Rock. There are so many rocks in TWOK... "Prince" doesn't fit well. "Slay" could mean a few things. One could be just a "slang" term, a word that doesn't mean quite what it says. However, that is quite unlikely. Chances are, it is something that is literally living and needs being slayed. I'd love to see Kaladin ask Renarin to kill a Thunderclast like that.

"His son" it said. Specifically "his son". Maybe a vision of the future, though?

My guess is, either this is a vision... or Or, of course, this is Renarin passing out because of his blood weakness while he is in battle. But I prefer choice one. Hahahaha--sorry Adolin, but you deserve it. Here's the whole idea for idea 1:

I bring greetings from the future!

Sylphrena is Honor? -
I'd do scientific stuff... I'd also test it out on liquids, solid-liquids, solids (i.e. ice) that I can melt into a liquid (i.e. water) and see what they do... etc. I'd write a fabulous book. I'd take every college class I could and be a genius. I'd be a great spy (). I'd go to every single landmark (famous and/or sub-famous, and/or not-quite-sub-famous) and do the stuff I could... I'd find those many perfect someones, in my many years of life. jk LOL. I would probably not... And then I'd interrogate Brandon Sanderson and learn all about the Cosmere and everything we dont know. I'd find out how the SA turns out, Szeth's past, all that cool stuff.

You're reading into it too much. For all we know, he's hallucinating. But we now know that the book ends right before the Last Desolation. Or something like that, anyway.

What happened to Gavilar's Blade?
Glaring at the Survivor replied to Aletus's topic in Stormlight Archive
Cool, this sounds pretty likely. Unless the servant that found Gavilar, or Sadeas himself, took the Blade and is keeping it hidden (for now) from everyone. -
If you didnt reflect light, you'd be like totally black. And then later be totally white. That or you'd be invisible.

Less defendable. Easier to burn down a wooden bridge to keep your enemies out than to smash a bridge with Thor's hammer. Just saying... Except that the Listeners can just jump across.

I highly doubt it, for a few reasons:One, why then would the helmets not always appear fully transparent? Two, if they could choose whether or not they were fully transparent or not, what would be the purpose of choosing and changing it? Would not them always being fully transparent, but still being there, be a better choice? I'm pretty sure it works more like shardblades, in that that they could be dismissed. Or worked. Perhaps due to their powering system being different or something? And I bet it's possible to 'dismiss' a Shardblade while holding it... maybe... EDIT: Maybe the armor is just weaker the more times you "regenerate" it.

Szeth is NOT a Windrunner! He holds a He has no spren and no bond, its WoB. I'll bet thats why he cant use Shardplate. Ooh, maybe he could use I highly doubt modern Plate and Blades are copies. I believe the majority of 'em are held and hidden by the But other people have some. I mean, people havent forgotten how to make fabrials! Imagine - if they knew how to make Plate and Blade, chances are they wouldn't let the knowledge be lost. And how does modern Plate and Blade act differently, other than that it doesn't glow?

Mini Theory: Shallan didn't kill her father
Glaring at the Survivor replied to askthepaperclip's topic in Stormlight Archive
I think she killed her father and crippled Balat with the sword. Or whichever of her brothers was crippled. -

Kaladin and the Third Ideal
Glaring at the Survivor replied to ProfessorMLyon's topic in Stormlight Archive
Maybe it will be something about forgiving... "I will forgive the idiots that killed my former spear squad of the wrongs they made in the past." Or just "I will forgive the wrongs made in the past." -
The theory I have here isn't too backed up, but I have a feeling I'm at least close. And the next feeling I get is that it's horrible. Anyway, I think that the reason Shardblades and Shardplate glow has something to do with spren. So far, the only people we've seen with glowing shardblade are/were the Knights Radiant, and as soon as they left their Plates and Blades, they lost their glow. And they also were no longer "owned" by the Knights, whom we know had Spren due to their Surgebinding capabilities. My guess is, if a Surgebinder holds a Blade and/or is wearing a set of Plate, it will glow again. So if Kaladin does end up with a Shardblade, it'll glow. I hope.

Darkness caused the Recreance
Glaring at the Survivor replied to vikorr's topic in Stormlight Archive
Does Darkness have an Honorblade? I suppose its possible, but I never thought of that. To me Darkness seems like Denth, really... Or like evil Vasher. We know too little. And I didnt pick up that Darkness was at the treaty ceremony... -
Amaram: Redemption or Revenge

Introducing the Shardhunt!
Glaring at the Survivor commented on firstRainbowRose's article in Site News
Unless BREATH was a hint, which i dont think it was, it should have an E at the end... -
Um... Guys that are saying that Shardplate interferes with Szeth's Lashings, and then assuming that such is (a) true for all Surgebinders and/or ( true for Dalinar and Elhokar, have you heard that Szeth doesnt have a spren that goves him his powers? No, it does not. (Hm....) Gold star to you. http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/2383-qa-with-brandon-sanderson/page-6So perhaps it is because of his specific non-spren-powered Surgebinding that Plate interferes. Just a possibility.

It has been suggested somewhere that there may be two forms of the Thrill, one powered by Odium and one powered by Honor. I think that is true. Here's a little bit more: Honor's Thrill: Thrill used for a good purpose - fighting to save others, etc. This would be the Thrill that Dalinar is fueled by when Odium's Thrill: Thrill used for bad purposes - killing for killings sake, killing for more land, etc. This is the Thrill that sickens Dalinar. Now, we don't really have any proof that such thing exists, but I think that the Thrill is powered by a type of spren. Thrillspren arent seen because they are perhaps inside of the person feeling the Thrill. Dalinar's body has started rejecting Odium's Thrillspren and they make him sick, but Honor's Thrillspren don't. They are (if they exist) attracted to battling for whichever purpose.
