  1. "What would happen if I did call them?" Lena stepped up next to him, looked at his face.
  2. Marianne smiled at the woman, it wasn't entirely honest, but then she was still nicer then Csilen. "Where do you live?" She asked with a short glance at Csilen. Hopefully he would understand, that she had a plan. @Nohadon
  3. "So I'll go back?" He asked hesitantly and then handed her the chocolate bar Freyja had given him. Chocolate always helped with anything.
  4. Mike hastily fetched her another beer and opened it. He made sure to not stare at a point on the floor, for she probably would be angry if he saw her like that. "Here you are." He carefully handed her the beer, unsure what to do next. This was Bella, not some random member. "Just take your time and sleep a bit?" He suggested and then wondered if that made her seem week. "It's quiet outside and we'll keep watch."
  5. John shrugged. "Water is expensive. But as you wish." He prepared the next drink wondering about his customers. The other one smashed his bottle ovet the head of old Jack and then walked out. As Jack seemed to be fine, or at least as fine as he usually was, he looked back to the one in front of him. "What brings you to town?" ================= "Hey." A dark voice from behind. Jim grabbed Hellbent's shoulder, just as he had left the bar. "That's my friend over there. Kate's against a fight in there, but that doesn't mean, I can't outside. You'd better say sorry."
  6. As I kind of started this discussion, I'm sorry. I didn't want it to end in a larger fundamental discussion. I like the idea with the two sides of magic. A lot actually. For me that's two sides of the same coin and I like something like that. Maybe we could also state, that the largest things need both of them. As it's a fantasy setting, you can always claim that everybody is equal, but I personally like it, when not everybody can do the same, when there are differences. It makes it more interesting and you need others to achieve the best possible result, which is really important for me in a rp. If I can do anything on my own, I can start a game on my computer. But I can see that it is a difficult topic, and maybe it would be wise to set it as a typical everybody is equal setting. Yes it's not really logical when it comes to brute strength, but if more people feel comfortable with it, then that would be the way to go, imo. Feel free to ignore this, I haven't been part of the worldbuilding team so far and I don't want to intrude. I simply felt a bit responsible for the whole topic.
  7. "Heard some stories and figured I could take a look." Lena shrugged. "No worries, I'll leave." But she stayed, waited for him to confirm that he wanted her gone. Because she'd really like to take a closer look at it.
  8. "She's awake. I heard something." "Let's talk about earth later. I'll check if she needs anything." He walked over to the room and looked at Bella. She seemed to be exhausted, but it was to be expected. She'd just saved them all. "Hey Bella." He said, unsure what to do. "Do you need something? A beer?" @Element of Chaos
  9. John looked up from the glass he was cleaning. Another customer. This was really getting busy. He filled a cup with beer and pushed it over to the stranger, as well with a small cup to be filled with water as payment. "A job?" He repeated mostly to say something, while he thought about it. "Some of the newer farmers might hire a guard. Or you try your luck on their farm, to help as planter. And there's the mine. They always need people. @Vargo Seldon
  10. Mike nodded and grabbed one. "It's silent again. I guess we'll hear it when she wakes up." He clinked his bottle against Maxwell's. "What is Earth like? Do you have investiture there?"
  11. Hmm alright. Without investiture it should work. Just don't abuse it, preferably have him fail more often than pull it off.
  12. I read it. But I'm not sure how to tie it together with the journeyman part?
  13. Erde is also the german word for earth. And we pronounce it like that: E (like the "e" end) rde (again like in end). You stress the first "e". "r" and "d" are like in "round". So if you really want to use germanic names as was proposed above, Erde would fit. And I'll gladly help with them... ======== Regarding my character. So to sum it up: yes there are crafts and journeymen, gender equlity maybe so I'll take a man, and innate magic only to see which plants could help?
  14. "Earth." Mike repeated. "Never been there." He hissed when Maxwell tied the end of the bandage and then paused. "Did you hear that? Do you think she's waking up?"
  15. I do actually. Jasmin, Rosa, Erika, Lilia, Viola, Alissa
  16. I could also make a list with some examples, if that could help people choose a name.
  17. Mike grimaced. It hurt, a lot. It took at lot to not start screaming, but he made sure he stayed silent. "Where are you from?" He asked the first thing that came to his mind, mostly to distract himself.
  18. "A bullet." Mike grimaced. "I killed the bastard though."
  19. Looks good! Have fun! One question regarding his ability with the staff and how this works together with his left arm. Do you have an explanation why he has a chance to intercept a bullet without full movement of his arm?
  20. Kate handed him the keys. "Upstairs, second room to the right. If you need anything else, just tell me." "And you should try to keep away from those living here longer. Especially if you plan to stay here. ============ "Close by, yes. But it's only a small one." John started cleaning some glasses. He took the money of his other guest and added. "Why do you ask? Most people come to see the green plants, the water."
  21. "Could you help me wrap my arm?" Mike asked Maxwell after Bella was settled.
  22. Mike nodded and helped, using his not injured arm. "There's a cot in the room over there."
  23. John poured two beers and placed them in front of the newly arrived guests. "That's a sip of water each." He placed a cup on the bar for them to pour it into and smaller one for measurement. @Dark1002 @Clyde Froggins =================== Kate accepted the bottle. "Deal." She replied. @I think I am here.
