    This is pure spekulation: Maybe the feeling of passion is like an indicator how far the personality of the vessel was changed by the shard. The more they get changed the more they feel passionate about the shard's intent. Especially if the shard's intent goes against their original personality (eg ruin - Ati) then the passion could be an instrument, or an argument why they are action like they do. Passion is a really powerful feeling and it usually comes hand in hand with some kind of loosing control and dominats other feelings.

    Syen straightened herself and shook her head few times. Jumping around was... odd. "It's alright. I think we all have our issues." Looking from Elefthera to Soul she added: "A name is a powerful thing. A lot of your identity and how you see yourself is connected to the name. If you want to be called Soul then it's solely your decision." After a short break she put her backpack down, taking out her canteen. "I don't need a surge to care for wounds. I have some basic medical training. It's only an offer and something I thought you should know before something goes wrong. If you can take care of that yourself that's fine, saves me work and supplies." She smiled again, hoping that they would see her offer as that what it was. An offer, no trap, no second thoughts. And hopefully she hadn't offended them by indicating they couldn't look after themselves. Shards people were so complicated. Walking a few steps she refilled her canteen and stored it again afterwards.

    Syen jumped shocked backwards. Then she collected herself, carefully stepping closer. "Did you hurt yourself when you fell? Can I help you? Should I take a look?"

    I think it depends on what you want to do and in what situation you are in. This changes what power is the "best". For example if you want to make your daily life easier, or then Awakening is great (See the Generator example above @recneps). But if you are a soldier standing in the first row of a battle, then using the metallic art or different surges would be more helpfull for your survival. What I want to say is, that the metallic arts seem to be more versatile or useful than Awakening but in the end each System is really strong when used for cases it is specialized in. So imo I feel like they are balanced (not completely but balanced) each in their own world with It's own opportunities and dangers.

    Syen shot him a quick glance. "All right. I'm ready to go." She looked over to Soul and Kilo. "You offered to help me out of the chasms. Could you take me with you? Otherwise I'd have to walk. And it seems I'm zur only one unable to cover a great distance in a short time." Sure then turned her attention back to Tena.

    Sure! When we started, there was nothing but the idea that the Packaging market could be interessting. At the beginning we were a team of three with the fokus on Business Developpment/ Webshop/ Project Management, Production/ Project Management and Suppliers/ Products. We developped some concepts and how to enter the market in the best possible way. In the end we decided that a seperate shop for Packagings including an 3D online designer would be best. We then launched a One Pager first, teasing the possibility of indivdual packagings to test if our idea would work. Then we started working on the shop, because we got a real good ressonance from our customers. In the end it now has an 3D online desiger, so you don't have to be a graphic expert to design a packaging, but it also offers the possibilty to upload your complete data (if you want to use a programm like Illustrator). We integrated the backend in our company, so that e.g. the accounting can still use their programms, and our software for the deliverys works and so on. To ensure all these different connections we had to implement different reports and APIs and of course design a lot of new processes throughout the company. It's not completely ready of course, now it is neccessary to include more products, optimize the user experience, analyse how our customers behave and of course add new features. At the moment I'm collecting all the ideas and prepare to give them of to the team (now consisting of six members) so that they can continue with the daily work and improvements.     Fot the last one and a half years I lead a project and today we finally finished it. The Website is live, the production works. I can't really believe that we reached this milestone and that it's over for me. Feels a bit unreal right now. Now I have to wrap everything up and in august the next project starts.

    Before I post my contribution I'd like to thank you @Ashspren for the organization and the time you took making this possible. I had a lot of fun writing these lines, so Thanks a lot! It's a bit a mixture between poetry and lyrics. I don't listen to rap but I looked up some texts as examples. I put it behind a Spoiler Tag because there are some slight spoilers for warbreaker, mbera1, SA.

    Syen was quiet for a few breaths, thinking about what he had told her. The war wasn't news, but what happend to the remaining Parshmen. She had heard stories of murders, but dismissed them as exceptions, hurriing back to the shattered plains. It was easier that way. The war, the everstorm - the events left her feeling helpless and so she simply continued with her life, shunning people, closing her eyes. "Thank you." she answered quietly. Not giving him an explanation how she had missed this. She would help Kilo and afterwards, maybe it was time to start listening to Essun. Arriving at the spot where Soul waited she stood still, a bit unsure what they planned to do next or what training involved for them. She had never really trained with stormlight. She did what she had to, learning it along the road.

    I think that could be possible. We know that the Dor sustains the body of the Elantrians, without it they deteriorate. So a young Elantrian maybe simply looks normal and an old one would age...

    That just sparked a question: If you really stored 100% elantrianness, will you look like a normal person while storing?

    Just started my day at work and checked the shard while waiting for my Coffee. Best way for the day to beginn!

    While waiting for Kilo to answer Syen continued walking over to Hellbent and Soul. Soul was easy to see, throwing knives at something behind some rocks and only a few meters away. She looked over the shattered planes, once again amazed by their strange beauty. For a moment she got the feeling of everything become more real and official and a glipse of some strange people grinning, then it vanished leaving her only with a real good feeling.

    Good question, I had to think a bit about it. I think I would like to have Jasnah as my Angel, because she is a scholar and could probably help me during work. And she would give the opportunity to learn about Roshar. For the devil I'd take Hrathen. I loved his strength and confidence. And I liked the way he was able to question what was in front of him.
