  1. Sorry for double posting N1: Lum -> Elandera N2: Lum, Elandera -> Rath, ?? N3: Lum, Elandera, Rath -> CadCom, Fura. So currently, the list is Lum, Elandera, CadCom, Fura, and possibly one other. (Though I suspect it is just us 4) It has been a quiet couple days (And by quiet, I mean SE average, but quiet for this game). However, I am back! (For 2-3 days, then I am gone again) So I will try to do what I can! Xino - I can confirm that Xino did swap Drought and Itiah last night, and indirectly roleblocked me by doing so. : / I general think that Xino is unlikely to be the convert target, so I am placing Xino as a strong village read Lumgol - Her role of "JOE" has basically been confirmed, I think she would have make an excellent convert the first couple cycles. The thing is, she abstained from the vote with Alv. At that time, the spammers had already lost 3 of their number. They wouldn't willingly give up a 4th. It would have been pretty simple for Lum to break the tie in favor of CadCom like she was originally planning, under the guise of trying to make him win. If the convert comes before the lynch, it is possible Alv may have converted Lum the same day, however at that point, I think there would be other people more suited to the convert. Lum's willingness to bandwagon and change votes repeatedly, while often a sign of a spammer, seems reminiscent of last game where she was village. Ada - By far the most cleared eliminator this game. While I can't recall them ever roleclaiming, they have had a strong hand in getting each of the four spammers killed this game. Makes them a prime suspect for a conversion, though that is highly IKYK. If they were converted, I suspect it would have been C2. The play Alv made looks like an all in play, and has been called one by a few people. However, the spammers would know that he only had a 25% chance of making it through unscathed. In a 4 way tie, they absolutely could have saved him. This makes me think they must have had a backup plan. Either the other spammers were/are inactive, and therefore unable to save Alv, or they were Okay with the 75% chance of him getting caught. If they were Ok with him getting caught, I am sure at least one spammer was voting on him. I have Ada as a slight village as I think this is too obvious pick a convert, and my suspicions for him are in many cases the same I have for Elandera. However I recognize that this is all very IKYK. Elandera - I am not going to get into the Fifth/Elandera argument right now as I haven't read through it thoroughly enough yet. However, Elandera's claimed role is, I believe "Disciple of Herowannabe". An easy claim to make as IIRC Jondesu had already died at that point. She claimed that as Mailliw got another Disciple of Herowannabe claim, the third must be lying. As neither Mailliw nor Elandera seemingly followed up on this, it does look a bit strange. However, Maill didn't speak up against Elandera either. Elandera has been very active in lynch discussions. Elandera's vote on Alv is, in my opinion, just as suspicious as Ada's. If the spammers are in fact active, they must have planned on gaining something from Alv's death. Elandera being further cleared would do that. I was planning on going into more detail on Elandera, then doing Fifth, but I ran out of time. I will try to expand a bit more tonight.
  2. Traveling from comp. My action failed because it was redirected, not because of any abilities of drought. Drought may have abilities to fail my action, or someone may have done something, but from what I gather, my actions come rather late in the turn order, so I think it failed because I was redirected, not because i was prevented. I dont know what to talk about. Some people have been mentioning Bard, and he is on my list of people to keep an eye on... so I will poke bard for now. I will be on before rollover, though it could be anytime from 5pm-11:59pm... Xino Metabardnition
  3. *Sigh* Well, as Rath died, I suppose I don't need to confirm the existence of the "JOE" role... As I was converted last night. For the others with the JOE role, I don't intend to do any converting... *Bigger sigh* Also, I was redirected last night. I would really like to know why. I was very limited in what I would be able to do last night as no one voted on me , so the redirect caused my action to fail. I was redirected to Drought. AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH - *Me, yelling in frustration* EDIT: As the only player who has claimed a redirect role: Xino
  4. Ok, heading home from setup at the competition. Am going to bed once I get home, and am a bit rushed/tired while saying this, so please excuse my forwardness. Why are we still talking about the trolls-that-arent-trolls? Nothing anything they have said has rung any alarm bells in my head. I could see Elandera getting converted by the spammers as she would be a good person that is fairly trusted, yet under the radar, but so are some others... That being said, I dont see any reason not to trust her right now. This conversation about the trolls-that-arent-trolls is getting us nowhere. It is giving us no more info as to them and their abilities, and no info as to possible spammers. I am growing increasingly apprehensive of Drought. Crusader if you are out there...
  5. I dont disagree with this, however, they have 3 people claiming to be converted. They are also communicating who they intend to convert... therefore, an elim who is not converted couldn't claim without being caught in the lie. Assuming 2 spammers, 3 people claiming to be converted should imply that the role does in fact exist. If there are 3 spammers (which I dont think there will be more than), we should be able to test that next turn as there should be two converts.
  6. Wow, I am honored by your nomination. I think if Fifth, Elandera, or Devotary (All already tagged) are able to do this, they would be my picks as well. Out of curiosity, how many hours did you have to put into this a day?
  7. As for people, someone scanning Ada would be useful. Itiah and CadCom are also good convert targets. As to who the (Possibly last) starting elim is, I would start by looking closer at Bard and Araris. My view on Bard's playstyle is a little skewed, as the last time either of us were evil, we were together. I will be pretty much gone over the next 48-72 hours due to another robotics competition. After that, PNW Championships is April 3rd-6th, so I will likely be minimally active during that time as well. Normally I would stay up until 1-2am to have time for this, however as I have been picked as my team's driver, I really do need to get sleep. : / Ninja'd Ha! Here I was, trying to compose a complicated post trying to convince a convert of Maill to say if they were trolls, and now I get the pleasure of scrapping the post. This is quite interesting... The Trolls seem to have been given a lot of power to start the game. So every convert of Maill has the convert ability... Well Elandera had to be the first convert, as she spoke up for Maill last week if I remember correctly... That still leaves some interesting cases to happen N2 due to having 2 converts, however as I got the claim D1, that still doesn't work. Obviously they weren't converted. I think they claimed in-thread, but I don't have time to double check, so I am not saying their name just in case. @Adavantos do you have any more info on this than I do? Edit: Due to being claimed to D1, either they were trying to find each other, or they don't have a wincon counter to the village... However, I don't believe the claim that it doesn't end the game at this moment.
