from controlling me. It’s not easy, and for a while I didn’t think it was possible. But things do get better. I know that’s really cliche, but it’s still true. It wasn’t an overnight thing, it was a long series of steps. After a while I looked back and realized how far I’d come. Along the way it had felt like nothing was getting better, and that was really discouraging, but I had been actually making progress. Everything’s not perfect, but I don’t think perfection is possible for anyone. And while I don’t know you too well, from what I’ve seen, you’re an amazing person.

Sorry for slow replies to Reckoners RP.
Will probably be dropping Parry. Not a huge fan of him right now + it doesn't work well with the quicker, shorter posts from the two he's interacting with. This also lets me pick up on a new character idea haha. And I need to revamp Fish's powers again due to the mega difference between him and Sundew.

Was reading the old Reckoners RP (Edmonton reboot) and... my writing style has changed quite a bit? I can't figure out how to write like I used to, and I like the way I used to write. I think I've actually gotten worse at writing!
Glad to bring headers back to my RP characters as well
. Bonus points if you know where Parry's header is from.

It’s funny, I think my rp style has greatly improved (it hurts to read some of the old stuff
) but my regular writing is honestly the same. I think the expanded Girl Who Looked Up I wrote back in 2019 is still my best work. I haven’t really managed to reach that level again, although my version of The Wandersail came pretty close in my opinion (*cough cough* shameless plug *cough cough*).
And the headers are super cool!

I finally worked up the motivation to start writing an extended version of The Wandersail, and I’m so storming excited about it! It’s going to be a lot harder than The Girl Who Looked Up because I have to write my own dialogue and have actual named characters. But reading Tress and Yumi has really helped me figure out the tone and I’m really proud of the intro I’ve written.
