  1. Just a note, I only just realized in the "Player list" doc, it also lists known roles. One of those roles is called the Multi-Boxer. This is the role of Sapphire Elephant. Now that we have this minimal information, I am hesitant to believe that the player with that role is inherently village, as both the Anon account and that player's regular account are in the game. I am going to vote on Aranduensis for now for saying that Sapphire is inherently village. Aranduensis
  2. Hmm, I suspect someone then has a role to manipulate Anon accounts... My first thought would be that this person would be Sapphire, however, this seems too obvious as Sapphire was the only player starting in an Anon account, and could make them a target.
  3. Iff you look closely, it looks like a variation of l33t speak. Lol. Do you need a reason beyond that? : P You can PM other AN accounts?!?!? ... Hahahahahaha (Technically my title is a reference to a conversation I had with the coach of my robotics team, where he referred to my teammates as sheep, and me as the chief sheep herder (A couple days ago we had a similar conversation but this time he said cats), but this works. )
  4. As much as I historically like sharing this type of info publically, I disagree with your logic. The elims wont necisarily know what effect their action had. All they know is it benefited them. The problem is, as we dont know most of the roles/abilities in this game, any positive thing that happens for them could just as likely be a villager taking a well-intentioned action. Basically, the elims will only have a minor amount of additional info in this area.
  5. Hey Maill, this looks like a cool ruleset! One question, if a Rioter uses their ability, but a Smoker also used theirs, if the Smoker was the person with the most votes, would they still die? In other words, does smoking prevent lynch immunity when rioted, or only immunity to the extra rioted lynch?
  6. Wow, this game sounds amazing! Like other games at this time of year, i will be unable to roleplay and stuff, but I would love to sign up. So... the "village" are the bad guys right? Lol. It sounds like each cycle lasts a week long total? Is that correct, or is time in this figurative? (Meaning that "1 week" is 48 hours and "1 weekend" is 24 hours)
  7. If I remember correctly, he was saved by some pretty suspicious vote manipulation. 2 riots and 1 soothe I think. As no one came forward about the manipulation, I think it was figured it was caused by the elims.
  8. Ouch... My current suspicions were Devotary, Snipexe, Drought, and Steel in that Order. I was so convinced Itiah was village as Roadwalker seemed to try to inadvertently lynch him... I suppose that was truly inadvertent? Lol. Well, even if the number of elims was a bit many, I think the elims won already anyway. The elims played very well, and while Dev, Maill and I got a bit suspicious of some of them, we would have needed to lynch all of them in a row, and Devotary was my highest suspicion... So I likely would have turned on her first and doomed the village anyway. Perhaps if there were only three we would have had a chance during this day turn, especially as Devotary was targeted with the kill, but even then I am quite unsure. I apologize for my inactivity over these past crucial days... I was in the middle of my robotics event... However on the upside, my team did win the event. : ) (Our first ever competition win). If any of you are interested (especially the people with FIRST experience,) this is my team's result page: https://www.thebluealliance.com/team/3574 I am at work right now, but will read through the elim and spec doc later today/tomorrow. I typically say something again after reading those. : ) And Thank you to Kidpen, for running a fun game with new mechanics. I think they were a bit confusing to figure out how to use effectively at first, but if this game was run again, I know I could do a much better job at it. : )
  9. I am so sorry. I normally have low activity on weekends, but this weekend is my competition, so I will be gone the entire time. Afterwards I will have school to catch up on... Then I will be back in full. (I expected me to die before my first competition... Apparently this was not the case.) Ark edit: I had Iron, Tin, Copper, Bronze, and Zinc. However I was chromiumed...
