  1. Granted, but your time dialation causes summer to go by faster as well, and it is fall within the week. Before you know it, day and night are mere eyeblinks and years go by quicker than Wayne changes hats. You age in moments, and as life flashes by find yourself tumbling into your grave. Hoid thinks this is all terribly amusing, and thanks your Cognitive Shadow for giving him a nice laugh. He then proceeds to use you as a boat for all of eternity. I wish that I, as the bearer of Cultivation, could defeat Odium.
  2. There’s 104 about 14 but nobody really knows because we don’t have regular seasons on Roshar anyway days of summer vacation.
  3. Here is my character. Sorry this has taken so long, AonEne, I just accidentally deleted my character twice. If that’s a little dark, I can change it.
  4. Granted, but you don’t have a key to open them. I wish mosquitos didn’t exist,
  5. Granted, but everyone else’s charismatic abilities disappear and they all feel too insecure to ever talk to you. I wish Kelsier could meet Brandon Sanderson and slap him for killing him and all his friends. Only because it would be hilarious, and since Kelsier would be in our world, I’d be able to meet him.
  6. The lady Brightlady couldn’t stand being around Frank Sadeas because he was such a rude person terrible excuse for a human being who should be imprisoned on Braize. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.
  7. Welcome to the Stormlight Archive Autocorrect! Its a beautiful miserable, rainy day to create a new game on the shard, and I can't wait to would rather run bridges through Damnation than share this idea with you all. Its a game, where one person says a phrase, and the next autocorrects it, Roshar-style. For example, if I said: A flock of birds shot off in fear as a dragon rose into the air, illuminated by the glorious sunrise. The next person would change it to: A flock of birds chickens shot off in fear as a dragon lanceryn rose into the air, illuminated by the glorious sunrise looming highstorm's lightning flashes, juxtaposed against the dreary sky. Very very minor OB spoiler reference: Feel free to use anything Roshar, from chull, to axehounds, to tallew. I'll go first. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
  8. Here you go. Non-canon Stoneward Oaths 2-5: I will stand when others fall. I will find a way to succeed, even when no path is visible. I will hold the weight of responsibilities others have shirked. I am duty.
  9. I love Rysn, and really want her and Chiri Chiri to survive. One of the scenes I am most looking forward to/hope happens is if/when Chiri Chiri grows into a lanceryn and Rysn rides to save the day, or something to that effect. Regarding Jasnah, I think she will eventually die, for real this time, but not until the 9th or 10th book. She is just too powerful, and would probably impede with the end by being able to do things too easily. I never really got why everyone loves her, while she is a good character and a strong role, I haven’t really seen any progression. She clearly had troubles in her past, and has progressed, even since the WoR prologue, but during the main plot of the books she has been a rather flat mentor character. These are my own views, and while I respect others and others may not share them, please do not be offended by them. I also think Bridge Four will outlive Kaladin, and that his symbol before his chapters is Bridge Four raiding his cloak on their spears in salute.
  10. I think Taravangian will kill one of the main characters for the “greater good” and when another protagonist tries to stop him they end up messing up something holding back Odium and causing everything to turn out worse. I think it’s most likely that Szeth will die, but that’s just me.
  11. Mount Doom yelled “Go long!” and threw the ring back. It flew way over Butt’s head, as Mount Doom had terrible aim. To be fair, he had no arms either.
  12. I just want Kaladin to walk in with Bridge Four and tell them all that he did it better.
  13. Granted, but you can’t use copper Feruchemy. I wish I could go to a Sanderson signing.
  14. I always imagined them as marbles sized, with chips the size of a fingernail and broams a little bigger than a thumbnail, with little uncut gemstones inside (I imagined the gemstones as only a small fraction of the marbles size). I always saw them as perfectly spherical except for a small sliver cut off on the bottom just wide enough to balance it (we are talking ~1 cm here). To the contrary, I always saw Shadesmar beads as about twice as big as a tennis ball.
  15. Ooh, just thought of an even better one than my last one for Shadows for Silence.
  16. Here’s a few I wrote as a set: We can’t forget, can we hide away? Hide. We can forget, can’t we? Blackness engulfing, rising and trapping the world. The trapping and rising, engulfing blackness. Sorrow peircing hearts, shattered glass heartbeats. Glass, shattered hearts. Piercing sorrow. Also, one I wrote for a friend (I decided this one looks better formatted differently) You, blessing all with light Words lifting you Above stars Above you, lifting words’ light With all blessing you.
  17. Granted, but the Knights of the Cosmere procrastinate rescuing you from Detrare for all eternity and you are never freed. I wish it would rain.
  18. So, just a thought here, Brandon has spoke of how the landscape itself is gaining sentience on Sel in the AU essays, which leads to an interesting possibility. Jaddeth could be the growing consciousness of the land itself, "waking up", and the skaze could be either using it as a tool or working collaboratively with it. Jaddeth is described as a god of earth, rocks, etc. fitting nicely with being a landmass. Also, the growing prominence and references to waking from his slumber could be due to the slow formation of consciousness naturally found in stagnant investiture. The skaze likely took notice of the forming intelligence, and seeing its potential use, began to influence it to support them while it was weak minded and young. Drawing a parallel to the stormfather, who, despite not "being" the highstorm, had enough power over it to call one at the end of WoR, the landmass could possibly manipulate itself, which, due to the highly location based magic on Sel, could be a powerful tool (see the chasm in Arelon, which could have even been caused by 'Jaddeth' under the skaze's orders to topple the Elantrians, a major threat to their Dominion of Opelon). That escalated quickly. I apologize for the rather baseless assumptions. That said, it is entirely possible that the skaze are using Jaddeth as a puppet to control Wyrn and as a tool to aid their conquest. This also has interesting implications, regarding whether the sentience is separate for different parts of the world, or one mind. So many future plot threads...
  19. The Ghostblood’s own lawyer accepted these terms, and with both sides in agreement, I merely took what they had proposed and used that as the agreed upon sentence. MacThorstenson was killed, but other characters by him are free from unnecessary or vengeance based murders. The GBs could still be hired to kill him, if it was for a sufficient reason, and you can still kill him out of self defence/provocation. TL;DR blame the lawyers for these terms, they wrote them and agreed upon them.
  20. Sorry, I fixed that. That was a mistake. I really messed up that trial a lot. Apologies for not better understanding what the plan was or what was going on.
  21. "Gancho Libre, having accepted Kidpen's terms, I sentence you to death by aluminum armed firing squad. Furthermore, no future incarnations of MacThorstenson cannot be murdered or in any other way killed by the Ghostbloods without fair reason, including contract and provocation. Any other reasons for death can be manipulated or controlled by the Ghostbloods. If the Ghostbloods break this resolution, another trial or equivalent impartial hearing must occur. The minimum punishment for such an act is death, and the maximum charge death and removal of license to kill in the Alleyverse. The case is closed." I say, standing after I finish to walk out of the room. That had gone by incredibly quickly.
