  1. Yeah sorry about the time confusion. I had thought it was night for some storming reason. @everyone
  2. "See you then, goodnight." With that, Mutig continued to the stable.
  3. "I had enough trouble on my own, I think it will work best if we go together." He glanced at Jügen, "I can meet you here early, or later at noon?" @Sorana, @Steel Inquisitive
  4. Mutig bowed his head in respect. "Thank you, that will be a heavenly place compared to last night."
  5. Mutig snorted, the feelings mutual. finishing his drink, he stood and stretched. "Welp, I'm off for a nap, shall I meet you guys here, or at the census?" @Sorana, @Steel Inquisitive, @Vargo Seldon
  6. Mutig stiffened, starring Algorath in the eye. "Someone?" He asked, almost amused, "I've seen your kind in action, I witnessed a village murdered by one of you impures. Not because he was threatened, not to feed, not to make a statement. He did it because he could." He looked deeper into Algoraths eyes, " I don't doubt your different, I simply have a problem accepting an animal that murders innocents just for the fun of it, and can you accept that? " With that, Mutig went back to his drink. @Vargo Seldon,
  7. "To be honest, I am not sure." He said, thinking about his last time in Brat, the town he'd spent his whole life guarding. "I may try heading into another kingdom, maybe I'll see what I can do to evolve further from magic." He looked at Amara, "where will you go?" @Sorana
  8. "You may take half of my portion, I have little need for it." Mutig said, then returned to his drink. @Sorana
  9. "No." He said downcast, "see, in the animal world there is a distinct law, summed up by six words: I owe you, and you owe me. I owe you for helping with my leg, I tried repaying that debt by giving a ride to the sen-" he stopped, then tried again, "census place, but that ended here... All because I lost my cool at the sight of a impure.. For which I am sorry." @Sorana
  10. "In a indirect way." Mutig replied, looking over his bowl at Jügen. "We've never met, but his met my former friend, who probably told him about me, as she told me about him." He stopped drinking, a look of disappointment on his face. "I'd like to apologize for the outburst earlier. It's just that me and impures have a distinct history, one have me the injured leg. I had to travel all the way here to fully recover." He looked down, "I am terrible at this debt theme, as I have only made things worse for you." @Sorana
  11. The maid brought out a large bowl, making Mutig even happier. She set it down and Mutig began to inhale it. The maid whispered into Amara's ear, " I am not sure if having a drunk bear, particularly one of his size. " @Sorana
  12. Lol, I think we've gone with too many bears. Also, I am kinda surprised how all the animal related characters are either bear, wolf, or wolf hybrid. Anyone else notice? No worries, it's a root based drink with healthy dose of honey, just enough to get a bear thirsty for more.
  13. "If your referring to drinking it for me, I'm good. " Then he had an idea. He fitted his jaws over the top of the mug, stood on his hind legs and, with one swift motion, threw his head back and having the mugs contents fall into his mouth. This resulted with most of the drink splashing out and into his fury neck. His eyes widened "SHE NEVER MENTIONED IT HAS HONEY!" he looked around searching for a maid. Seeing one, he bellowed "another! With a bigger rim!" The maid looked from Mutig to Amara, as if looking for for confirmation of what she had heard. @Sorana
  14. Mutig sat quietly, munching on the food he got, eyeing the tall mug a maid had set next to him. She said it was a root based drink, so maybe it won't be so bad. He began listening to the music, the conversations, and began pondering how to drink from his mug.
  15. Mutig sat down, still keeping his eyes on the wolf/ man. He looked at the newest person, and spotted his well worn robes. Mutig felt an inner flame kindle but he strangled it out. not now, not here. "If I recall," he announced , acting as if nothing happened, "someone mentioned a tavern, I may not be able to enter, but who's to say I can't drink?" He looked after the guard's. if anything, I sure got them running around twice in one day, hope they don't blame Amara for this. He glanced at her realizing how quiet she had been. @Sorana @Steel Inquisitive @Vargo Seldon @Invocation @ZincAboutIt
  16. Mutig froze. Tiana... He looked closely at Jügen, studying his face. "She mentioned you.. She told me you where like a guardian yourself, though we couldn't meet." He backed away now, quite and thoughtful, he still remembered her death, as if it was yesterday. @Steel Inquisitive
  17. Mutig glanced down at Jügen, puzzled and annoyed by his boldness. He heard something further up the and squinting as best he could be saw the glint of armored men filling the streets now. Mutig didn't need to see to tell they had tar arrows, and where about to light not only him, but probably everyone else there. He went past Jügen and snacked both the wolf and bear, against everything his soul told him. "I should have beaten you hard for waking me last night!" He bellowed, making sure the guard's heard. Then leaned over and muttered in both animal's ears. "We'll deal with this when there aren't civilians and flaming arrows, for now, play along." @everyone
  18. Mutig glanced at the newest person, not turning from Algorath. "I would kill you here right now, impure, if it didn't waste my time." He said the word impure with hate, his injured leg itched, as he remembered how he got it. Then he looked around, noticing the crowd's clearing back, forming a ring around them. "Your kind are the creatures that lack the right for life!" Mutig roared, "your kind kill without a second thought!" @Sorana @Steel Inquisitive, @Vargo Seldon @invocation.
  19. Mutig turned, seeing the new comer and immediately stepped between Jügen and Amara and the new creature. He let loose a deep growl, making it clear this new comer was close enough. "So your what I smelled!" He snarled, preparing for a fight, "you where the thing I sensed last night! " @Sorana @Steel Inquisitive @Vargo Seldon.
  20. Mutig stiffened, stopping in the road. fire on the homes, fields lighting the night sky with red tongues of flame, screams of the ones he'd failed. He shook his head, acting as if to get a scratch. "I am now." He said, then pushed on. @Sorana @Steel Inquisitive
  21. "It's no weakness." Mutig responded, "it gift, you get to live and go where you wish. Me? I am stuck out in the elements, usually under a tree or a cave." He thought for a moment. not bad for a try, a good analogy. he continued walking, half debating if it would be worth giving a roar to clear the streets for awhile. @Sorana. @Steel Inquisitive
  22. Mutig continued forward, annoyed at how he had thought a ride would work. But they ride horses and have no problem, why would it change on a bear? He began his deep growl again, making the crowed step out of his path. @Sorana @Steel Inquisitive
  23. Mutig rumbled in what sounded like a chuckle. "Me sorry," he said at last, " I trail blaze, you follow? "
  24. Mutig stood up again, and walked towards the mainstream of people again. He began making a deep, warning growl at those ahead of him, causing them to split to the sides, avoiding the "angry" bear.
