  1. He thought about what Jügen said, rolling the words around in his head. I'll have to remember those ones. He looked towards Amara. "Will you tag along? It's the least I could do in return for kindness." @Sorana
  2. Mutig staggered to his feet, keeping weight off the foot out of habit. "What's a senses?" He asked, pondering the word, "maybe the crowed is leading to it, want ride?"
  3. "With pleasure." Mutig lay down, allowing Amara to inspect the leg. "To answer you, I know a decent amount of basic words, like greeting words. " he paused. "Did I say that right?"
  4. The two guards seemed doubtful but gave in. "Just keep him out of trouble" the first guard said, then they moved on. Mutig let out a sigh of relief, "thanks a ton, I don't think I caught your names, I'm Mutig."
  5. He put on his most innocent face. "Need healer." He then indicated his slightly busted leg, keeping his weight off it. "Heard she was here" , indicating Armara, "Heard she healer".
  6. Mutig watched the crowd's moving around, people buying things, people selling things. He soon came to the conclusion that this wouldn't be too hard to move among them, as he saw other animals moving through the crowd as well. With a deep breath, he stepped out onto the street... And immediately realized his mistake, he was possibly the only grizzly bear in this city. He stood on his hind legs, trying to get a better view of his surroundings. Soon, two guards came up to him, one waving his spear to catch his attention. "What's your business here?" The man called up. Mutig paused, trying to think. so much noise! he thought. He went back to all fours, and moved towards the city gate, and spotted two figures. One was a female with a bag, the other a male with a long bow. Maybe they can help me out, if anything, maybe that woman knows the city. "Hey!" The first guard yelled now, they had both been following him, "What's your business here in the city!" Mutig, in probably the most fool-hearty motion in his life, he moved towards them, swiftly stepping up beside the woman and whispered. "Help." Then, against everything his mind said was right, he acted like a doll animal, pretending as best he could to be a pet. @Sorana @Steel Inquisitive
  7. Mutig stirred from his slumber by a smell of wolves, he made a deep growl, a clear message to anything near by to buzz off. He got up and stretched, calmly taking in what was happening. It was night, something with a wolf scent had past him and was at the city. He smelled more wolves but ignored them, as they where only normal wolves. Here is my chance to enter, he thought, the guard's busy, and the river leading into the city was deep. He slipped into the water for the third time in 24hours, took a deep breath, then dove as deep as he could. He then began feeling his way through the river, searching for a cap for air. Finally, his lungs burning, he came up at the entrance to a tunnel leading into the city's lower levels. He took a deep breath and moved on, slowly working into the city's lower levels until he was sure of two things: the wolf creature couldn't follow his scent, and the outer guards wouldn't notice him. "Now for some sleep." Mutig calmly laid down again, knowing he would be busy the next day for certain.
  8. Mutig hid a little ways from the city, it daunted him how so many humans could be in one place at the same time. But this didn't stop him, he had a mission, and he intended to see if through. He knew he couldn't go marching into the city, he was far to big and out of place for that. Perhaps a merchant can give my message to the authorities? He doubted this plan, as he knew most humans responded with terror when they encountered him. Then, as if to give him another try, he caught the sound of a boat heading down the river towards the city. He drew close to the river bank, watching the merchant boat drifting down the current. It seemed as if these merchant's weren't worried, as none where visible, at least, as best he could see. He slipped into the water, half swimming, half walking on the river bed. He crabed the boat with his front paws, forcing it to a jarring stop in the water, he heard the crew cry out in alarm below deck. He yanked the boat to the shoreline, pushing it onto the land. By now it's crew was on deck, three thugs and the merchant himself. "STOP IT!" the merchant screamed, " KILL IT! " One thug tried slamming a studded club on Mutig's paw, but he hardly noticed. The other two bailed out, running downstream yelling. The third tried again with his club but now Mutig smacked the club out of his hands, throwing him over the side and into the mud. Mutig looked towards the merchant, who was trying to pack a bag with valuables. Mutig caught him in his jaws, and threw him on the shore, then towered over him. "NORTHERN BORDER, DANGER!" Mutig roared, his face close to the merchant's own. He roared two more times into the merchant, then threw him back on the boat and pushed it spinning back into the river, a petrified merchant laying on it's deck. Mutig looked after the boat, then smiled to himself. This is funner than I thought, he said in his deep bear accent. He left the thug who had tried stopping him, knowing the other two would eventually be back and find him there, with a broken arm. He lumbered off, crossing the river and disappearing.
