Mike hastened back into the hideout, clutching something wrapped in cloth in his hand. He hadn't really stolen it, but then he hadn't asked for approval either. Well, nobody had asked if he was allowed to take it. "Hey Sam. For your arm." He handed her a small golden medallion wrapped in cloth. "It should be full enough to more or less heal your arm. Maybe. I didn't dare to take a large and full one." @Steel Inquisitive Sitting down with his back against a wall he took out his notebook, rested it against his knees and started writing on a sheet of paper. He'd already written for a while, when Bella approached him. "Mike, I'm going to need your help. But first, I need to know. Am I doing the right thing?" Mike looked her, surprised by her words. I'm trying to earn some money, for," She repeated her earlier gesture, hoped he would understand. "Apart from that, nothing. Met some guys who might help me make some money, but apart from that - nothing world changing." "And you?"

"I see." Lena nodded and then looked at her hands, unsure what else to say. She couldn't really think of anything, he hated her - and rightly so. She was probably more a monster then his shade. Falling silent she stayed where she was unwilling to leave. Lita had more or less told her to go away and standing around on her own was stupid. Feeling a bit lost she stared at her nails and tried to think of something to talk about.

Lizanne flinched when the blade easily cut through the metal next to her. "Thank you." She smiled quickly at Lisa and the other girl, whose name she had somehow missed and then looked back to the man standing in front of her. If he had aimed for her head - she straightened her back and forced herself to meet his eyes. "Because I'm the only one of all of you who knows how an edible plant looks like. Or how to slaughter an animal." She told him calmly, her voice quavering only a bit. They both knew, that he could kill her easily, she had no weapon, nor did she knew how to fight. That's pretty cool! It is a "monster", or is there a chance to maybe breake a curse and free/ save the creature? It could be interesting to find out what binds it.

"Sure!" Shana smiled brightly and jumped to her feet. He wanted to train with her. Happily she grabbed her bag. "You should maybe change into some comfortable cloths. "I hope you are right." Althea continued to look at him. The thought that he ended somewhere else, that their eternities didn't align, choked her. She'd never been a religious person, afterlife was just something that existed or maybe not, and at the same time she'd always assumed that they would be there together, if there was a place to be. She filled their plates and then sat down, took her wine with her. "If it doesn't taste, just tell me. I can always soulcast something." @Nohadon @I think I am here.

"No thank you, Ben is already here. But I'd be open to spar afterwards, if you're still willing by then. Just tell me." She sighed and then forced herself to concentrate. The fun had to wait until afterwards. @NoiseSpren Shana listened, tried to understand what he explained. She wanted to grasp it, not only repeat what he did. It took her a while, but in the end she had a better feeling, at least for the next morning. "Thanks, Ben." She closed the book and sorted her bag for tomorrow's lessons. Lizanne shrugged. "Small? But right now we know almost nothing. Whatever we find up there is a piece as to who he is, what he plans. Every single bit can help us." Grimacing she looked up to the door, wondered what she had gotten herself into.

"I think that comparison fits us well." Lizanne leaned against the handrail, taking careful, shallow breaths. "Look at us." She made a sweeping gesture through the room. "We have the agressive one, a scary guy, a scholar, a cripple, a lady, another scholar and the two clowns over there. Who would logically hire a bunch like us for an expedition, into a ... whatever it was." She looked to Lisa, smiled apologetically. "That realm where the mind is?"

Shana wordlessly handed some cookies over. She might have to bake another batch soon. Then she looked back at her maths book and hoped, that Ben would really help her. Otherwise she was most likely doomed.

Thankfully Althea smiled at them both and set the pan down. Afterlife. She had wondered about what would happen afterwards, but his description made it more real, like something she maybe should have worried about. One day she would have to face it. Lizanne looked at him for a moment, moving slightly away from him. He scared her. But his words, they sparked something and she got back to her feet, groaning in pain. Althea nodded. "Should you ever need a place to stay, just drop by. No matter when. Our door is always open for you." She got up, walked to the oven and got the roasting pan out. "The lasagna is ready." She looked at it critically. Hopefully it tasted alright. "Max, could you get the plates, and maybe some glases, please?" @I think I am here.
