  1. We ask. Shana usually does what I ask her. She even climbed a tree to fetch the eggshell for you. Mahad replied proudly. Look there, ducks! Let's search for some feathers. ================== "Don't worry, I'm fine. Only a bit tired." She paused, thought about her next words. "I bonded Mahad years ago. At first I didn't realize what it meant andI had no access to lightened spheres, so I simply had my own private friend." "Doc regularly pushes me to train, but the moment it isn't about sparring my motivation usually ends up running screaming out of the room." "But today, I, what I mean is, it's great to practice with you. And I really want to learn and spend some time with you?" She almost whispered the last words, looked down at her feet, before forcing herself to look into his eyes again, almost afraid of his reaction, of a no, of him pushing her away.
  2. Happily Mahad flew in the direction of the nearest lake. That way. A swan would be great! ==================== "Thank you!" Carefully she placed the flower on a small table nearby, took the time to collect herself. He thought she was pretty. And he'd blushed. That meant he liked her, did he? She took the orange flower out of his hand, her fingers lingering on his a bit too long. Should she compliment him? Did he expect it? "So, I'll start." Hastily she stepped back, looked at his flower. He'd given her a flower. Her heart skipped a beat when she looked at him again, and then concentrated on the flower. She would show him, this time it would work. Inhaling stormlight she mentally touched the petals and then cut them off. They turned into dust, instead of simply falling to the ground and she grimaced. Too much, again too much. She felt exhaustion tugging on the corners of her mind, but pushed it aside for now. He wanted to train with her, she wouldn't stop that now. Not after he'd given her a flower. Lifting her head from the flower she looked at him again, hoped that he wasn't disappointed at her slow progress.
  3. Mahad curled around him, tried to comfort him. We could go to the lake. There are ducks and ducks loose feathers. ========================= Awed Shana observed him grow a flower. It was beautiful, with bright red petals. When he held it out to her she blushed and grinned happily. A flower, he had given her a flower. ”I thought you could try and use Division on the petals.” "You mean, destroy it?" She asked and looked at the flower again. Nobody ever had given her a flower before and now he did so easily, grew it out of the earth without any effort. Shyly she added: "Can't I keep it?"
  4. Mahad slowly moved after him, his body spreading out thinly, to cover his movement. Can you see something? ===================== Shana followed him out into the backyard. The sun was shining and she could hear some birds. "What did you plan?" She asked Ben excitedly.
  5. Lizanne yelped in surprise when Renata stumbled into her and the door. Finally that stupid thing opened and she managed to hold on to the handle to avoid falling them down completely. Before she had regained her footing, Arun already rushed past her, followed by the guy with his Shardblade. Lizanne got to her feet and followed them hastily down, down was good, hopefully down was safe. Her leg ached by the time she'd reached the bottom of the stairs, stairs hurt and attempting to run hadn't made things better. With a groan she streched it, then looked around. Renata had a sphere in her hand, lightening up the room and Lizanne looked up, at the ceiling, tried to see if it was made of stone, or wood, if it was moving, if there were any holes or anything else that might indicate it's stability. Down here could be safe, but it also could be a death-trap. @Voidus
  6. Hello and welcome to the shard! Looking at the list of questions Nohadon asked, I won't add any for now But it's great you found your way to the forum!
  7. "We don't know." Lizanne replied, her voice calm, despite her growing fear. She continued to look around and then she froze. A door, close to where the servants had brought some food in. Or at least rather close, whatever. She hesitated, afraid to leave this possible spot of safety, but then she cursed at herself, stared at the door grabbed whatever courage she could find and took a first step. As fast as she could she hobbled over and pressed the handle, pulled. It didn't move. "Anybody knows where the door leads?" She shouted to all of them and at the same time at noone. She tried again, her hand shaking from fear, her body tense. Everytime she heard something she ducked, expected everything to fall down on her head the next second. @ZincAboutIt @kenod @Kidpen @Ark1002 @I think I am here.
  8. Lena smiled, relaxed when she saw, that the black shadows continued to vanish. "I know about that part. The angry kid I mean." She stepped closer gestured at his hand. "Mind if I take a look? I promise, I won't harm you."
  9. Happy Birthday Itiah!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

  10. Lena laughed. Right. Maybe the other bathroom would have been better. "No cameras in a bathroom. Or they are some kind of perverts, which I wouldn't rule out right now. But still, it was the best place I could think of." She locked the door and then kept her distance, waited until he or rather the shade slowly calmed down. Her hand closed around a small bottle in her bag, if he lost control it was too late, but still she felt better with some poison ready to use. "How do you calm him?" She asked mostly to cover her fear, tried unsuccessfully to keep up her usual laughing appearance.
  11. Amara watched in awe when the body of the spirit shivvered, and his skin turned a healthier colour. He reached put for Lilia's arm. "Water." He croaked, his voice hoarse. "Need... water."
  12. Lena froze and then cursed under her breath. She rushed over to Alask, grabbed his arm. He had changed, but as he had kept her secret, she guessed he would prefer if his stayed secret as well. "Come." She told him and pulled him with her, to the only place she could think of where there might be no security cameras. The woman's bathroom.
  13. Mahad raced after him, tried to get a good look at the bird. A cardinal. He should learn all these names and birds, know who were mean and who nice. Do you think there are some eggs as well? ============== Shana nodded. "It would be easier to concentrate." Hopefully that meant she would stop making a fool out of herself. But then he didn't seem to mind. She knelt down next to his stack of spheres and started to pack them, so that they could take them outside.
  14. Shai and Jasnah. They could figure out lots of interesting theories together.
  15. Lena slowly wandered over, interested to hear what they were talking about. She smiled at Lita, but otherwise kept quiet.
  16. "I figured he was one of their victims, maybe he got away before they could feed him to the thing. I don't know." "Can you help him? I never treated a spirit before."
  17. Lizanne froze for a moment, tried to grasp what was happening. The steps turning into air, the logs, the whole thing was falling down. "She's right. You should come." She told Lisa and then hobbled over to Renata as fast as she could. The crossbeam might offer additional safety. Might. A cellar would be better, but the only one who might know was the doorman, and there was chance she'd leave the spot here to ask him. "Did you see some stairs leading downward?" She asked Renata, doubting that she missed something like that, but you never knew. @kenod @ZincAboutIt
  18. Mahad followed him, tried to find the birds. At first, there was nothing, then he saw a small bird with a red tail, chilping excitedly. ==================== Sceptically she looked at the new dummy. To hit that one with a weapon would be stupid. Plastic tended to splinter, especially hard plastic. She inhaled again, concentrated, focused. It was loud in the training room, Doc came down, and left shortly afterwards, the others were talking. Was Ben watching her again? And where was Mahad, he was supposed to help, not to do whatever he did right now. The plastic felt different than the wood, where wood been stoic, old, this one was new and excited, open for a change. Another person entered the room, another one left. She really should do her homework soon - focus! Plastic, new and excited, the finger, only the finger. She opened her hand concentrated on the finger, slammed her mind against it, shattering the plastic, jumped in surprise when she heard a loud noise from behind and stared at the remains of the dummy. There was a large hole in the right side, and a piece of the foot was missing as well. Whirling around she found Rob standing in front of another Dummy, the head lying somewhere on the floor. "You startled me." She shouted and turned back to her own dummy, which was slowly falling over. With a loud noise it crashed, fell on the floor. @Lunamor @I think I am here.