  10. Ok, as the village has generally agreed that Bendalloy is a hindrance to the village, it would seem Drought is in fact an elim. As Maill started the lynch when drought was under most peoples radar, he is probably village. Devotary did put the lynch out of reach of singe/double vote manipulation, and we can see there was none. This could either mean that the elims didnt have enough vote manip to save drought, did but were inactive, or didnt have any vote manip. If the elims have vote manipulation this cycle, Devotary is probably village as they could have saved drought by lynching Snipexe, and it wouldnt have looked very suspicious, as snipexe is suspicious. If the elims didnt have vote manip, Devotary could be either as the elims would know that they cant save drought, so they may as well lynch him. What is weird, is no one seemed to really defend Drought... Devotary was the only one to address the lynch, but it was saying she would be looking closer at drought. It did have a tone of that there wasnt enough evidence to convict him yet... but I wouldnt necessarily disagree either so... that doesnt really help.
  11. Just so you and everyone else knows, I am talking a lot, but very little of my time is actually being spent on this game. So everything I say as analysis or my opinions should be taken with an extreme amount of salt... I would by no means say I have been being helpful.
  12. I was just about to write a similar post, however with the opposite outcome. (Also, I think Maill Still has his vote on Drought) Steel, Why do you trust Maill? Also, why do you trust me? So far I have somehow been lucky enough to escape every lynch, but being able to not get lynched is not a trait I would peg as a village one. I must admit, a paranoid theory has me nervous Steel is an elim… Though I am not going to vote based on that theory as of right now. Looking back at this post by Devotary: I can't think of how this post would help the elims at all. It is some analysis that if someone was an elim, would lead to target another elim, but if a villager, means nothing. This sort of analysis I feel would do nothing for an elim, and would do plenty for a villager. Because of that, I am also leaning a bit more village on Devotary right now. @Snipexe, we haven't heard from you this cycle. @Droughtbringer, I don't know... While I find you suspicious, I know I need to redo my player analysis... And by redo, I mean do real player analysis instead of circumstantial stuff like I tend to do... However, As I feel I should actually cast a vote, It has to be placed on you for the moment. I personally felt that the discussion of whether or not Steel is a neutral ended when Steel responded to it. I find it a bit strange that 15 hours later you bring the discussion back up. I will likely be back on several hours from now, and hopefully I will be able to look at some players a little more closely. For now, DroughtBringer
  13. Ouch. You couldn't have said that in a slightly more diplomatic way? If we want to discuss the neutral role, it is possible there is one, but there has been more issues (as far as I know) with people getting too many medallions in their PMs, not the other way around. Because of this, I would think that a neutral would be creating medallions, which seems to not only be a little OP this game, but also is the opposite of what Roadwalker said. So either Roadwalker was trying to mislead us about the neutral, or was lying about the neutral existing. Either way, we cant trust him. Anyway, if they knew who the neutral was, they should have been pushing harder for a Steel lynch... and they obviously havent pushing for it at all this game... All that being said, I am fairly confident it was a fabrication meant to confuse us. The thing about Ark is meant as an IKYK. And while I would like to hear Ark respond to it, I tend to ignore IKYKs of dead people...
  14. Haha I just realized, gold only counts the medallions currently in the game. Therefore, he wouldnt have seen 6 Alluminum, as CadCom had died with one. I really need a chart to do analysis this game lol. Because of this, my analysis above is likely mostly pointless...
  15. Ok... the fact you mention this I find strange for an elim to do... I think I would likely be the easiest mislynch right now, and therefore would not expect an elim this early in the cycle defend me and remove their vote, likely before giving people a chance to bandwagon... Anyway, why are you more suspicious of Drought than Devotary? My suspicions are Maill(though though a bit less now), then Devotary close behind, then Snipexe due to possibly Rioting (though I havent looked to see how that conclusion was created), then Drought. So Drought is at the bottom of mine...
