  1. Oh, yes! It felt like Avatar, but just enough to feel familiar to be comfortable, but different enough to be distinct and refreshing. Also, I can hear(The Character) Sokka in some of Callum's lines, and that felt nice.
  2. Definitely not how I envisioned Glys, but I love it all the same!
  3. Oh dang, that's a hard question, but for me it's gotta be Cadsuane. I like her low-threshold for stupidity
  4. Read it after "The Docks" You'll know it when you read it.
  5. I started EoTW in April, and just finished AMoL. It is worth every second on the long and winding road that is WoT. It was one of the best fantasy series I've read since the Cosmere. Even the Slog has its enjoyable moments. Jordan has taken Rowling's place in my holy trinity of Fantasy authors: Tolkien, Jordan, and of course Brandon Sanderson. Note: it may not yet be your time, I tried, and failed to read EotW twice before I could really get into the series.
  6. "A shard is never late, Dalinar Kholin, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to!"
  7. As Wyndlerunner, I approve wholeheartedly
  8. This was an awesome event! I had tons of fun, got rafo'd on whether Aesudan was part of the Sons of Honor, and learned that Hoid was at least somewhat involved in the vessel's plans regarding the Shattering of Adonalsium. Also that Pattern cosplay was incredible.
  9. Hey @Box Turtle and @Firerust, you should join! This is literally my favorite thread on the forums right now.
  10. It is but a thousand days and the WoBstorm comes!
  11. The "Last Breath" sequence is one of my favorite Wayne scenes, other than his church/bar analogy. Thank you for putting it to music @Firerusteze! There's also a part of me that just geeks out whenever someone brings in-world music to life.
  12. Thank you so much @RShara! This certainly eases my mind. Edit: I'm book number 70!
  13. So I ordered my copy, and got the confirmation number, but I can't tell where my book # is. Anyone able to enlighten me (except Sja-Anat) please do.
  14. Someone Hire this man as the Concept designer for the Stormlight Films! 'Cuz this is storming incredible.
  15. Am I the only one that instantly thinks of Team Rocket from the Pokemon TV show when the word 'Twerp' is used? Anyone? Also, I hadn't really considered Aesudan being one of Gavilar's Sons of Honor associates, and it does make quite a lot of sense. Gavilar was fond of playing Secret Society Matchmaker.
  16. Make that 2 vacations! Seafood is my Jam!
  17. He's at least 65. Considering that he's voiced several notable villains; the joker, Darth Bane, I think he could pull it off.
  18. Perfectly fine, I've been here nigh on six months, and I still can't figure out some of the technical stuff. Maybe Sean Bean for Elhokar? He can play paranoid pretty well, and the fact that his characters tend to die, twould be poetic.
  19. Hollow Knight, for Nintendo Switch. It's the only game I've played recently that fully engrosses me to the point that I can't wait to return to it.
  20. Certainly excited!
  21. Brandon better talk about The Sibling in book 4, otherwise we'll be inundated in Sibling Theories This theory could work, especially considering we have Stormfather- Honor godspren Nightwatcher- Cultivation godspren and then BAM?- Odium godspen.
  22. Navani also mentions, when she opens up to Shallan that Jasnah never let Navani mother her. I wonder if that might have also contributed to it, to have a child who doesn't let you raise her, and now she's gone, without really giving Navani that chance to really raise a child (Assuming Elhokar was primarily raised by his father, to learn how to be a king and all that fun stuff)
  23. Nope, just curious
