Wow. I want to be Wit. Kings or not, I guess I don't care.... You know, I've always wondered what it would be like to go to a signing and act as Wit. Just sit on a stool and insult everyone that walks by to ask Brandon a question or get his signature... EDIT: What is an obligator?

Hidden Things in Map of Roshar?
Glaring at the Survivor replied to RShara's topic in Stormlight Archive
The frost lands seems like a cold desert. And actually, most deserts get really cold during the night too... -
Physical Appearance Changes

Warbreaker Spoilers They aren't very similar in that aspect... I was linking them because Surgebinders heal back to how they view themself, and . -
Physical Appearance Changes
Glaring at the Survivor replied to Glaring at the Survivor's topic in Stormlight Archive
Well... she can, with the whole lightweaving thing, change a lot more than just herself. I didn't say this would be easy. At all. Just… possible. Barely possible. Likely never to actually happen (for reasons you guys are pointing out, and that I doubt anyone would really try much more than with their hair) but possible. Speaking of that, could someone possibly "heal" their hair? -
Hidden Things in Map of Roshar?
Glaring at the Survivor replied to RShara's topic in Stormlight Archive
Guys! I figured it out! It's a map! It shows where everything is for reference to locations!! And stuff. (Yeah, Peter said we wouldn't guess it. So I guessed what we haven't guessed. Mwahahahaha! ) -
You forgot the ! Anyway, I've seen them too. Never thought much of it. It looks like they're eating one of the orders. Consuming the stormlight, maybe? They might just be some random symbolic thing for consumption of stormlight, but... Gah, I had a reason of why they would be there and I've forgotten it!

Physical Appearance Changes
Glaring at the Survivor replied to Glaring at the Survivor's topic in Stormlight Archive
had the skill to do so (to an extent). And I'd guess a bunch of world hoppers do, too. Huh. Interesting point... If you have six fingers (on your left hand and killed a Spanish dude, unleashing the wrath of his son,) and the sixth is cut off, you should be able to heal that back, right? Hmm... I think I do remember that, now that you mention it. -
I'm posting another one of my theories here, but this one is a lot more... likely. The only problem is, I can't find the WoB links for my quotes of him. Oh, and there are some Warbreaker spoilers, but I'll try to conceal them all So what I'm proposing is this: it is possible to "heal" yourself into having a new appearance by using stormlight. First of all, we have been told that Kaladin's forhead glyphs don't heal because they are a "part of his identity", but more specifically they are "how he sees himself". If I am correct in my recollection of that (WB spoilers) then so could someone containing Stormlight. Of course, a Stormlight-holder would do it by "healing" into how they then view themself, whereas . So really, Shallan doesn't have to cloak herself in light, she just has to see herself differently. But since that obviously takes practice and is likely quite difficult, cloaking herself is more effective. For the time being. Anyway, any thoughts? (Links to WoBs?) I'd like to see that this is possible.... And I'm really convinced it is.

Szeth's Unique Aquisition (SPOILERS!!!!!!)
Glaring at the Survivor replied to Swimmingly's topic in Stormlight Archive
Nightblood is one thousand times as strong as Syl. I say this because NB is "orders of magnitude" which could well be one thousand times as strong, and he was made with the Invested souls of one thousand people, (so he's, like, one thousand souls/spirits) and Syl is just one. Anyway, Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 387973120 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 431470896 bytes) in Unknown on line 0 I've said it elsewhere, but I'm pretty sure that Skybreakers (Szeth's order) have the Gravity surge. Meaning Szeth will still have the same surge he used (majorly) before. And by the way, has Szeth or Kaladin ever used the Pressure surge? Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 387973120 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 465103152 bytes) in Unknown on line 0 Nightblood has been worse than a light saber, when unsheathed especially. Warbreaker Spoilers Yeah, worse by far. I also don't think Szeth will be quite the murderer he was before. Then, he (thought he) had no choice. Now, I'm pretty sure it's obvious that he does. Unless Nightblood controls him... -
Bridge 4 Portraits
Glaring at the Survivor commented on ktep's gallery image in Stormlight Archive Art
The second guy from the left on row two looks a lot like my speech teacher. That guy really hated my tonsils. And hears more than (or less than?) is said. I'll assume it's actually... Kal, right? PS, looks cool. Although... they did have tattoos.... And who's the lighteyes in the corner? Im bad at telling who is whom. -
Huh. I suppose I'll remove that then... but... it would be just the thing some people would do... Anyway, I've been throwing around the idea of trying to find a theory of Spren VS Shardblades... Well, I now see that that was answered already. Lol. Hahahaha. That was really great timing, I must say. I actually decided this morning that I should check around... And now I see the answer...

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 387973120 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 401066288 bytes) in Unknown on line 0 Hum. Out of curiosity, is there any reason this was down voted? Did I say something bad?

Szeth said that Surgebinders and Voidbinders were returning. Stone shamans, and perhaps other Shin, thought he was lying. I can imagine a scornful remark "If you think the Surgebinders are returning, lead them! Take Jezerezeh's Honorblade, and lead as he did!"I also assume the Shin were charged by someone with protecting the Honorblades (reminds me of a certain instance on Nalthis (WB world, right?) ) and they take it very seriously. And other... stuff...

Heartbreaking Moments / Tear-Jerkers
Glaring at the Survivor replied to Lateralus's topic in Stormlight Archive
As soon as Syl started showing symptoms of being… a normal spren… and all the way up until she came back. And when she did come back, I was like "FINALLY" (of course, I said nothing aloud). I hated Kaladin when he killed her. -
I wonder if Taln himself switched the blades. Hehe.

Did Shallan draw the herald Shalash?
Glaring at the Survivor replied to Sensai24's topic in Stormlight Archive
One would asume that Shallan killed him with the Shardblade as well. So probably, yeah... maybe? -
That story really applies to a KR. "Life before death." Fleet lived, and ran, and died. "Strength before weakness." Fleet was strong at the start of the race. So was the Storm. "Journey before destination." Fleet ran the journey before making it to the destination. And then there's the whole thing about this: Fleet ran. He was a runner. Perhaps even a Windrunner, really. Like Kaladin. I think you may be correct in the interpretation of this.

[Deadly glitch stuff] I know that. But still, the fact that Kalad and Kaladin are side-by-side... interesting.

*In very commanding voice full of authority* "You are a fire." (This goes along with "One only has to say they are the sister of the king, and act like it, to be treated as such." [That is not a direct quote… it's a paraphrase.]) OR "I am a stick" "No, you are a fire." "I am a stick." "You have lied to yourself. You have lied so deeply that you believe it with your whole heat." "Fire doesn't have a heart." "Heat. You are fire. You have heat. It is time to face the lies you have made. You are fire." "Yes... yes, I am fire." OR *Calls in a Forger from Sel* (Except for the fact that they aren't quite that good......)

Theory on Summoning a Shardblade
Glaring at the Survivor replied to Glaring at the Survivor's topic in Stormlight Archive
I hadn't read the book when I wrote this thread, so I had no idea how much new stuff we'd learn.
