  1. Well, that was a super fun event. I didn't stay for personalization, but It was a great time hanging out with fellow Sharders
  2. I believe it's called Knobweed sap
  3. I'll be there! Excited to meet up with others who share my love of Sanderson books!
  4. What a lovely return to form @Personification!
  5. Awesome! y'all discussed my Aesudan and Hoid questions! that's almost as cool as the fact that Brandon answered the questions to begin with. Edit: by the way @Overlord Jebus, it was in fact inspired by Keeping up with the Kholins
  6. Alack, I double post. But on this most spooky of days, I have a Halloween-esque parody for you. Behold, The Kholin Family. (The Addams Family theme
  7. Probably a healthy mix of Elend and Shallan. I love philosophy, and books, and am slightly socially awkward- Elend Shallan and I have similar senses of humor, and desire to be a scholar Minor awkward social life spoilers I may have crushed on Shallan before the whole parent-killing thing was revealed
  8. That's a pretty cool idea, it gets the idea of Nalthis across pretty simply.
  9. Elantris: Hrathen's Redemption. This one just left me so bittersweet, crying tears of sadness and joy at once. Mistborn:TFE: Kelsier's death. It was just so sudden, even though I should have expected the mentor character to die WoA: Sazed and Tyndwl. Literally all the feels and all the tears at this one. Their romance was so sweet, and then my heart was torn out and stomped upon by Brandon freaking Sanderson. Again. HoA: The entirety of the ending. 'Nuff said. TWoK: Tien's death. Character death hits me hard most of the time, but this one more than most. Kaladin and I have quite a few similarities, in that we are both elder brothers looking out for our younger brothers. I put myself in Kal's shoes in that scene, and there went my hold on tears. WoR: "The Knights Radiant have returned". So Storming Awesome! OB: Dalinar's Flashbacks, The Girl Who Stood Up, Jasnah's Love, Kaladin and the surrogate Bridge 4's, Elhokar, and Venli's redemption. I'm just a very emotional person, and Oathbringer utterly wrecked me emotionally. Warbreaker: Lightsong. just Lightsong
  10. People around me may or may not have asked after my well being while reading Lies of the Beholder, so I think that y'all can tell what my reaction was. I loved the story, but it felt rushed in it's execution, it felt less like the grand conclusion of Steve's story than an epilogue to that story; A "What happened after" if you will, much like the events regarding the Fellowship of The Ring in the 4th age in that LOTR Appendix
  11. Is Dragonwatch any good? I gave up on Brandon Mull after realizing that while individual books in his series are quite good, I've been unsatisfied with every series ending of his that I've read. So basically what I'm asking is, would Dragonwatch rinse out the bad taste in my mouth from the Fablehaven series?
  12. There's also a reference that Shasta Smedry WoT spoilers books 1-5
  13. Thanks man! it's been a goal of mine since I joined to contribute at least 1 parody to this awesome thread.
  14. I eagerly anticipate your comeback! Also, great song choice
  15. Not a traditional meme persay, but here we go
  16. Definitely! Going to a Brandon event is always worth getting behind on sleep and homework!

    Very Harmmore...
  18. If male Aes Sedai were still a thing post-Breaking, I'd be Brown Ajah all the way. I tend to ramble on a lot when talking about things that make me passionate, and I love reading (as you can probably tell because I'm on an author's forum talking about a 15 book series).
  19. It's cool, no need to feel guilty. And you're welcome
  20. Verin, is also, in fact, utterly incredible
  21. Thanks @Personification! You have no idea how much that compliment means coming from a person who's work I respect, and am inspired by.
  22. Thanks. I had an opportunity, and I made good use of it
  23. Presenting yet another parody with Major OB spoilers
  24. Simple. The One Ring is a gold metalmind storing Sauron's Health
  25. Behold a parody! "The Survivor of Hathsin"
