  1. Max smiled. “Definitely. What do you think I’ve been doing this past year?” Besides, he has one nicrosilmind that was almost empty anyway, he could probably use the rest of it up. Extending his hands outwards, Max concentrated, Rioting tiredness, fatigue, and sadness. The sadness was so they’d be able to hear Frob. He extended the Riot in all directions, making sure to exclude the people around him. He tapped his Nicrosilminds more, enhancing the Riot, flaring it more and more. Slowly he was approaching a level of power close to Oasis, but not quite. He didn’t want to slip, lose control. @Gancho Libre
  2. “I guess so,” Rob said, moving out of his room, towards the stairs. He looked back at her. “Do you need help?”
  3. Max paused. It’s just one person, he said. And an evil one at that. I promise, no losing control.
  4. “I can Riot,” Max said. “If I do it enough, it should be enough to make some sort of reaction. If I Riot sadness, and then push it in all directions - minus you guys, of course, all we have to look for is someone weeping.”
  5. Rob froze, looking to her. If he ever needed to talk to someone, she said she was there. To help him? Today had been a weird day. People asking how he was, people offering themselves if he needed to talk to someone, compliments. But he needed to make sure, not to give in to everything. Like his father taught him, a real man didn’t need others. Right? But still, it was nice. “I... appreciate it,” Rob said. “No one has ever said that to me before.” He looked at her leaning against the wall, like he was, but his legs weren’t shaking like hers. “Are you sure you’ll be able to go down the stairs?” He asked, moving to the doorway of his room.
  6. “Thanks,” he said and climbed down the sewer. He smiled internally at the memory she had given him, of her smiling at his compliment. Really, he needed to get her to smile more. She was so pretty when she did that. As soon as he was down in the next level he jogged up ahead of his partners and turned, talking to them. “I can Riot in all directions,” he said. “When we hear a scream, we know where to look.”
  7. “Me too,” Rob said, standing and leaning against the wall. “It would probably be good for me to walk around, recover, instead of spending my time in my room.” He listened, and it sounded like the others were talking about something downstairs. He looked to her. “Are you going to go back to your room?” She’d said she didn’t know if she’d be able to stand for long, that made Rob feel worse. He could at least stand. He needed something to lean on, but still.
  8. Rob paused. Emotions. Thinking he moved an open palm to the place where the burns had been, where they had spread from to all over his body. Now, of course, it had all been healed. “I’ll be alright,” he said, looking to her. His face was impassive but his eyes still showed a sadness. “You shouldn’t feel sorry. I was the one who said you could go full out. And you still can. It was just, I pushed you so hard to use that division, throws, stabs...” he looked down. “I backed you into a corner, where the only way out was doing what you did. It’s not your fault.” He realised his sketchbook was clearly visible and he snatched it away. “What I told Ben to tell you was that I was sorry. The way I fought, that was uncalled for.” He stopped. “But that’s enough emotions for now. Are we still doing that party?”
  9. “Good,” Rob said. “Ben asked me the same thing.” He looked to her. “Did Ben pass on my message to you?”
  10. After Ben had left, Rob had drifted to sleep. He had awoken ten minutes before he heard someone’s knock. “Come in,” He said, tiredly sitting up on his mattress, leaning against the wall, keeping his face impassive.”
  11. @Blessing of Potency
  12. “The cellar is enough shelter,” Wilhelm said, turning back to her. “And all of that alcohol inside of it. we can separate it into water. The only question is food.” He looked to Arun, with the glass in her leg, then averted his gaze. No. They’d need to hunt some animals. That, or farm. Wilhelm knee nothing about farming.
  13. A group of people walked solemnly to the entrance of the Church. They wore suits and little badges that said ‘inter-guild relations’. One man was leading them. Walking to the main door he knocked.
  14. Wilhelm groaned, whatever it was, it was dead. Dead. “No,” he said. “Maybe it is what killed all of these people. And we have killed it.”
  15. Max searched with her, feeling the walls as he walked by them. Something sticked to his hand and he flicked it off. These walls were disgusting. But of course, they still had to search, Max wouldn’t let a little dirt and some cockroaches distract him. “Good job on rescuing the kid,” he said to Althea. @Sorana
  16. Alask was about to suggest the Forge but it seemed Lena and the woman hadn’t begun their own conversation. Sighing he found a cheap folding chair and brought it to the stage, and sat down, scanning for Nekorb. “Why did you ask if she could remove me.” I didn’t ask that. “I at least know enough about people to tell when someone is implying something.” Alask sighed again. Forget about it.
  17. Max followed them silently, though he noted there were no lights or obvious movements from the tunnel they were travelling to. “Frob’s going to his own contacts, but oddly there isn’t any sign of some sort of settlement or base in these tunnels.” He jogged a little ahead. “So that could either mean he went back to the surface, or there’s a base hidden in the walls and ground, because on this normal sewer level there doesn’t seem to as much activity as we’re led to believe, which means it’s hidden.”
  18. Wilhelm covered his ears as the scream broke loose and he cursed in South Scadrian. When Hellbent pulled the blade out and the scream faded he looked up angrily. “You could have killed us! Sovereign knows what that... thing is.” He shuffle day forwards, towards where Hellbent had poked his sword, to the muted white light. “It’s alive,” he said, turning to the others. “It must be, to scream?”
  19. Rob nodded. “That’s good,” he said. Sighing he looked up at Ben. “I’m sorry man, doing that to your girlfriend. Tell her I’m sorry too.” He paused, and slid back down on his back, looking at the roof.
  20. Rob nodded. “Well, I am ok. How’s Shana?” He felt a little guilty at how much he’d hurt her during the sparring.
  21. “I guess so. Not sure if you noticed but:” he waved a hand in front of his face. “I’m too good in the emotions department. Maybe it’s because I’m like that all the time, neutral, that they don’t ask.” He shook his head. “But that’s something else. Why did you come? Just to ask me how I was?”
  22. Rob nodded, his face neutral, not showing anything of what he thought. “So, if no one’s asked me...” he trailed off, then shrugged. “That’s fine. What about you? How are you doing?”
  23. Rob paused, then shook his head. “Well, not really. Is that a normal thing people ask each other anyway?”
  24. Alask looked in annoyance to the man who wasn’t Nekorb. “You what? Rust it.” He stood up. “If he couldn’t hear us through a microphone of the entire hall he’s probably dead.” He looked up at Laurelai. “It was nice meeting you,” He said though her spikes still reminded him of his own, how he’d got them. He looked to Lena. “Should we go?” He knew she hadn’t cared for Nekorb anyway. @Sorana @Voidus
