  1. The door opens easily enough. From the doorway, you see an open doorway to your left. The body of an orc, his arm outstretched toward the door you have just come from, lies slumped near the middle of this room. A lone spear, Its shaft broken, lays in one of the corners.
  2. Took the words right out of my mouth. Nothing ever really "stops" being a theory in science.
  3. That's usually a way to fix it. So long as your memory_limit multiplied by the Maxclients doesn't exceed the memory capacity of your server, that shouldn't cause issues. Also, if we still saw it after you jacked up the memory limit, it would mean there's a memory leak somwhere. If not, then it's likely the overall size of the datasets the site uses was increased by something you did.
  4. On this page right here (as a preliminary guess, I'd say remove any changes you made to php.ini Same (on chrome, same values and everything as joe). Also got this error when trying to quote joe here. You may want to check your .htaccess files to make sure they aren't overriding a global memory limit somewhere. Edit: different on a refresh, though -- <br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 14px; background-color: rgb(2, 3, 36); ">Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 351850864 bytes) in Unknown on line 0
  5. if you're using word 2007 and up (which defaults to docx) you should be able to save .doc files as well. Go to office button > save as (actually click save as, not use the menu it spreads open) > in the window that pops up, at the bottom there's a field "Save as type" Change that to "word 97-2003 (.doc)" and then save it wherever
  6. Certain files types are restricted in IPB from being uploaded (don't know if this is controllable or not) for security purposes. The easiest solution would be to probably get like dropbox or something, and throw it in there (it would be a folder on your computer) and then you can right click it and pick "Copy public link" and you would have a link you can post.
  7. MediaWiki: Performance Tuning Also, it should be noted that, as stated on that page, if you don't have your caching set up, retrieval of pages can use a large amount of CPU, because it will rebuild the page each time instead of using a cached version. What that means is that each time a page is requested, it will have to reevaluate the page, and all of its tags, and present it in its final form to the user, where as with caching it just rebuilds them on occasion. Note: I dont know much about wiki software, so take that for what you will.

  9. Looks like someone finally jumped over to the smartphone side of things, eh? (it's also basically a scaled back version of what I bought, the one X)
  10. (slightly NSFW because of language)
  11. Just received my new phone from my two year upgrade. It's the HTC EVO 4G LTE.

  13. I just unlocked the "Adventurer" badge on @foursquare for checking in to ten different places! http://t.co/V7tRwNI4

  14. Yeah, if you want to embed a video, you need to trim out all but the "v=(various Random stuff here)" after "watch?", because the "v=" is always the unique key to the video. I assume this is because the embed feature is searching for the common variable within the URL in a specific location, rather than just finding it anywhere in the URL (they could just look for either "watch?v=" or "&v=" and solve this issue) edit: Like this - [ media]http ://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQ5672hmNO0[ /media] (added a space before each [ and after http so that it would show up as text) will look like: Also: i dont know if it works in embedding, but you can link to a particular time. Just add "#t=00m00s" to the URL
  15. This is the greatest thing that has EVER graced the internet.....
  16. Is this going to be based on the musical or just another rehash of the story? I'm at work right now and can't watch the video. It would be neat if they made the musical into a movie (which I don't think has happened yet) but if it's just another rehash/remake of the story in movie form, then i wouldn't be terribly excited. I really do like Les Mis the musical. Also: I don't know if i can see Hugh Jackman as Valjean....Though i could probably live with Hathaway Edit: home now. Yup, it's the musical. I'll probably see it.
  17. Turjan hands over the idol. Looking at it, as best you can tell, it appears to be a relatively generic idol of no particular importance. It doesn't seem to be modeled after any major deity that comes to mind, and is likely just some local flavor to some relatively unknown (to the civilized world) Troglodyte god. At best, you figure that it could be worth a few coppers to the right person, if nothing.
  18. sorry for taking so long to get around to posting, guys. The past couple of weeks have been really busy for me, had a family emergency,. That said, I should be good for posting once again. After searching for a bit, you turn up necklace of freshwater shells on a leather thong and 2 GP. After searching the southern wall, Turjan returns to the party holding a small idol that appears to be a cross between a toad and a lizard, as well as 5 SP. "I'm not entirely sure what this is, but it appears to be some sort of ceremonial idol i think. I've never really seen it before, but I don't think it's worth anything, really. Figured I'd bring it to everyone's attention, though. Not a whole lot of value in here it seems."
  19. Android essentially is java, from the ground up Personally, i dont mind it, it's built on some pretty good principles, but it does seem a bit...bloated at times.
  20. try updating it?
  21. Turjan shrugs and says, "Worst case scenario is that I'll need a bath, i suppose." And with that, he begins searching the southern wall. (anyone else planning on searching for anything or anywhere in particular?)