  9. Yeah I spotted the profits mistake after zinc said the right word
  10. Perfect! I now have two ways into this city with my message, travelers, or poor people in the slums.
  11. I don't know how, so I trust you ( also, I might mess something up, and set things back time wise).
  12. That was the idea for the travelers, unless someone wanted to be a normal person being stood up by a 12' grizzly. If things don't start moving and nothing happens (regarding the message) I can try finding my way into the slums and lower levels of the city. After all, if their flooded, that means there's a water entrance I could enlarge and get in by.
  13. I was thinking a vigilante cult that had killed his guardian. I have been considering how to insert Mutig into the RP, and was toying with the idea that he sent traveler's into the city to feel his news, or he started trying to discretely find a way into the capital. Considering his hate for cults, and him still learning the language, I think the first plan would work (logically) more.
  14. I was told to post my character here. If there is somewhere else then let me know. Mutig Bärin the grizzly. Name: Mutig Bärin Species: grizzly bear Physical Characteristics: 12 feet tall (on his hind legs), weighs about 900 pounds, grayish/brown fur, thick skin, strong and healthy. Deep blue eyes, sharp teeth. Investure: Natural magic, Apex bear, powerful roar that can be heard for miles enhanced sniffing capability. Personality: See's himself as a symbol of justice. Tends to study those around himself. Likes being with children, as they don't fear him as much as adults do. Will wait until a fight is at its height, then goes directly for the enemy leader, caring little for who he tramples in his wake. Is fascinated by ritual magic. Skills: learning the language of Kuria. Has a powerful bite that will break bones and ruin armor. His muscles are strong enough to send grown men flying for a few yards. His roar has the commanding authority to strike fear in the hearts of men. Weakness: suffers from a mangled back paw since he was young. Can't see well, his lack of human ways of thinking can lead to him irritated and sometimes even angry. Although he is most times calm, he will lose his calm at the mere mention of a cult following (due to his past encounters with cults). Considers most other animals and monsters as weak, making him vulnerable to traps. Backstory: Mutig was found by a village in a trap, his hind leg had been broken and he was in agony. the locals guardian, who could speak with animals and understand them, decided to take him in and nurture him to health, seeing it as the right thing to do. After Mutig had healed, she (the guardian) tried releasing him back into the wild, but he wouldn't leave the village, staying close to the first person who found him( the town's guardian). Soon the village began praising him as a guardian, and when monsters attacked the village, he and the guardian fought with all they had. The locals called them hero's, they said Mutig was unbreakable, crafting him slowly into the protector they hoped for. They (the guardian and Mutig) were inseparable, that is until the day she(the guardian) was killed by a group of people who called themselves profits for the God of Kuria. Mutig responded by killing the profits, sparing not one of them. This began his new legend as a vengeful guardian. He was sent by the village of brat (the small marker in northern Kuria, I couldn't read the name, sorry) to inform the capital of bandits growing bolder and raiding the country, slowly establishing forts along the river. let me know if this is balanced ( I was really trying) and if he is okay to use. If not, I can think of something else to use.

  17. Nakome stamped the figurine with a stamp to not only mend cracks and splinters, it also set new lines, carving around the legs and forming lone knight radiance, summoning their shard blades. She could since the young craftsman starring at her. "Be sure to keep the stamp intact." She said and walked on to find the lower floors. When Nakome made it to floor one, she snatched a walking staff and headed for the front doors. She stopped at the door, and turned to the receptionist. "Debbie?" She spoke calmly and bluntly, "perhaps you should try getting out of bed an hour sooner, and maybe you won't be late on arriving." She saw Debbie's eyes open wide, then turned and headed out.
  18. Nakome slashed at her training dummy, making it's right arm swing in a wide ark for her head. She went to one knee, hearing the wooden arm of the dummy whoosh over her head. Pressing closer, she sprang up beside it, stabbing the throat piece and, with a shudder, stopped the dummy from swinging again. Nakome stepped back from the dummy, sweating just enough to be noticed. You lose again, she thought. After a she wiped her face with a rag. She looked out of the fifth floor window and spotted a business man heading for the building. I'll let Valath handle him, she thought, and after storing her pain knife in her right sleeve, she went to see what was going on. When she went down she checked on some of the craftsman who she busy at work. She spotted a nice figurine on one table, though it could still use a little touching up. "Lady Nakome." She turned and saw the craftsman who must have been new, for no one in the store called Nakome 'lady '. "Yes, what is it?" " lady Valath requested that I ask you to add the final touches on my work . " the young man replied, seeming a little nervous now. Nakome rolled her eyes. "Fine, take me to it."
