  1. It's a little hard to go to other stuff after Brandon, but I still regularly read Robert Jordan (shameless WoT plug) and JRR Tolkien (Grampa Tolkien holds up)
  2. (I'm gonna use parentheses for some non character stuff, because I'm on mobile and my phone is weird. Man a heck of a lot has happened on on my week off- something not entirely my choice, as illness has left me quite exhausted. So sorry bout that) After quite the rest, James finally succumbed to the Nightwatcher's prodding, and went looking for Sawyer. "Hey Sawyer" he called out, "You here?" @Taradiddle
  3. About 20 minutes into the podcast your whole "Deliberate in the use of knowledge" segment gave me serious Horoscope/Zodiac Sign vibes. Somebody should make a KR Horoscope, which you can use based off the order you are.
  4. Pretty technical for a Sanderfan discussion, but I approve, wholeheartedly of repeating that mantra.
  5. I suppose if we want this thread to gain more traction, we could put something in our sigs, like "Author for the Borio Singaldi Writing Anthology" or something to that effect. @Firerust, What do you think? I don't want to start advertising it without your consent, as you are the Shawn Speakman to our Unfettered, if you take my meaning.
  6. They changed the name to "Noodle Incident" to protect the identity of all pastas involved...
  7. I feel ya on that one. I saw it with my younger brother and @Box Turtle, and Light of the Heavens it was the most intense, emotionally satisfying conclusion that I could have wished for.
  8. This is a massive improvement over the US cover for Skyward in my opinion- It feels so much more dynamic (and not over saturated with the color purple). We'll have to wait and see whether or not the UK cover keeps its new tradition of being better than the US covers.
  9. Here is mine as well Borio Singaldi and the Prospect of the Prospective Death of Death's Prospects
  10. I can totally see where you're coming from! I mean, one of the early critiques of the prequels (Which are genuinely my favorite SW films) was that they weren't like the original trilogy.
  11. Well, given that I love the Wheel of Time- my two favorites are Ride into Obsession and Wheel of Time. Nightfall in Middle-Earth is a cool concept, but I legitimately think that metal does not work stylistically for Tolkien's world
  12. No, No, I meant like whether the books exist in this world- Cause James is gonna be a superfan if they do
  13. Even though you might not wish to get in deep, and I don't know if you've already played it, but Breath of the Wild is the best Zelda game I've ever played, and I reccomend it highly. As for myself, I've been playing quite a bit of Octopath Traveler for the Switch. (Like over a hundred hours- My brother thinks I have a problem, and I'm starting to agree with him)
  14. Yeah, that just ain't gonna cut it boi.
  15. Brandon Hath Spoken. These Words are Accepted (by me at least) @AonEne, @Ark1002 OB spoilers
  16. I have a feeling that regular Truthwatchers do see visions- of present or past events- especially given the fact that they had to have "An Abundance of Tact", according to in world Words of Radiance.
  17. Thanks for the advice 'Ene. My younger brother got me into the series, and has continually pestered me to finish, so with that in mind, I might just finish it. (As soon as I can find a good point in my WoT re-read, and find time to read John Gwynne's Faithful and the Fallen series)
  18. Welcome to the Shard @Perrin, I assume based upon your username that you're quite the Wolfbrother fan?
  19. And this is why I'm not in that fandom
  20. But what if he died to save everyone on Roshar? Then he'd be like the ultimate Windrunner- Protecting all those who cannot protect themselves.