  8. Wait, what? I really didn't expect that... I 100% believed Alv's role-claim. I was considering voting on him to interact with him, however I didn't want to vote on someone and have them die... This... wow... I am speechless... Edit: Ninjad I disagree, they could have converted anytime before now... I think there is still a convert out there.
  9. Fifth, as I believe Alv is significantly in the lead, that isnt too dangerous for you... however I laud the effort. ____________________________________________ Furamirionind, or at least that is what they were called, glanced around the forum they had grown to love. Fura had noticed a dramatic increase of spam accounts ever since Seonid left the forum. However, when those accounts started joining SE games, Fura knew something had to be done. It was time to read! Fura pulled the book, "Memoirs of an Ordinary Person" of their shelf. Drastic times called for drastic measures, and this book was that. While having only read to article 6 so far, skipping to article 74 was the answer. ____________________________________________ Memoirs of an Ordinary Person: Article LXXIV How to catch Spammers: If you are reading this, you obviously didnt read the previous article where I told you to skip this one. Go back to article 1 and start the book over. ____________________________________________ well then... I really want to catch those spammers, so I guess I need to start over... ____________________________________________ Memoirs of an Ordinary Person: Article I We must begin by asking a very straightforward question. What is the purpose of life? This is quite a simple question to answer. The purpose of life, is naturally, to live. That being said, while that does answer the question, to truly understand the answer, we must create a definition of life... ____________________________________________ This was going to be a long read...
  10. Hmm, I felt like Lums comment was stranger, however I suppose CadComs is very much as well. @Cadmium Compounder @Mailliw772 did the two of you have a PM? Another thought, did anyone share the role of "Roleplayer" with Fifth before PMs went down? This is just speculation, but it would be funny if Fifth, pretending to be a roleplayer, tried to get himself lynched when he didnt have a role that protected him. CadCom, an actual roleplayer, then gets a role trying to get himself lynched due to Fifth pretending something similar. This could also work the other way around, with Fifth being the roleplayer, and CadCom roleplaying a roleplayer... it would be very funny. As a response to my absurd analysis, I am considering switching my vote, yet again, to one of these two... however I would not reccomend others doing so unless there is more info to support this. Because I for the most part trust you and Itiah. Also because I am disappointed I did a bit too good of a job clearing myself earlier in the game. My role benifits me when people vote on me... this sounds kind of like something a spammer would say right? Maybe I can convince some people to try and lynch me? : )
  11. Umm, there is a watchman that dies in the write up. I think the intent was that we were carrying the watchman but... The body the three of them were carrying coughed. Loren jumped in shock, barely catching himself before he threw the others off balance and caused the body to fall again. "Who are you?" Loren demanded, "and what did you do to the dead watchman?!"
  12. I'm not happy with my vote: I feel I havent heard much from Bard lately. @Metabardnition Araris Metabardnition Edit: okay, reskimmed the thread and am still unhappy with my vote... I am conflicted about poking Elandera or Itiah... however, Itiah has been posting a lot less ever since they were cleared, so I think I will poke them. @I think I am here. Metabardnition Itiah
  13. @Adavantos @NotASteelClone is it possible CadCom isnt an eliminator or spammer? That's what it sounds like to me... I have a ton of stuff to do today for school, so idk how much analysis or stuff I will be able to post.
  14. Here is a thought, we could cast no votes at all today for a... 18? way tie? then Alv could choose to kill any of us... : ) EDIT: I am not so sure I like it, but the thread has been quieter than normal this game, so thought I would say something. : )
  15. @Cadmium Compounder, same code as with Steeldancer. First number is paragraph, second number is number of characters in. 4-4 6-2 5-4 2-2: 2-5 7-6 2-55-4 3-4 6-1 4-1 ---- 6-1 2-2 4-3, 7-5 5-4 5-4 1-1 1-5 7-6 3-2 2-2 7-6 1-2, 1-6 1-51, 1-6 7-6 2-2, 2-1 5-4 2-5 1-15 2-2 2-3, 1-1, 6-68 1-6 4-1 2-2, 1-6 7-6, 1-6 2-3, 5-1 3-1 1-6, 6-68 1-6 1-2 2-2 1-4, 6-2 7-6, 3-2 2-2. I really need to stop sending PMs with 7 paragraphs... Well, at least it gives me more letters/data to make codes with Lol.
  16. I wasn't even close to figuring you out. : ) @NotASteelClone, this is relative to the first PM I sent you. First number is the paragraph, second number is how many letters into the paragraph the intended letter is: 6-21 5-2 6-4 1-2 3-2 2-3 2-8 1-6: 2-3 3-2 2-3 4-4 2-5 4-1 4-2. 1-4 1-2 1-6, 2-22 4-4 2-3 1-3 1-2 7-17, 2-1, 3-44 3-1 1-5 1-2, 3-1 3-2, 3-1 7-17, 2-4 1-1 3-1, 3-44 3-1 1-5 1-2 4-1, 3-1 3-2 2-8 1-2. 3-1 3-2 3-3, 2-22 4-4 2-3 1-3 1-2 7-17/cycle. Hopefully that makes sense, assuming you care to decode it... I made it probably a bit more difficult than I had to... =) Edit: Hopefully no one asks why I sent a PM with 7 paragraphs... : )