  16. Well, I am not done with my homework... But I am bored, so here is something I noticed: Well, first I should mention whoever currently had @Gold we need you to do a gold claim as we cant trust Roadwalker's. (You should do that this night turn) Onto Roadwalker's gold scan, no one seemed to follow through with this, but he said that there are only 5 alluminum when we have 6 claimants (Ark, Xino, Elandera, CadCom, FatherTiemo, and Steeldancer). Out of those people, CadCom and Elandera are confirmed village. I would be curious as to why he would stress that we have only 5 Alluminum. My thought is he might have wanted us to target those that claimed Alluminum (either with the lynch, or our time analysising.) This would imply that the rest of the people there are village as the elims wouldnt direct the village to kill a group they are in. The remaining players are Mailliw, Drought, Itiah, Fura, Devotary, Snipexe. It would be strange to me if the elims distributed 5 medallions, but didnt include any of their members in the group... but as they did this with multiple medallions, perhaps they did try this... there does seem to be 6 bendalloy... unfortunately as Elandera made her chart on who claimed what based on colors, I am really struggling to interpret who claimed what. I may end up rereading C1-2 to gain this info, but I suspect at least 1 bendalloy would have gone to an elim C1. While I havent found Maill suspicious, I did find Eturnum suspicious (sorry Maill), especially after rereading Elandera's analysis. This plus because they overlap with not claiming Aluminum C1, and claiming Bendalloy C1, I am currently planning on putting my vote on Maill (I am going to reread Maill's posts before actually casting the vote though just to see if there is something there to turn me a certain direction... but I doubt it as everything has been pretty NAI from him) Just looked at Elanderas post before Roadwalkers gold scan, and she and Itiah are talking about how they both had Zinc on a turn when there was a double riot. With Roadwalker claiming only 2 Zinc, that should have in theory turned Elandera and Itiah towards each other as (if true) it would be clear to each of them that the other was an elim. With Elandera flipping village and Roadwalker flipping elim, I am inclined to think that Itiah is also village due to this. So my list of suspicions is narrowed down to 4 people: Eturnum/Maill, Devotary, Drought, Snipexe. (And I admit I as well fall into this category. I just am not suspicious of myself for some reason...)
  17. Ok, well I had 1 Cadmium, 2 Iron, an Electrum, and 1 Pewter medallion the last cycle... so that is where a lot of the medallions people are wondering went. Oh, ok. Roadwalker was an elim. I still am concerned about Ark... but I dont exactly know what to think at the moment. I have a lot of homework to do, and i have been offline for the past 24-48 hours... once i finish my homework, i will try to get back on to look back on Roadwalkers posts now we know he was an elim.
  18. So @Steeldancer, let me get this straight, you dont think Roadwalker is an elim, but you want him dead so the elims dont have the oportunity to lynch a villager? That is counter intuitive. If you think Roadwalker is more likely a villager, you should vote on someone else. I am more suspicious of Ark than Roadwalker, so I am voting on him. If someone else was to vote on Ark as well, the vote would be tied 2-2. If there was vote manip involved in a lynch like this, that would give the village a lot of information. I also feel like you are setting yourself up with that post to lynch Roadwalker, but at the same time seem like you didnt mean to kill a villager. I also want to remind people, there isnt a discrepancy in Roadwalkers gold claim. I dont have Brass, and as far as I know, me claiming Brass was the only problem with it. Why Devs vote was soothed could have even been that Shane misread who Dev was voting for... idk. I just cant imagine an elim lying about something so obviously incorrect. So either they are a villager telling the truth, a villager lying (idk why), or an elim telling the truth. But if the last one is the case, we have no reason to suspect the are an elim, as the entire case against them is about this gold scan. I am still suspicious of Ark... but idk... Ark Steeldancer
  19. Well, as I live in western WA, the city wasn't prepared for the week of 10-20" of snow... So we lost a week of practice, and parts were delayed by another 3-8 days... so we are really far behind... And this was looking to be our best season so far. : ( Oh well. We have our robot built, wired, and working... Except for the part that actually interacts with the game pieces. We should be cutting those out tomorrow... And hopefully will have those working before our competition next weekend (march 8-10th). Our drive team will have no practice... And we are a 10 person team (which for those that don't know, 40 students tends to be the average amount). This first competition will be a struggle, but we have a really good robot design (and would have had a really good robot if not for the snow), so hopefully our second competition will go better than I expect for the first one. Sorry, started to rant a bit. This is a pretty stressful and frustrating season. : /
  20. Phew, weekend over! just got home from robotics. Wait, what? My analysis wasn't about Xino... It was about Ark... *Reread's my post* Yeah, I didn't even use Xino's name once. Are you referring to someone else's analysis?
