  1. "I can't read." Lizanne confessed. "I was too young when they caught me, and you don't teach that to a slave." She smiled at Lisa. "I'd love to have you teach me, what you ever you feel like. It would be great to learn something."

  3. "I'm not a master healer. I'm just a girl who learned her trade from her mither and catched the wrong man's eye." She looked at Jürgen. "I wouldn't mind going with them, as long as I can help someone and improve my skills I am content for now. What do you think? @Chasmfiend#1 @Steel Inquisitive @Vargo Seldon
  4. Lizanne nodded, tried to mask the fact, that she had no idea what gravity was. Still, the part about how everything worked made sense, so she smiled thankfully. That sounded a lot more interesting, than she had thought. "We could always look into an alley together?" She proposed. She'd heard the stories, but found them hard to believe. In her experience few things were more terrifying than humans. At least with a monster, she'd know it would be a monster. "I know some good places to beg. You usually end up with enough for a meal or two. We could start there." She told Lisa proudly. "But maybe that's not interesting for you, is it?" She added, suddenly ferling very, very stupid. "I'm sorry, I'm not smart or anything. I simply try to find a way to survive."
  5. Embarressed Lizanne stared at her hands. "I guess I did." She replied. "Sorry, I meant whatever you are. Physicist?"
  6. "Are you a real psychic or a fake one?" Lizanne asked curiously and then realized, that that probably sounded rude. "No offense, of course. I just never heard that word before."
  7. Lizanne looked at Lisa for a moment, the woman seemed safe. The first one of the lot. She might need to stick around her. "I know that feeling." A grin touched her face. "I'm a master when it comes to running away, or in my case hobbling." She made sure to keep her tone light. It had been a long time, she almost couldn't remember how it was to walk normally. There were days when her leg ached, when she barely could put some weight on it, but then there were better days as well and Lizanne had accepted her fate in that regard. "What is a psy... psychic?" She asked, hoping she'd remembered that word correctly.
  8. Kate nodded at him friendly and then waved him over. "What are your plans here? With the child and everything?"
  9. "Sure." Lena handed him a pancacke, carefully wrapped in some paper to keep it clean.
  10. Mike listened to the exchange, keeping quiet. Bella did everything toprotect the gang. She always did. It was Bella. Strong, beautiful Bella. Nothing would stop her. He continued to drink his beer, these were his friends. Mike pondered about it for a while and then he made a decision. Now he only needed to make sure, that they all would survive this. Walking over to the one who had talked with Bella he extended his hand. "Hey, I'm Mike. Will you be there when we attack?" @Nohadon
  11. "Do you want to take the Canton over again?" Althea asked, before adding minced meat to the onion and then putting the noodles on a plate. @Nohadon @I think I am here.
  12. Althea nodded thoughtfully and then took the onions and put them in the pan together with some oil to roast them. Melting some butter in another, smaller pot she added some milk and flour until she had a white coloured sauce. Carefully she added some spices and then pushed the pot back for later use. There wasn't really something useful for her to add to the conversation, so she kept quiet and gave them some time to catch up. As long as Max was happy, the evening could be counted as a success. She realized she'd started smiling again, and she kept it, slowly relaxing. As the water was hot she started cooking the noodle plates, not too long, just enough to soften them a bit. Remembering what she had forgotten she fetched some mozzarella out of the fringe and placed it on the table to be cut as well, then she silently observed Max and Devaan, while waiting for her noodles to be ready for use. She wasn't sure where it would end, which role Devaan intended to take in their lives, how much would change now that he was back.
  13. Althea heard Devaan rumage through her kitchen and hastily stepped back from Max. Her problems would have to wait. They had a guest and he was important. She smiled at Max, happy to be finally home, that he was here and then turned around to hurry to the kitchen. Devaan had found the onions and she handed him the tomatoes as well, hoping she wouldn't mess the cooking up. "Thank you." She said while placing a pot and a pan on their stove. Filling the pot with water she threw some salt in the water and started heating it. Afterwards she fetched a roasting dish (?) out of a cupboard and put it on the table Devaan was cutting on. "Rhazien married us." She told him and then added. "Solace is still there. A part of the bond. He has been quiet during the last year, but he's still there." Her knuckles turned white from gripping the dish, when she remembered and she took a deep steadying breath, pushing all of it aside. "Which weapon do you prefer to wield?" She asked to switch the topic and because she hoped that this was something he liked to talk about. She wanted him to feel welcome and comfortable. @Nohadon
  14. "I can't go back home." Amara set down pinnate and stretched her back. "I wish I could, but I can't." "It would be nice to rest for a few days." She smiled at him for a moment, brushed her hair out of her face. "Could I join you? Maybe travel a bit together afterwards? It would be nice to not be alone at least for a while." Mutig joined them and she looked at him for a moment and then laughed suddenly. "The three, or four it is now, of us. Just imagine what impression those around us have to have. We're like completely different colours all thrown in the same pot. And it's great!" More earnestly she added. "I like you. Both of you." @Steel Inquisitive @Chasmfiend#1
  15. Amara answered the questions quietly and then collected her money. It was a lot, but she was still a far way from her dream. But then you never knew and one day she would a possibility. Smiling she followed Jürgen outside. "What do you plan to do now?" She asked him while waiting for the others. @Steel Inquisitive @Chasmfiend#1 @Vargo Seldon
  16. Lizanne nodded. "Magic." She said softly. "Sometimes I envy those able to use it. I could defend myself better, stop those hunting me. But I can't so it's running away, until they can't find me anymore. Maybe the expedition will help with that as well."
  17. "I'm from a different world as well. But I fled, and now I'm stuck here. Well, it's better than before." She smiled hesitantly. "Maybe we can find a way for you to get home." She offered.
  18. I realized I forgot something. Lizanne can't read or write and maybe do some basic calculations. That just was part of her, because of her background, I forgot to put it in her charactersheet. I'm sorry. If it's important that she can do it, I can think of something. @Voidus
  19. Lizanne paused when the woman introduced herself a second time as well and then laughed. The situation was hillarious, frightening but hillarious. "Sorry, I wasn't sure, if you were here, when I adressed the room." She explained and then turned earnest. No need to lie when it came to her reasons. "Free food. Hopefully some money. It's hard to find a job around here, without any kind of education, and with a leg like mine." Looking at the food she chose something she didn't try yet and pocketed some. You never knew. "And you?"
  20. I have the slots, and I have her planned out, as she appeared since era 2, but I don't want to shove more work to our mods for a character, I don't plan to rp regularly. Alright, thanks. I guess I'll play it safe.
